KUSS -- Mrs. Tina Kuss, beloved wife of Adam B. Kuss of Calgary, passed away peacefully at her home on November 12, 1997 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her five children, Gloria (Cliff), Darlene (Dave), John (June), Stan, Sheree (Larry); and twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 5552 Madigan Drive N.E., Friday, November 14, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark's Catholic Church on Saturday, November 15, 1997 at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at The Good Shepherd Cemetery, 17 Avenue S.E. at Garden Road.Funeral arrangements entrusted to Mountainview Funeral Home, telephone (403) 272-5555. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.

MILLER -- James (Jim), beloved husband of Henriette of Calgary, passed away at Rosedale Hospice on November 13, 1997 at the age of 69 years. Jim was an instructor in Culinary Arts at SAIT for twenty-two years. Henriette extends her heartfelt thanks to Home Care nurse Pam Brown and special thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Rosedale Hospice for the loving care and attention given to Jim during his lengthy battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 18, 1997 at Eglise Ste. Famille Church, 1719 - 5 Street S.W. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rosedale Hospice, 920 - 7A Street N.W., T2M 3J3. JACQUES FUNERAL HOME in care of arrangements.

McHUGH -- Kevin S. passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on November 12, 1997 at the age of 67 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley; daughter Shannon and Lloyd Allen; son David and Carole; son Russell and Sherri; daughter Tara McHugh and Darrin Lee; grandchildren, Kevin, Gil, Geneisa, Brendan and Kiara; as well as family in Ireland. Kevin was well-known for his enthusiasm and love and life; he loved meeting people, working in his garden, talking with the neighbors or anyone who would stop by to chat. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral, 219 - 18 Avenue S.W. on Saturday, November 15, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Lawrence Bagnall, Celebrant. PERRY -- Thomas Albert Perry of Calgary, passed away November 12, 1997 at the age of 39 years. He will be fondly remembered by his father and stepmother, Robert and Gerri Perry; twin brother Rob Perry (Deb); and brother Lloyd Perry (Melinda); eight nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. Tom was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Perry in 1985. Tom was born and raised in Calgary. After graduating from Forest Lawn High School he worked for Safeway for sixteen years and for the past three years has worked for CP Rail as a Conductor/Yard Foreman. He was an avid fly-fisherman and sportsman, skilled at taxidermy and loved country and western dancing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at Pierson's Funeral Home, 4121 - 17 Avenue S.E. with Rev. W. George Chapman officiating. SCHMIDT -- Louise May. On Wednesday, November 12, 1997, Louise Schmidt of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta passed away at the age of 59 years following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Lloyd; one daughter Robyn (Eric) Baxter of Tottenham, Ontario; one son Dennis at home; two grandsons, Zackary and Quinn; her mother-in-law Margaret Schmidt; one brother, five sisters, also numerous other relatives and friends. Louise was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Maria Bergan in 1987, and father-in-law Tony Schmidt in 1993. Those wishing to pay their last respects may do so on Friday, November 14, 1997 at the RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 10103 - 100 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. or prior to the Funeral Service that will be held on Saturday, November 15, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 9909 - 90 Street, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Pastor Vern Vansteenburg will officiate with Cremation to follow. SEAMAN -- Donna Marie, beloved wife and best friend of Dennis, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on November 12, 1997. She is also survived by her daughter Lisa; sons, Shane, Jody and Kelly; grandchildren, Chelsea, Alyx, Brittany and Casey; her sister Susan Hills (Bill); niece Sarah and nephew Jessie; special aunt Bella Eden; daughter-in-law Sue Chambers; sister-in-law Deb Seaman; as well as several other relatives in British Columbia. Donna was born in Vancouver in 1942 and moved to Calgary where she attended Viscount Bennett High School and the University of Calgary. She taught with the Calgary Board of Education until she left to raise her family. Her special loves in life included family, especially children, friends, animals, plants, the ocean, reading, art and science. A life lived in kindness, gentleness and unconditional love is the precious legacy she leaves to family and friends. We mourn our loss but are grateful her suffering has ended and she can now walk peacefully in the fields and along the shores of eternity. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff in I.C.U., Unit 61, Unit 74 and the P.R.E.P. Unit at Rockyview Hospital for their efforts and compassion in caring for Donna. AUBICHON -- Stella Flora Aubichon of Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Saskatoon, passed away peacefully at the Agape Manor, Calgary on Friday, October 31, 1997 at the age of 60 years. COPITHORNE -- C.W. (Bill) Copithorne of Bluffton passed away peacefully at the Rimbey and District Health Care Centre on October 30, 1997 at the age of 66 years. Bill was born and raised in the Calgary area where he worked for AGT for thirty-two years as a construction foreman. Upon retiring in 1982, he moved to Rimbey with his wife Peggy to pursue his longtime love of farming. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed being outdoors with his family. Bill was an active member of the Southern Alberta Pioneers and Their Descendents in Calgary; serving on the Board of Directors, as well as President. Bill was a past director of the Rimbey Rodeo Association and he was very active in the Lavesta Community Association. Bill will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. May God rest his soul. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife Peggy; two sons, Shaun and his wife Yvonne Copithorne and their children, Barry and Robert, all of Spruce Grove; and Mark and his wife Diane Copithorne and their children, Chelsey, Lyndon and Brooklyn, all of Rocky Mountain House. Bill will also be lovingly remembered by Muriel Philp of Rimbey; two brothers, Ian and his wife Eileen Copithorne of Bluffton, and Rolfe and his wife Dagmar Copithorne of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Louise. DAVIDSON -- Murray James Davidson, beloved son and brother, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 1997 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Murray was predeceased by his father Andrew in 1986. He will be dearly missed by his son Kyle; mother Naomi (Nan); sister Melanie (Mike) Humston; brothers, Alastair (Elaine), Stirling (Rachel), Scott (Carolyn), and Ross (Melodie), all of Calgary, Alberta; and also many nieces and nephews. Murray was born on August 12, 1960 in Reigate, Surrey, England and chose to swim upstream all of his life. His wonderful, strong, unique spirit will continue to live in our hearts always. EDINGER -- Rolf Edinger passed away peacefully in Calgary on October 30, 1997 at the age of 71 years. Rolf will be sadly missed by his wife Maya. He was born in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1954. Rolf had a passion and love for skiing.
