She then became employed at the Royal Alexander Hospital in the Preemie Nursery.
After the arrival of her two wonderful children, they moved to Medicine Hat.
Terry was devoted to her career and strove to become a registered nurse; however, due to her illness (diabetes) she became blind.
This has never slowed her down; she lived life to the fullest!
Terry was very community minded and volunteered for C.N.I.B., United Way, Multi Folk Arts Council, Canadian Diabetes Association to name just a few. She enjoyed the many outings with the Alberta Sports & Recreation Association for the blind especially wiener roasts and bowling.
Her dedication, kindness and association with these organizations touched the lives of many people.
