WONG -- Mrs. Pearline Wong (nee Lyn), beloved wife of Mr. Edward Wong of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on December 29, 1997, after a short illness, at the age of 76 years. Pearline was born February 17, 1921 in Jamaica, West Indes. She immigrated to Miami, Florida and then settled in Calgary, Alberta. Besides her loving husband Edward Wong, Pearline is also survived by her children, Tony, Michael, Sonia (Chin), Wayne, and Helen (Fong); thirteen grandchildren and a great-grandchild; plus numerous family and friends in Canada, U.S.A. and Jamaica. ARCHAMBAULT -- Rita Arlene of Calgary, formerly of Blackie, Alta., passed away at the Bethany Care Centre, Calgary on January 1, 1998 at the age of 85 years. Rita is survived by her daughter Lorraine (Jim) Williscroft; and her son Stanley (Fran) Archmbault, all of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Rob, Michelle and Don, David, Gerald, Ken and Betty. She is also survived by five sisters and brothers. She was predeceased by her husband Eli on July 13, 1975. Rita and Eli operated Rita's Coffee Counter at Blackie from 1946 until 1974.
