Hollier, Louise M.

HOLLIER - Louise M. passed away peacefully in the company of her family on Jan 22, 2009 at the age of 56. Survived by her loving husband Kirk; sons Mark and Neil of Prince George; brothers James & William Farr of Victoria, BC; sister Katherine (Donald) Jackson of Abbotsford, BC. Predeceased by her parents Willam and Margueritte Farr. Graveside interment services will be held on Friday, Jan 30, 2009 at 3:00 pm from the Prince George City Cemetery with Marc Bock officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prince George Hospice Society or the Canadian Red Cross. Following the graveside service there will be a celebration of Life Party at Marc Bock's house at 1421 Paxton Ave, Prince George.

MAVIS ROBERTA KEARNS
(September 4, 1937 - January 24, 2009)

It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mavis Roberta Kearns. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kelly (Lawney) Chabot and Erin (Lee) Thomas; sons, Stewart, Rick (Carol) and Tom (Richelle); grandchildren, Mitchell, Cody, Jennifer, Kristen, Renee, Morgan and Haleigh; and sisters, Myra (Ralph) Jardine and Frances Digby. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Service and tea to honour her memory will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the Loyal Order of the Moose Hall, 663 Douglas Street, Prince George, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation to the charity of your choice. Assman's Dignity Memorial Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

Clarence Stanley Nelson
Oct. 7, 1932 to Jan 24, 2009

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our father. He passed away quietly at Simon Fraser Lodge after a lengthy illness. He'll be sadly missed, by family and friends. Predeceased by his father Fred, his mother Karen Wiffen nee Nelson, son Grant and wife Patricia. Survived by his daughters Diane (Malcolm) Sidney, BC, Allison (Allan) Langley, BC sons Dennis (Georgia) Prince George, Mark, Langley BC, Craig (Dorothy) Rosedale, BC daughter in law Lisa (Abbottsford). Grandchildren Sandra Lee, Christopher, Colin, Lindsay, Georgia, Samantha, Katie, Arnie, Craig and Graham. Great Grandchildren Rex and Titan. Stan was born in Bawlf, AB. moved to Vernon, BC grew up and as a young man joined the cadets. He became a truck driver, drove many years long haul and short haul. Stan enjoyed playing crib with his friend Bob. Many thanks to Dr. Fraser, the wonderful nurses & staff at P.G.R.H, Simon Fraser Lodge and Home Care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A come and go tea will be held in Stans honour on Friday January 30th between 1 pm and 4 pm at 3221 Riverview Road- North Nechako subdivision.

William "Bill" Friesen
January 30, 1937 - January 24, 2009

Bill passed away peacefully with his niece Valerie Friesen and best friend Gary Arlint by his side. Bill will also be greatly missed by his sisters; Tina Brown and Doris Klippenstein and their families also, brothers; Frank Friesen and Dyck Friesen and their families. There will be no service by request.

SWARD, William (Bill) Alexander
(1945 - 2009)

Bill was born in Smithers, BC in December 1945, and passed away in Osoyoos, BC on February 13, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents Al and Myrtle Sward. Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Charmaine, his devoted daughter Shay (Shawn) Findley, his two grandchildren Mason and Morgan, who were his pride and joy; his brother Ron (Lolita) Sward, and his sister Lynn (Joe) Zak. Also mourning his loss are extended family Martha (Colin), Paige and Josh Brownlee, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends. Bill, Charmaine and Shay lived in Prince George for most of his thirty-five year career with BC Rail. He then fulfilled his dream of living in a warm climate and moved to Osoyoos after he retired in 2005. Bill was a selfless, kind-hearted, and generous person who was always there to help anyone in need. He was a devoted husband and father, greatest papa, best brother and friend. The Keno and 649 will show a dramatic drop in sales! Play on, Bill! There will not be a service at Bill's request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Institute would be appreciated. Harder, Lawrence "Sonny"
July 2, 1931 - April 8, 2009

Sonny passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Jeannie in 2007 and his grandson Darren in 1991. Sonny is survived by his devoted children: Jim (Marie), Debbie (Bruce), Denise (Dave); grandchildren: Grant (Paige), Greg (Pip), Brent (Lia), Corri, James (Lindsay) & Kristina; great granddaughter: Emiri. Sonny will be missed by all who knew him and the stories will go on forever. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Assman's Funeral Chapel with Susan Scott officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rotary Hospice House. "Go In Peace Viking"

Katherine Buba

Katherine passed away peacefully at the Simon Fraser Lodge, May 5, 2008 at the age of 88. Coincidentally, her sister Eva also dieD on May 5, 2008 in Grimsby, Ontario. Katherine is survived by sons John (Mary), Steve, daughter Mary and sister Mary. She was predeceased by husband Andrew and son Bill. She will be sadly missed by her family and extended family including grandchildren Brenda (Dan), Larry (Sandy), Corrina (Brad), Michael, Lynette (James) and great grandchildren Dayna, Jordan, Jamie, Tyler, Nicole, Ashley, and Mason. A private service for the family will be held at the graveside on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11:00 am. Open house for friends and family to follow in the Gleason Room at the Coast Inn of the North, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Paul Berezowski
March 21, 1926 to January 17, 2009

Paul Berezowski passed away peacefully in hospital in Edmonton Alberta at the age of 82. Paul was predeceased by his parents Nickolas and Josephine, his brothers John, Pete and Nick, and sisters Mary, and Anna. He leaves to mourn his daughters Penny (Neil) Berezowski, Terry (Jim) Narraway, and son Glenn (Caroline) Berezowski, sisters Rose Brouillette, Elsie Gravel and Joyce Halverson. Paul will be fondly remembered by his 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, and was a favourite uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Paul left us with fond memories of his wonderful sense of humour and love of guitar, and country music festivals. Paul worked as a welder for most of his adult life and was widely respected in his field for many years. A service for Paul was held January 24, 2009 in Athabasca with interment to follow in June 2009 at the Athabasca Cemetery. During the last two years of his life Paul was the recipient of 76 transfusions, and his family will be forever in debt to the generous blood donors who gave him the gift of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's memory to The Canadian Blood Services.

Pritam Kaur Kullar
February 11th 2009

Pritam Kaur Kullar, wife of Late Chanan Singh Kullar, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving family on the morning of Wednesday, February 11th, 2009. A Mother and Grandmother that will be missed forever. Survived by her loving children: Baldev Kullar / wife Rajinder Kullar, Bhupinder Kullar / wife Jasbir Kullar, and Jaswinder Nerwal / husband Sital Nerwal. Grandchildren: Amritpal Kullar, Gurjit Kullar, Sarabjot Kullar, Inderjot Kullar, Harprit Nerwal, and Reena Nerwal. We would like to thank all family, friends, and medical/care personnel for their support, love, and comfort through this time. Funeral service will be held on February 14th, 2009, 10:00 am at Assman's Funeral Chapel. A prayer service will follow at the Guru Nanak Darbar Temple located on Davis Road.

ROBERT (BOB) G. FLEMING
February 13, 1941 - February 8, 2009

Bob passed away suddenly in Vancouver Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his family: mother Jean Fleming, sisters Patsy (Bob) Horning, Sylvia (Ralph) Fetterly, Ron (Brenda) Fleming. Predeceased by father George Fleming. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews and friends. Service and Tea at Hart Pioneer Senior Centre. February 27 at 3:00pm, Hart Highway. Donations to the Cancer Society.

Letitia M. Davidson

DAVIDSON - Letitia M. (Tish), left this world to take her seat with the lord on June 30th, 2002. Although she will be sadly missed by her family and friends, her thoughts and beliefs live on in the memories of all who had the pleasure of truly knowing her. Please join her daughter, Mary Scott (Jim) and her son, Pat Davidson (Marguerite) in remembering her passing and celebrating her time with us on this earth. Memorial Services will be held at Sacred heart Cathedral on Monday, July 8th at 10:00 am. Her final resting place will be with her late husband, Douglas R. Davidson in Prince George.

Murray passed away on February 8, 2009 at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his sons: Drew (Miranda) and Shawn; grandchildren: Avery and Reagan; brother: Keith; Sister: Patricia (Glen); nieces: Kelli and Kristy; nephew: Kurt (Nicole).
