DAVIS - Ronald Clive Gravnor. Passed away quietly at home July 3, 1997. He was born June 7, 1932. His memorial service will be held at St. Richards Anglican Church, 1398 West 15th Street, North Vancouver at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
May he find the peace in death
that he could not find in life.

DeDONA - Rino. Passed away at the Burnaby Hospital on July 6, 1997. Survived by his brother, Beniamino (Antonietta) and nephew Antonio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 11, 1997, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Edmund's Roman Catholic Church, 545 Mahon Ave., North Vancouver. Interment North Vancouver Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Burnaby Hospital Palliative Care Unit. First Memorial 980-3451

LUNDER - Jean Elsye passed away in the presence of her family on July 8, 1997 after a lengthy illness. Survived by her loving husband Jakob of 39 years. Jean will be sadly by her son Per (Kaarina) and daughter Kari (Daniel), Grandchildren Angus, Emma, and Arava and many friends who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held at at Hollyburn Funeral Home, 1807 Marine Dr., West Vancouver, B.C. on Monday, July 14, 1997 at 11:00am. A special Thank You to Dr. Leon Bard, Dr. Alistair Martin anmd Palliative Care staff and volunteers. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. PHYSICK - John (Jack) Roderick of North Vancouver, born August 26, 1927, passed away July 8, 1997. He will be sorely missed by his loving family. His wife Frances and their families: John and Susan Physick and their sons Mike and Kris; Craig and Stacey Physick and their daughter Amanda; Stephen Courtney; Mike and Cathie Mitchell and their children Matt and Claire; Brian and Chris Howard and their children Jenny and Tommy; Mike and Carrie MacGregor and their son Cameron.
Jack will be remembered for his generosity, kindness and giving nature to all he met. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Jack endeared himself to his many friends at the West Vancouver Senior Center and with his lawn bowling team. He will be greatly missed by them.
John's family invites his friends to join them for a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 12, 1997, at 12:00 p.m. at the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity.

AMENT - Roger died in an avalanche on Mt. Robson, July 9, 1997 at the age of 18. Will always be remembered as a special son, wonderful brother, loving grandson, nephew and cousin, caring friend, enthusiastic colleague, extreme alpinist and beautiful person. DOHERTY - David Michael John. Loved father and friend, died July 10, 1997 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 13, 1932 in Quebec City. The family resided in Pierrefonds, Quebec until 1979 then moved to North Vancouver. Jean, his wife of 39 years, died in 1994. Survived by his daughters Beverly (Ralph Adams) of Fredricton, NB; Jode (Bob Morgan) of Stuart Island, BC; Cyndi (Rob Gilfoil), and his companion Susan Brown of North Vancouver, BC.
Dave will also be forever remembered by his grandchildren Stephanie, Shannon, Ryan and Rachel; his mother Allyce; sisters Margaret, Elizabeth, Marylou, Ann, Carol, and brothers Bill, Phillip, Brian, Kevin, Michael and Stephen and their families. Predeceased by his brother Richard.
Dave had many friends and associates in Quebec, Montreal, Vancouver and at Scott Paper Ltd where he was Vice President, Consumer Sales until his retirement in 1992. After retiring, he enjoyed travelling abroad, golfing at Marine Drive and his ever popular fishing trips to Stuart Island. His myriad of friends will remember him with good memories of his jokes and fish stories.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their support during Dave's illness. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 1997 at St. Stephens Catholic Church on Mountain Highway, North Vancouver.

PERKINS - Edward. Born March 27, 1908 in Leeds, England. Passed away suddenly on Monday, July 7, 1997, in West Vancouver, B.C. Beloved husband of 62 years to Vera (nee Langton). Survived by his children Jacqueline Jacobs (John), Sorrento, B.C. and Paul Perkins (Judith), North Vancouver, B.C.; grandchildren Rick Jacobs and Mike Jacobs (Elena), Dawn Perkins and Chris Perkins; great-grandson Thyren Jacobs; brothers Syd (Ilene) and Bill (Molly), and his sister Edith Pace. HARVEY - Tricia, born in Cranbrook, on June 19, 1952. Passed away peacefully in her home in Cathedral City, CA on July 11, 1997 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Tricia leaves behind beloved husband Bob; daughter Celeste; grandson Stephen; mother Madeline; sisters Diana (Bill), Arlene, Coleen and Christina (Ted); nephews Clayton and Marty; and nieces Leah, Janine, Patty & Elizabeth. You are with God.

RIDDELL - William S. Born at Glasgow, Scotland on February 14, 1912. A former resident of Nanaimo, passed away at the Lions Gate Hospital on July 5, 1997. Predeceased by his granddaughter Gina in 1994. Survived by his wife Vera, daughters Barbara Hedberg (Alan) of North Vancouver and Lesley Sheppard of Surrey; grandchildren Rick Fabanello and Lisa Spaven of Nanaimo; great-grandchildren, Jodi, Cara and Dayton. BROWNLEE - Evelyn Margaret. Passed away on July 5, 1997. Evelyn was born at Vancouver in 1909 and was a resident of the North Shore since 1945. Predeceased by her husband Andrew in 1986 and by her brother Gordon in 1939. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Karen Millar (Bob) and Lynda Givens; nephews and nieces. HASTINGS - John Douglas (Jack). Born July 31, 1927. Passed away with his loved ones beside him on Saturday, July 5, 1997 in Lions Gate Hospital. Predeceased by his sister Audrey; survived by his loving, caring, devoted wife Jessie of 24 years. Will be sadly missed by his sons Randy (Debbie), Barry (Kathy), Steve (Shaunee), Gary (Gail); daughters Jan (Steve), Shari (Gord). Grandpa will be dearly missed by his 15 grandchildren who will always treasure their memories of him. Jack served for 30 years with the District of North Vancouver Fire Department. NEVEROSKI - Richard (Uncle Richie). Passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 1997. Born at Grand Forks, B.C. on July 3, 1942. Survived by his loving wife Marnie; extended family Erin, Chris, Alexis, Brody and Ellen; as well as his family, friends and co-workers. PRINGLE - Clarence Edwin. Born October 25, 1919, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 1997 in his 78th year. He will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Diane (Phillip) Chapman, his adoring grandchildren Lisa and Brent, and his beloved friend Grace. He is survived by his sister June Davidson, and brother Bill Pringle, both of Toronto. He was predeceased by his loving wife Aileen in 1990. Special thanks to the staff of the "Manor" at Inglewood Care Centre for all the loving care and attention given to Clare. WILSON - Donald Arthur, born October 9, 1927, passed away peacefully at home July 4, 1997 in North Vancouver, B.C. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Adeline (Linda), their children and their families, Elaine and Mike Whalley and their children Christopher and Sandra; Bruce and his wife Katherine and children Ashleah, Tyler, Donald and Alex; Kathryn and Eric Bozman and Rebecca, Owen and Jessica of North Vancouver, Judy and Paul Murphy and their son Nicholas of Gibsons; Douglas and Rosallie and their daughters Michelle and Julie Anne of White Rock; his mother Mrs Connie Swedberg of Langley. Mr Wilson was predeceased by his son James and his sister Shirley Kroh. He will be much missed by his brother Ronald of Courtenay and his sister Phyllis of Langley, and their families. Mr Wilson was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. The help and support of his many friends has been much appreciated. Funeral services will be at the Boal chapel at 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver, B.C. at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday July 8. Donations to the B.C. Heart and Lung Foundation would be appreciated.

WOLFE - Herbert James
December 18, 1919-June 19, 1997
Left behind to celebrate his life and remember Herb with love are his dear wife of 55 years, Joan, their children Lorna Lyons, Barbara Payne, Ron (Rosana) Wolfe, Glenn Wolfe, Doreen White (Bill Goetken), Gord (Barb) Wolfe, Les (Denise) Wolfe and their 13 grandchildren. Also left to remember Herb are his sister Verna Walsh of Victoria; brothers Bob Wolfe of Winnipeg and Tom (Helen) Wolfe of Vernon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many good friends.
After spending 20 years in Beaverlodge, Alberta, Herb moved his family to the Lower Mainland where he was the spirit and face of Hart's Cameras in Langley before retiring to West Vancouver in 1988.
It is with immense sorrow that we must let him go.
The family especially wishes to thank Susan Holtom, R.N. and Dr. Michael Knight.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. David's United Church, 1525 Taylor Way, West Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Home Care Nursing, 5th Floor, 132 West Esplanade, North Vancouver, B.C. V7M 1A2.
