"Our Mother Thelma must be an old name for everlasting love. Heart bursting wide open and spirit soaring. Sweetly as the perfectly petite form she came in with, she also left this life. A better place is this wounded world. No more gentle person could have walked these valleys. Planting sweet peas or picking fresh lilacs. Listening to Mario Lanza and singing to herself. Earthly Angel come to rest. Doodling cartoons before dancing to Elvis. Perfecting yoga poses on the living room floor. Wading in water only to her knees while holding onto one more blessed child. Sharing the turkey wish bone. Only speaking the best of everyone. Trusting the universe as her own. Knowing there is a higher place to finally find a home. Most wondrous woman we have ever known."
