Raymond Jonas Doerksen, 71, of Steinbach formerly of Kola, MB passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013.
He is survived by his wife Judy Doerksen (nee Friesen), three daughters, one son and their families; as well as four sisters, four brothers and their families. He was predeceased by one sister.
Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Friday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
The funeral service will be held at the Blumenort EMC Church on Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at the Blumenort EMC Cemetery.

Aurise Davis (nee Martel), 95, of the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home, formerly of Giroux, MB, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Victoria Hospital.
She is survived by two daughters, one son and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband James Wesley Davis in 2012.

MARIA (Mary) BOYCHUK (nee Persowich)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, Mary Boychuk, wife of the late Matt Boychuk, formally of Sundown, Mb. She passed away suddenly, Monday, June 24, 2013 in her residence at Shady Oaks Lodge in Vita, Mb.
Mary is survived by one son, George (Linda), one granddaughter Rhonda (Allen) Levenec and three great-grandchildren Danielle (Neil) Ivall, Derek (Ashlee) Levenec & Dannalee (Chris) Levenec. She also leaves to mourn sister-in-law Edna Boychuk and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband Matt in 2001, son Dennis in 1987, her brothers Bill, Peter, John and only sister Sophie.
Prayers will be on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 7:30 pm at the Vita Funeral Home in Vita, Mb. The Divine Liturgy will be on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Ascension of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sundown, Mb.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Mike Nazar passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital on June 24, 2013 at the age of 83.
He is survived by Helen, their sons: Brian (Lorna), Barry (Heidi), and Brad (Candice Bergenda); his grandchildren: Ryan (Lynette), Kyle, Tyler, Liam, Tristen, Hailey, and Harlee; great-grandchildren: Alexander and Katrina.

Julianna went home to her heavenly Father on June 26, 2013. Waiting in heaven to greet her are her first husband Alvin Reimer and her parents Harvey and Violet Reimer. Left to cherish her life are her husband Bill Baerbig, her children: Sheldon and Kim Reimer, Tim and Darlene Reimer and Theresa and Andrew Popowich; her grandchildren, her step daughters Heather and Scott Kulyk, and Nancy Baerbig; her brothers and sisters and their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Betty Jean Friesen Hoover (nee Werbelow) of Winnipeg, formerly of Steinbach, MB passed away at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
She is survived by four daughters, two sons and their families. She was predeceased by her first husband John Friesen, her second husband John Hoover, three brothers, three sisters, one grandson and one great-grandson.

Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Health Sciences Centre at age 75. He is survived by his children Anna (Steve), Wilfried (Charlene), Pauline (Daniel), Evelyn (Kenneth), Lena (Berry), Norman (Lorra), James (Jennifer), Elizabeth (Jonah) and Daniel and their families.

WALDO FUCHS
June 8, 1944 – June 28, 2013
Following a courageous battle with cancer, with beloved family members by his side, Waldo passed away peacefully on June 28, 2013 at the Ste. Anne Hospital. Waldo will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marjorie and her six children Marielle (Denis) Gauthier, Mariette (Greg Peters) Lambert, Beatrice Dueck, Adeline (Dan Potvin) Lambert, Collette (Ed) Unrau and Victor (Christina) Lambert, 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. He will also be remembered by his sisters Minnie Chomokovski, Viola Friesen, Marianne Begalke, and Helen (Jake) Woelke. Waldo was predeceased by his parents Annie and Emil Fuchs, brothers Abe, Leonard, Carl, and three brothers in infancy. He was also predeceased by his brothers-in-law Steve Chomokovski, Dick Friesen, Walter Begalke and son-in- law David Dueck.
In keeping with Waldo’s wishes, there will be no public funeral service. A private family service was held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, preceded by the interment of cremated remains at Grunthal Cemetery.

LEON DORNEZ
Léon Dornez of Saint Genevieve, MB, passed away peacefully on June 29. 2013 at the age of 85 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Yvonne (Godard) in 2001, an infant son, Joseph, in 1972, his parents, Théophile Dornez and Maria (Fiola), and seven brothers and sisters, Rosalie Ledet, Angeline Marcoux, Bernard, Marianne Ross, Délia Morin, Noélie Morin and Adrienne Saindon.
He leaves to mourn him, six children, their spouses, and thirteen grandchildren : Diane (Cameron), Danielle, Roxanne, Kristjan and Jonathan Laxdal; François (Estelle); Michel (Lise), Denis and Émilie Dornez; Jacques (Lynne), Chantale, Katrine and Eric Dornez; Marc (Joëlle), Colin, Nikita, Sylvie and Julien Dornez; Luc (Hélène). Also mourning him are a brother and three sisters : Jean, Élizabeth Ross, Marceline Beaulieu and Joséphine Lansard and his in-laws : Blandine Dornez, Léo Ross, Lucienne, Jules and Paul Godard.
Funeral mass in Saint Anne Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 4th at 10 am. Burial of the ashes will be at the Saint Genevieve Cemetery.

Edward Langlois, 72, of La Broquerie, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Bethesda Hospital, Steinbach, MB.
He is survived by his wife, Gisele, one daughter, one son and their families. He is also survived by one sister, one brother, and their families.
He was predeceased by one brother.
The memorial service for Edward will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at Christ Our Saviour Catholic Church, with interment at a later date.

Herman Henry Heinrichs - Peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2013, Herman went to be with his eternal Lord and Savior. He was predeceased by his wife Susie in 2008.

ROY McDOUGAL
Roy McDougal, 73, of Ste. Anne, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 30, at the Ste. Anne Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Sarah, two sons: Andy McDougal & his wife Rhonda & two children Gabriel & Gwendolyn; Scott McDougal & his children Jeremy, Kitana, Sydney, and Doug. He is also survived by his sister Irene and sister-in-law Emily McDougal.
Roy happily retired from MTS after 37 ½ years. After retiring in 1994, he and Sarah enjoyed many happy years spending time at the lake and proudly watching their grandchildren grow.
The memorial service will be held Friday, July 5, at 10:30 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with interment at a later date.
