Pauline MIKOLOFF
Peacefully on Monday, October 19, 1998 Pauline Mikoloff, beloved wife of Joe, passed away in Beausejour at the age of 87 years.
Pauline will be fondly remembered by her husband Joe, daughter Diana (Bob) Meyer of Beausejour; grandchildren Tracey Meyer, Kim (Brent) Paseska; and one great grandchild, Hope Paseska; sisters Carrie Mikoloff, Mary Glowaski and two brothers Walter and Nick Mazur.
She was predeceased by her son Eddie in August 1996; her brother Tony and sister Anne Boroskae of Winnipeg.
Born at home on her parent’s farm in Thalberg, Manitoba, on March 13, 1911, she married Joe Mikoloff on June 10, 1932 and they have shared over 66 years of sorrow and happiness, until her demise.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 22, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel with the Very Rev. Myron Poziak officiating.
Interment took place in the Beausejour Orthodox Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Saluk, George Towle, Mike Woligroski, Norman Mikoloff, Walter Mikoloff and Bob Meyer.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in Pauline’s memory may be made to the Beausejour District Hospital, Box 1690, Beausejour, Manitoba, R0E 0C0.

Hazel Mary BABISKY
Peacefully at her home, Hazel Mary Babisky, passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, October 21, 1998, at the age of 62 years.
Hazel will be sadly missed by her three sons, George of Winnipeg; Greg (Melodie) of Beausejour and Michael of Tyndall; seven grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her mother Mary Park of Winnipeg; four sisters, Margret (Alex) of Kaminstqui, Ontario, Shirly (Paul) of Selkirk; Marlyn (Tom) of Tyndall; Eileen of Winnipeg; three brothers, Johnny (Ethel) of Winnipeg, Bruce (Anna) of Edmonton, Alberta, and Ronnie of Winnipeg; her mother-in-law, Katie Gural of Winnipeg; also many nieces and nephews.
Hazel was predeceased by her husband George in 1997; her son Terry Todd in 1962 and her father John Park in 1988.
Hazel was born on May 16, 1936 in Dryden, Ontario.
She married George on June 30, 1956 and resided in Tyndall for 34 years.
Hazel was a loving proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Her love of crafts could be seen in the lovely quilts she knitted.
Funeral service was held on Monday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel.
Rev. Kelly Thompson officiated.
Interment followed to the Tyndall Cemetery.
Friends viewed at the Funeral Home on Sunday, between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. and at the Chapel prior to service.
Active pallbearers were Jonathan Babisky, Mark Mulla, Paul Mulla, Chuck Nickel, Tom Barnett, and Charlie Hewins.
Honorary Pallbearers were Ron Park and John Golembioski.

Raymond Stephen HLADY
The struggle is over for Raymond Stephen Hlady of Calgary, he passed away suddenly at the Foothills Hospital on Oct. 19, 1998 at the age of 41 years old after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
Ray was born April 22, 1957 in Beausejour, Manitoba.
Ray is survived by his two children - Dustin and Ashley,
mother and stepfather - Lea and Anne (Hlady) Meyer,
2 brothers - Larry and Dianne; Rick and Penny;
7 sisters and brothers-in-law - Joan and John, Betty and Rolf; Shirley and Ken, Rita, Lorraine and Wayne, Connie and Tom, and Laura,
numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Steve in 1968.
Funeral services were held at “Chapel of the Bells”, Calgary, Alberta on Friday, October 23, 1998.
