Marianne Margaret Naworynski
August 20, 1935 - January 28, 2005

On January 28, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer, Marianne Naworynski passed away peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre with her loving husband Gordon and daughter Andrea at her side.

Marianne will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 33 years, Gordon; daughter Andrea (Jeremy) Giesbrecht; grandchildren, Luke and Jamison. She will also be missed by her brothers, Allan (Millie), Edward (Anne) and Wayne (Wendy); sisters-in-law, Elsie, Grzenda (Joseph) and Gina Naworynski; brother-in-law Ken (Pat); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Frances; parents-in-law, Walter and Mary; brother-in-law Joey; and sister-in-law Adeline.

Marianne was born in Zbaraz, MB on August 20, 1935 where she spent her childhood. She then moved to Winnipeg to attend Kelvin High School. She then worked in the accounting offices of Prudential Life and several other companies. She married Gordon on October 14, 1972, first living in Toronto for two years. During which time their daughter Andrea was born. They then moved back to Winnipeg. Marianne was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her grandsons were the love of her life.

A memorial service will be celebrated at Glen Eden Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. Interment and reception will follow.

The family wish to acknowledge the excellent care that Marianne received from the nursing staff at the Riverview 3-E Palliative Care Centre.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Victoria Zakaluk
December 05, 1926 - November 01, 2004

Passed away on Monday, November 1, 2004, at Beausejour General Hospital, at the age of 77 years.

Predeceased by her parents, brothers Joe and Edward, sisters Helen, Mary and Caroline.

Victoria will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joe; children Craig and Bonnie (Ernie) Diplock; grandchildren Ian and Megan; brother Henry; sister Jessie; sister-in-law Frances Burkowski.

Prayers will take place on Friday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. also at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with Fr. James Gray officiating. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, with a reception to follow.

Cveta Krilic
November 26, 1931 - October 30, 2004

Cveta Krilic passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital on October 30, 2004 at the age of 72.

Cveta is survived by her daughter Kathy (Cliff) Dryden; son Frank (Gail) Lakatos; grandchildren; Brandi, Steven, Corey, Charles, Joshua, Chelsea and Kyle.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home with interment to follow.

The family would like to thank Ivan Rasic for helping Cveta and being a good friend to her and Trinity at Seven Oaks for helping us get through the last few difficult days.

She will be missed dearly and always be remembered and loved by her family all over the world.

We love you Mom and Grandma.

RAYMOND RUSSELL HOLBROOK June 2, 1915 - October 26, 2004 Raymond Holbrook beloved husband of Doris, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the Golden Door Personal Care Home. Raymond leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his wife Doris; his first wife, Edith; a daughter Myrna; a sister Esther; as well as two granddaughters and two great-children. He is also survived by his nieces Eloise, Olivia, Valerie and Lee along with numerous other relatives and old friends. Raymond was predeceased by his brothers, Ernie and Harry; and a sister, Lavonne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Raymond’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Winnipeg, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Mary Ann Martin (née MacDonald)

With great sadness, the family of Mary Ann Martin announces her passing at the Victoria General Hospital on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at the age of 80 years.

She leaves to mourn her husband Willmer (Bill); her son James (Shahda) and her daughter Barbara (Fred); her grandchildren, Michael, Sarah and Parisa;and her brother Alistair (Doreen).

Mary Ann was born in St. Vital where she attended elementary school and Glenlawn Collegiate. Mary led a happy and active life as a wife and mother.

She worked for many years in retail sales and as a volunteer teaching swimming to disabled children. Among her avid interests were bowling (Dakota Bowling League), cooking, and golfing. Mom was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren and continued to be supportive of every aspect of their lives. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank all the staff on the fifth floor of the Victoria General Hospital for their caring and compassion.

In her memory donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 18, at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St.

Joseph LeRoy Fulsher
November 02, 1918 - October 14, 2004

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph LeRoy (Roy) Fulsher.

Roy will be lovingly missed and forever cherished by his beloved wife of 64 years, Isabelle, his three sons and their families, Brian (Candy) children, Lee & Ross; Alan (Sandy) daughter Julie (Dan); Chris (Brenda) children, Danielle (Dan), Natalie, Amy, & Brooke.

Roy was predeceased by his son Kenneth, granddaughter Melissa, brother Fred and sister Evelyn.

Roy was born in Parkdale and grew up in Middlechurch, Man. On August 10, 1940 he married the love of his life, Isabelle Vandal. He served overseas as a navigator on heavy bombers. While completing a tour of operations he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. After returning from war in September, 1944 he began serving his community as Secretary-Treasurer for the R.M. of West St. Paul. His dedication to the community included extended service as fire chief, school trustee, curling club president, Legion president, Justice of the Peace & School Trustee.

After 30 years with the R.M. of West St. Paul he moved on to a position with the Department of Municipal Affairs for the Province of Manitoba and eventually retiring as Director of Municipal Services.

His pleasures in life, other than his family, included hunting, fishing, traveling, curling, golfing, and in particular, the family gatherings around the pool.

His family was the central focus of his boundless energy and he welcomed every opportunity to participate in their activities and enjoy their interests.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 17, at 2:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Private family interment at a later date.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Stella Wachal at Concordia Hospital on Thursday, October 14, 2004.

Stella was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Pewarchuk; sisters Rosie, Nettie, Anne; brothers Peter, John, Steve, Bill and Leon.

She is survived by her beloved husband Edward of 65 years; son Barry (Sylvia); daughter Marilyn (Brian) Wasney; grandchildren Rick, Dan, Teresa, Rob and David; great grandchildren Sarah, Elizabeth and Dilan, also her sister Mae (Bill) Shankie, and several nieces and nephews.

Stella was born in Winnipeg and was a long time resisent of East St. Paul, MB. She was devoted to her family and her grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, October 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, 264 Donwood Drive, with public viewing at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.

Pallberers will be Rick Wasney, Dan Wasney, Rob Wachal, David Wachal, Paul Hogan and Jamie Berzuk.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB., R3L-0K6.
