Frederick Jones

MR. FREDERICK JONES, of 1201 Rothesay Road Saint John, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on August 31, 2003 Born in Stanley, NB on April 29, 1927, he was the son of the late Matthew Jones and Louisa Jones.

He is survived by his beloved wife Joy E. (Rodgerson) Jones 2 daughters, Beverly Good and her husband James of Oromocto, Krista Sequeira and her husband Arron of Calgary, Alberta, 5 grandchildren, Carrie-Anne, Kristapher, Allyson, Aja and Kirin, his brother, Ralph, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Fred was predeceased by 4 sisters, Maude, Margaret, Jenny and Lena and by 4 brothers, Jim, Bill, Bert and Claire.

Fred was a member of the Local 213, Plumbers and Pipefitters, the Jarvis Bay Legion Branch # 53 and the Liars Club at the Mall. Prior to his retirement Fred worked 30 years for W. J. Crawford Plumbing and Heating. He was an avid dart player, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shuffle board trailering at the Bay. After his retirement he enjoyed playing golf.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at 2:00 pm. In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Kidney Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Ruthanne Lillian Worrall

The death of Mrs. Ruthanne Lillian Worrall, wife of the late William John (Jack) Worrall, occurred on Sunday August 31, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born November 13, 1943 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillian (Kennedy) McQueen. Ruthanne was a member of Garnett Settlement Christian Church, Garnett Settlement Ladies Guild, Choir Member and Sunday School Teacher.

She is survived by her son Andrew Worrall of Willow Grove, daughters Janet Worrall of Saint John, Rebecca (Becky) Worrall of Willow Grove and Kimberly (Troy) Stevens of Fredericton; three brothers; three sisters; two grandchildren Megan Worrall and Parker Stevens; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday September 2, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" on Wednesday September 3, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Fernhill Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to Child Find or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Tracey Lee Boudreau
And Baby Cayden

The death of Mrs. Tracey Lee (Richardson) Boudreau and her unborn child, Cayden, loving wife of Richard Boudreau, of Hampton, occurred tragically at home on Tuesday August 26, 2003. Born June 4, 1971, in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of Floyd and Joyce (Smith) Richardson, of Deer Island, NB. Besides her husband Richard, parents Floyd and Joyce, she is survived by her son, pride and joy, Devin Joseph, her brother Glen (Sherri-Lynn) Richardson of Saint John; sister Kelly (Mike) Laaper of Kingston Peninsula; nieces and nephews Kaitlyn, Matthew and Meaghan Laaper; and Courtney and Joshua Boudreau. She was predeceased by her grandparents Donald and Winifred (Tracey) Smith, and Albion and Helen (Haney) Richardson.

Tracey graduated from KV High School in 1989, and received her B.A. from the University of New Brunswick Saint John in 1996. She worked in the Human Resources Department for Irving Oil, and was a member of the Hampton United Church.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday August 28, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held from Hampton United Church on Friday August 29, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.

Nancy Ann Green

The death of Mrs. Nancy Ann Green, loving wife of Sutton Green, of Saint John, occurred on Thursday August 21, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

Born March 31, 1942 in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Eileen (LeBlanc) Marr. Besides her loving husband Sutton, she is survived by her son Dana Green of Calgary and daughter Kelly (John) Mason of Saint John; brother Eric (Mary) Marr of Rothesay; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, visitation will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Monday August 25, 2003 from 7-9 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Ronalda Jean Comeau

The Death of Ronalda Jean Comeau occurred unexpectedly at home on August 18th, 2003. Born September 4th, 1971 in Saint John, NB. she was the daughter of Jean (John) Mctague and the late Raymond Comeau.

She is survived by one son at home, Brandon; three brothers Raymond of Saint John, Ricky (Denise) of Rothesay and Sean (Violeta) of Saint John; two sisters Debbie (Sean) Bonner of Saint John and Sheila of Quispamsis; two stepbrothers, Mike and John Mctague; two stepsisters, Julie and Kelly Mctague and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Ronalda was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53, and was an avid dart player.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitation on Wednesday, 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Friday August 22nd, 2003 at 11am with Father Coyne celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations be made to the Charity of the donors choice.

Leonide Joseph Gallant

Canadian Flag The death of Mr. Leonide Joseph Gallant, loving husband of Rita Marie (Doiron), of Saint John, occurred on August 18, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 27, 1918, in Rosairville, NB he was the son of the late Dominique and Eulalie (Arseneault) Gallant.

Leonide worked as a Freight Handler for C.P.R retiring in 1983. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Rogersville. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and many sport activities. He was also the best Montreal Canadians Fan.

He is survived by his loving family, wife Rita Marie; son Gary (Debbie) Gallant of Saint John and their children Nicole and Lindsey; daughter Joanne (Mark) Braydon of Rothesay and their children Brett and Sean; daughter Karen (Kevin) Wilson of Saint John and their children Holly, Michelle and Jared; son Paul (Susan) Gallant of Hampton and their children Hayden and Connor; son Roger (Faith) Gallant of Saint John and their daughter Jessica; and son Robert (Lea) Gautreau of New Maryland and their children Melanie and Daniel; brother Antoine (Melina) Gallant of Saint John; sister Theresa Daigle of Moncton; sister in law Audrea Gallant of Shediac; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Romuade Gallant, Benoit Gallant, Amable Gallant, Francois Gallant and Theodore Gallant; sisters Anna Walker, Sophie McLean and Margaret Maillet.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424), with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim's Church on Thursday August 21, 2003 at 10a.m. Following cremation, a private family interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Joseph Omer Goguen

Canadian FlagThe death of Mr. Joseph Omer Goguen, loving husband of Doreen (Wallace) Goguen, of West Saint John, occurred on Saturday August 16, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Rogersville, NB he was the son of the late Oliver and Alice (Bernard) Goguen. Omer was a lifetime member of C.F.B. Gagetown W.O.'s and Sgt's Mess, retiring as a Warrant Officer after 28 years in 1990; he was a Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 69; Air Borne Association and the Denis Morris Community Centre.

He is survived by his loving wife Doreen, son Dwayne (Lynn) Goguen of Petawawa, Ontario; daughter Yvette Goguen (Jean-Claude) of Rusagonis, NB; four grandchildren Amanda, Anthony and Aimee Goguen and Lauren Simon; four brothers Francis (Bernice) Goguen of Saint John; Reginald (Rhona) Goguen of Saint John; Romeo (Patricia) Goguen of Richmond, BC and Rodrique (Sandra) of Winnipeg, MA; four sisters Leona (Eugene) LeBlanc of Rothesay; Geneva Richard of Calgary; Carmel Steen of Saint John; and Yolande (Tom) Mullin of Nerepis; two aunts Antonia Walker of Shediac and Elvina Goguen of Moncton; two uncles David (Rosalie) Goguen of Rogersville and Arthur (Connie) Goguen of Victoria, BC; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Francis.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Rose de Lima Church on Thursday August 21, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations made to the Palliative Care Unit or Oncology Unit Saint John Regional Hospital. A legion tribute to a veteran will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

Edith Annie Costello

Costello, Edith Annie- loving mother and dear friend to all those who knew her, died peacefully at the Kennebec Manor Nursing Home on Monday August 11, 2003. Born December 19, 1910 in Nottingham, England,

Edith moved to Saint John with her husband James after WWII. Edith will be fondly remembered by all those whose lives she touched with her compassionate heart, bright eyes, ready smile and contagious laughter. Edith was an avid reader and writer, who was always there for those in need.

Edith is survived by her three children James (Barbara), Gregory Vincent (Ann Marie) and Carol Casey; nine grandchildren Ann Marie, Christine, Kathy, Brian, Ian , David, Stephanie, Kristen and Gregory, as well as several great grandchildren.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel" on Thursday August 14, 2003 at 10 a.m. Following cremation, the interment will take place at a later date. The family would appreciate donations made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Raymond H. Clements

Clements, Raymond H.(Caveman), The Death of Raymond Clements, husband of Marcella (Tonge) occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday August 5th, 2003 born November 20th, 1951 in Saint John, NB. He was the son of the late David and Mary (Comeau) Clements.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne (Tanya) Tonge of Latimore Lake and Jason (Jennifer) Darby of Wedgeport NS. Three daughters, Tina (Dave), Katrina and Nadina all of Saint John, three grandchildren, Cory, Justin and Josh, four brothers, Richard (Donna) Clements of Dunnville Ont., Donald Clements of Yarmouth NS, David Clements of Dartmouth NS and Delbert (Cindy) Clements also of Yarmouth NS. Five sisters, Margaret Porter of Kelly’s Cove, Yarmouth NS, Lucille Murley of Etobicoke, Ont, Carolyn (Vernon) d’Entremont of West Pubnico, NS, Leona (Leaman) Brittan of Saulnierville, NS and Josephine (Mike) of Halifax, NS, Raymond was predeceased by a brother Theadore.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) with visitation on Friday August 8th, 2003 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm The funeral service will be held from the Fundy Funeral Home “Chapel” on Saturday August 9th, 2003 at 11am with Father Donald Breen officiating. The family would appreciate donations be made to the Charity of the donors choice. Interment will follow at a later date.

Gary Stewart

Stewart Gary, Passed away at the Queen Elizabeth II in Halifax, NS. On August 3rd, 2003, born in Saint John, NB. He was the son of the late Robert and Muriel (McAffee) Stewart. Gary was the husband of Dorothy (Flewelling).

He is survived by one son; Bruce and (Kim) of Saint John and one grandson Brady. Gary was predeceased by one sister; Shirley Stewart.

Under the arrangements of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424) At Gary’s request, cremation has taken place and the Memorial service will be held at the Fundy Funeral Home “Chapel” on Friday August 8th, 2003 at 2pm with Rev. Paul Stewart officiating. The family would appreciate donations be made to the donation of the donors choice. Interment will follow at the Garnett Settlement Cemetery following the memorial service.
