WHITE, ELIZABETH (BETTY) MAE
1927 - 2008

Elizabeth (Betty) Mae White (Williams), age 81, of 77 Gorge Road, died peacefully at her home on December 16th, 2008. Married to the late Eugene Kingston White, she was born in Saint John, and was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ella (nee Price) Williams. She resided in various places across Canada as a result of her husband's military postings, including residence in Riverview for many years. Elizabeth also lived in Fredericton for a number of years before taking up residence on the Gorge Road. Elizabeth was a registered nurse who trained at the Saint John General Hospital. She worked at the General after graduating, and then began her life as a military wife and a mother of six children. Betty and Eugene retired to Riverview in the 1970's. Elizabeth returned to nursing in 1976 and worked at the Jordan Memorial Hospital in Riverglade, NB. Survived by four daughters Elizabeth White and Shirley White (Ross) of Ottawa, ON, Heather White Gerhardt (Dave) of Moncton, and Judith White DeCoste (Gerard) of Fredericton; two sons James (Ruth) of Yarmouth, N.S and John (Brenda) of Summerside, PEI; dear grandmother to Melissa, Riel, Alison, Caitlin, Adrian, Andrew, Geoffrey, Joel, Jennifer, Colin, Simon, Ashley and Corbin; also missed by her twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild; her elder sister Ruth Browne of Milton, Ontario and her sister in-law Shirley White of Saint John, NB. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Jean and her brother Wilfred. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the many loving and skilled workers at 77 Gorge Road (ProTem) who made Betty's last days ones filled with dancing, singing and loving care. We are indebted to you all. We would also like to thank the many caregivers who assisted with her care during her residence in Fredericton. Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home (171 Lutz Street, Moncton) on Thursday, December 18th from 7:00-9:00PM. A funeral service for Elizabeth will be held on Friday, December 19th at 3:00 PM from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel, officiated by Reverend David Morehouse. There will be a reception following at the home of Heather and David Gerhardt. All are welcome. In Betty's memory, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home (171 Lutz Street, Moncton NB E1C 5E8. 506 857-8564)

GIONET

The death of Medar Eddy Gionet, loving husband of Beverly (Hughes) Gionet, of Fredericton (formally Saint John), occurred on December 16, 2008 at the Dr. Chalmers Hospital. Born July 30,1941 in Middle Caraquet, NB he was the son of the late Cesaire and Delima (Lanteigne) Gionet. Besides his wife Beverly he is survived by his son Lloyd Paul Gionet of Martinon; daughter Linda Gionet (Whitold) of Ottawa; step daughters Cynthia Boudreau (Kevin) of Fredericton and Sandra Lingley of Saint John; brother Delor Gionet (May) of Saint John; sister Frances Cormier (Joe) of Saint John; Three grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Medar will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. By request there will be no visitations. A Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday December 19, 2008 at 11 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Lung Cancer Society.

DOWLING, "CHICKIE" CHARLES DONALD
(April 11, 1945 - December 13, 2008)

Charles Donald Dowling passed away at his home with his wife Irene and daughter Ellen by his side. Chickie was raised by his grandparents, the late John and Ellen (Morgan) Dowling. He was predeceased by his son Charles Edward. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Irene, one daughter, three grandsons, brothers and sisters, mother-in-law, brothers and sisters-in -law, one aunt, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2 PM at The S.O.Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 to 2 PM. For those who wish remembrances to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Heart Fund, IWK Children's Hospital or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.

CONLEY, WILLIAM F. SR.

William F. Conley, Sr. at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB on Tuesday, December, 16th, 2008, William Franklin Conley Sr, husband of Mabel (Watson) Conley of St. Stephen. Born in Leonardville, NB he is the son of the late William Henry & Udavilla (Wallace) Conley. Surviving in addition to his wife Mabel are his two sons Glenn (Claudine) of Blacks Harbour, Bill Jr ( Kelly) of St. Stephen, one sister Genevieve Sellars of Pennfield, two grandchildren Krysten Justason and Jennifer Conley, two great grandchildren, Sean and Lauryn Justason, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers and six sisters. Resting at Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB (506 - 466 - 3110) from where the family will receive friends and relatives during a time of visitation on Thursday, December, 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Friends are welcomed to attend a graveside service on Friday, December 19th, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Blacks Harbour Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimers Society or Lincourt Manor would be appreciated by the family.

Aubrey Ross Trenholm
1915 - 2008

Aubrey Ross Trenholm of Sackville, NB and formerly of Fort Lawrence, NS passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 15, 2008 at the age of 93. Born in Fort Lawrence, NS, he was a son of the late Alfred and Helen (Atkinson) Trenholm. He is survived by his children, Phyllis Frick of Westlock, AB; Faye (Kenneth) Campbell of Riverview, NB; Eric (Heather) Trenholm of Warren, NS; and Karen Trenholm of London, ON; as well as by eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mr. Trenholm is also survived by one brother, Gerald (Mary) Trenholm of Amherst, NS; and 15 nieces and nephews. Mr. Trenholm was predeceased by his wife, F. Josephine (Somers) Trenholm, in 1994; his daughter, Anna Louise Trenholm, in 1980; as well as his brothers, Gordon (Margaret) and Carman (Phyllis); his sister, Frances (William) Glenwright; and his brother in law, Jack (Audrey) Somers. Mr. Trenholm was a farmer in Fort Lawrence all of his working life and well past the age at which most people retire. From 1970 until the farm was sold in 1999 he was in partnership with his son, Eric, in Laurentide Farms Ltd. Through much of his life, he contributed to his community through service on the School Board and as a 4-H Club Leader; to his Church (the Fort Lawrence United Church, and subsequently Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church in Amherst) through service on the Session and Church Board; and to his profession, through service on the Amherst Federation of Agriculture, the NS Federation of Agriculture, the Board of Scotsburn Cooperative Service Ltd. and the Nova Scotia Holstein Association. In earlier years, he was also an active member of the Amherst Curling Club. His remains are resting in Campbell's Funeral Home, 98 Church St., Amherst,NS (902-667-9906) with visiting on Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. from Campbell's Chapel with Rev. Susan Estabrooks officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot in the Fort Lawrence Cemetery in spring. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Trenholm's memory may be made to the Trinity-St. Stephen's United Church, Canadian Red Cross (Sackville Branch) or charity of your choice.

Adrice Joseph Goguen
(Retired CPR)

Peacefully at Ian Anderson House, Oakville on Monday, December 15, 2008 at age 83. Born in Cap Pele, December 5, 1925 to the late Edouard and Baselice Landry. Beloved husband for 57 years of Angela Gallant. Loving father of Diane Havlicek and her husband Jozef, Ray and his wife Doris and Ronnie and his wife Helen. Dear grandfather of Stefan, Jayson, Ronnie Jr., Adam, Jessica, Cameron and Candice. Survived by his brother Alderic of Victoria, BC and his sister Lorette of l'auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, New Brunswick. Predeceased by three brothers: Freddy, Ned, and Joseph and seven sisters: Alida, Pam, Yvonne, Sara, Doris, Irene, and Florine. Funeral service will be held at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (1 block E of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11 am with visitation beginning at 10 am. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Ian Anderson House.

MORRELL, DONALD WILLIAM
April 16, 1936 - June 24, 2009

The passing of Donald Morrell of Morrell Siding, NB occurred on June 24, 2009 by accident in Morrell Siding at the age of 73. Born in Morrell, NB on April 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Raymond and Geneva (Downing) Morrell. Don worked for 40 yrs for CP Rail retiring in 1996 as a Locomotive Engineer. Don leaves behind his sister Beatrice (Milford) McLaughlin of Morrell Siding, brother Carl (Greta) Morrell of Aroostook, sister Ruth (Victor) Everett of Aroostook, brother Wayne (Doris) Morrell of Montreal, sister Shirley (Gary) Price of Morrell Siding. Several nieces and nephews. Don loved spending time at his cottage on the Tobique. Resting at White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover with visiting hours on Friday June 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday June 27th at 11 am from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Aroostook with Father Gilbert Doddatto as Celebrant. Interment in the adjoining cemetery . Memorial donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. MORGAN, DOROTHY NADINE KATHERYN

Dorothy Nadine Katherine Morgan of Woodstock passed away at Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday, June 25, 2009, at the age of 99. Dorothy is survived by one step son Walter Morgan Jr. of Calgary Alberta; several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Rupert and Ruth (Young) Long; husband, Walter Morgan Sr.; Brother Gladwyn Young; two sisters Helen Crabbe and Pearl Lunn. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB , with visiting on Friday, June 26th, 2009 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 2 :00 pm. from The Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev.
