C. Warner Parker ST. STEPHEN, NB - At Charlotte County Hospital, St. Andrews, NB, Saturday, June 10, 2006, Warner Parker, of St. Andrews, NB, passed away after a lengthy illness. Survived by his wife, Thérèse (Terry) (St. Pierre) Parker; one sister, Faith (Robert) Bronson, of Cazenovia, New York; two sons, Donald of Montreal and Rick (Shelley Strauss) Parker, of Pensacola, Florida; one step-daughter, Diane (Paul) Raymond of Halifax, NS and one stepson, Pierre (Nicole Corthésy) Blondin of Longueuil, Quebec. No visitation will be held by request. Graveside Service will be held at the St. Andrews Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Andrews, NB on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 11am. Arrangements in care of The S.O. Mary D. Dryden The death of Mary Della (Beers) Dryden, the last surviving member of her immediate family, of Currie Avenue, wife of the late Roy A. Dryden, occurred on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Targetville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Phineas and Mary (Young) Beers. Mary was a member of All Saints Anglican Church and the Pythian Sisters. She is survived by son, Roy (Marion) of Moncton; two grandchildren, Cynthia (Andrew) Taylor and Susan Dryden; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Samantha; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by daughter, Theresa Marie; brothers, Aubrey and Robert; and sisters, Elizabeth, Jessie and Helen. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB.

Brian J. Ayles Brian J. Ayles, 43, of Moncton, passed away on arrival at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, June 10, 2006. Born in Moncton, Brian was the son of James and Marie (Edmonds) Ayles of Moncton. Brian was employed as an electrician with Roadways Systems Ltd., Moncton. In past years he enjoyed snowmobiling, and was a former member of Local Snowmobiling Clubs. Besides his parents, Brian will be sadly missed by his sister, Deborah LeBlanc (Jean-Denis), Riverview; brother, Kevin (Elaine), Saint John; goddaughter, Kyla Burnham. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, Monday, 7 to 9. Funeral service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, June 13, 2006, 11am, Rev. Harold MacDonald officiating. Reception following the service. Interment Five Points Cemetery. In Brian's memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated.

BRERETON, RANDY Passed away at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on June 9, 2006, at the age of 78. Beloved husband and best friend of Inez for 52 years. Cherished father of Tom, Doug, John, and Ted. Grandfather of Mike, Gordon, Derek, Kate, Lyndsay, Andrew, Calvin, and Eliana. Great grandfather of Gabriella "Gabby". Randy was a retired Canadian Tire dealer. He was an avid golfer and an active member of Misty Creek Country Club in Sarasota, Florida. He and Inez resided on Siesta Key, FL. for over 20 winters. His heart truly found a home on the beach. He also enjoyed his summer home on Lake Vernon just outside of Huntsville. Randy's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 12-12:45pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, ON, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Peel Halton Acquired Brain Injury Society (PHABIS) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home, 519-749-8467). He loved well and he was well loved. The family is at ease knowing that Grandma Dulake is ready and waiting to welcome Randy into her heavenly apartment. Visit for Randy's memorial.

O'BRIAIN, NIALL - Niall O'Briain was born in Dublin, Ireland on January 27th, 1935, son of the late Mr. Justice Barra O'Briain and Anna Flood. He spent his childhood between "Ard Mor" Killiney Co. Dublin and Ballycroy, Co. Mayo indulging in his 2 passions, fishing and tennis. After completing his studies he immigrated to Canada in 1957. It was in Hamilton that he met and married Frances O'Connell. They moved to Moncton for a brief time and eventually settled in Edmundston where he began and very successful career working for Fraser Inc, culminating in his appointment as President from 1985-94. He also served on the boards of Noranda Forest, Island Paper and served as Chairman of the Board of J.P. Levesques and Sons. He was involved in the Paper Industry Management Association and served at its President from 1983-84. A "Maritimer" to the end; he spent his retirement between Baker Lake and Edmundston, and holidayed with peacefully at home on June 10, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife Frances, his children Deirdre (Ken Kyle), Nora (Christopher Larocque), Kieran (Julie Gauvin) and Barra (Jessica Crawford), and his grandchildren: Liam, Declan, Ceire, Teaghan, Sasha, Rourke, Eibhlin, Carolyn, Justin, Shaelyn, Broghan, Niall, Maeve and Caitlin. He came from a large family and is survived by his sisters: Nora Lowe, Anna Coyle, Paitris McCabe, Fionnuala Walshe, Eibhlin O'Scollain and his brothers: Colm and Barra O'Briain. He is predeceased by his sisters Una Little, Bairbre Carton and Miriam Jenkins. Côté & Son Funeral Home , 160 Church St. Edmundston, NB E3V 1K2. The viewing will be from 2pm to 4pm And 7pm to 9pm in the evening Tuesday at 160 Church St., Edmundston. The funeral will be Wednesday June 14 in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral,Edmundston at 11am. Viewing will be from 9am to 11 am.

FLEMING, DOUGLAS W. - The sudden death of Douglas "Doug" Wallace Fleming, of Quispamsis, occurred Friday, June 9, 2006, in Edmonton, Alberta. Doug was born in Saint John, son of the late David and Beryl (Gibson) Fleming. Doug was a "company man", beginning a 44 year career with NB Tel in the mailroom and retiring as a taxation specialist. He was a proud lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He also owned and operated "Hard Time Candy", making barley toys, peppermint drops and humbugs. For the majority of his NB Tel career, Doug was an avid bowler, which led to his active participation in Big Brothers' Bowl for Kids fundraiser. His other interests included travel, cards, darts, reading, movies, and his latest passion golf. He was and is the beloved father of Cindy of Saint John, Stan of Edmonton, AB, and Greg (Janice) of Saint John. Poppa will be missed by grandchildren, Kristina, Michael, Kristie, Ryan and Melissa. Doug is also survived by his brother, Stanley (Carol) Fleming of Fergus, ON; his two sisters, Mary Lou (Robert) Dewar of Calgary, AB and Alice (Charles) Wachter of Millersville, MD; many nieces and nephews; former wife, Micheline Fleming and step-daughter Cindy (Jeff) Marriner of Ottawa ON. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth "Betty Lou" (Mabey); four brothers, Dick, George, Charlie, and Victor; and two sisters, Eleanor and Edith. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2006, from Portland United Church at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Ronald LeBlanc 1939 - 2006 Ronald LeBlanc, 66, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday, June 12th, 2006. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Lemable and the late Annie (née: Petitpas) LeBlanc. Since his retirement as a pipefitter with Gladstone Construction, he has operated a taxi with Air Cab. He was a parishioner of Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (née: Cormier-Thibeau); two daughters, Doris (Ronald LeBlanc) of Dieppe and Bernice (Mario) Laforest of Lakeside; one son, Camille (Joanne Kierstead) of Lakeside; six sisters, Aurella (Art) LeBlanc, Stella (Arman) Chase, Eva, Irène (Alonzo) Cormier, Millie (Edgar) Caissie and Mary; two brothers, Raymond and Paul (Alvina); six grandchildren, Isabelle, Daniel, Julien, Gabriel, Camille and Katlin; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. LeBlanc was predeceased by one daughter, Linda in 1967; six brothers, Terry, Bob, Emery, Leslie, Jerry and Harvey. Visitation will be held from Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901 on Friday, June 16th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be celebrated from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, June 17th, 2006 at 10am. Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium.

CAMPBELL, ALLEN (SOUPY) - Campbell, Allen (Soupy) of Saint John, NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, June 13th, 2006. Allen was born in Saint John, NB, on March 30th, 1954. Allen is survived by his wife and best-friend, Judy Beal; their son, Chippie at home; two sisters, Darlene Campbell of Saint John and Crystal (Peter) Dowd of Upham, NB; two brothers-in-law, Jimi of Saint John and Jackie of Montreal; nephews, Edward Sears and Michael Beal and a niece, Mary Beal; his mother, Connie (Richards) and his father, the late Willard Campbell. Allen belonged to the Carpenters Union Local # 1386. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB, (646-2424) By the families' request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2006 at 11am from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel". ROSS, VERNON EUGENE 'RED' - The death of Vernon Eugene Ross, husband of Ruth A. (Krieger) Ross, occurred on June 13, 2006, at his residence, the Kennebec Manor. He was born in Saint John and served during WW II with the Canadian Army, 3rd Army Signal Corps, landing in France on June 6th, 1944 returning to Canada in 1945. He was employed with various jobs before becoming partners with Forrester Green in the Red Green Exchange. He was a lifelong member of Trinity Anglican Church and was a member of the Riverside Golf and Country Club. An avid sports enthusiast he played handball and golf and enjoyed harness racing. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Susan Ross-Foster and her husband Jim of Oshawa, ON, his granddaughter Vanessa Menzies and her husband Brad and his 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Katherine and his 1st wife Grace (Ritchie) Ross. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:00 am, from Trinity Anglican Church. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Trinity Church Restoration Fund, Meals on Wheels or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
