Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Thursday, August 28, 2008 Carman Bishop age 81 years of Wesleyville.
Predeceased by his parents James and Edith Bishop; sisters Marion Bishop, Selma Stephens; brothers Eric, Gerald Thomas; brother-in-law James Wight. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his partner and best friend of 27 years Sheila and popís little angel Classy (puppy); daughter Lynn Hurd (Jeff) of Whitby, ON.; brother Ches (Phyllis) of Chamberlains, CBS.; sister Madeline Wight of St. Johnís; grandchildren Jillian and Brandon Hurd; several nieces, nephews and special nephew Doug Stephens; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
Funeral service to take place at Jubilee United Church on Monday, September 1, 2008 at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at The United Cemetery, Wesleyville.

Sheppard Annie Maud

Passed peacefully away at her residence on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 Annie Maud Sheppard age 90 years of Badger's Quay. Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove from where the funeral will take place on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 11 a.m.
Interment to follow at The Anglican Cemetery, Badger's Quay.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery Fund, Badger's Quay.

Winsor Mason Thomas

Winsor, Mason Thomas - (1925 - 2008) Long time partner of Thomas Winsor and Sons, Merchant Navy, Ships Officer, Fisheries & Oceans Canada.
Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL, August 20, 2008.
Thomas was predeceased by his son Edgar (1994); parents Thomas (Sr.) and Julia (Blackwood) and step-mother Annie (Hoyles); infant brother Douglas; brother Boyce; brother-in-law Harold Winsor and in-laws Edgar and Violet Winsor.
Left with loving memories are his wife and care giver Marie; three sons Frank (Louise), William (Lillian Maher) and Anthony; two daughters Gail, Jean (Anthony Edison); seven grandchildren and four special great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Also fondly remembered by Audrey (Bruce Gibbons) and family; daughter-in-law Patsy Winsor; sister-in-law Ruby Winsor; nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Resting at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
Visitation hours; Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will take place at the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville on Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Heather Sandford officiating.
Interment will follow at the Jubilee United Church Cemetery, Wesleyville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Nfld. & Labrador Lung association or the Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville.

Boland Dora Jane

Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on August 19, 2008 Dora Jane Boland Age 78 years of Indian Bay.
Predeceased by her parents; Llewellyn and Sadie Parsons, Brother; Eric Parsons, Great-grandson; Luke Glen Parsons.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband; Harry, 4 sons; Llewellyn (Marie) of Poolís Island, Scott (Barbara) of Goulds, Albert (Karen) of Sunnyside, Deon (Elizabeth) of St. Johnís, 2 daughters; Joan (Rangy Pearce) of Mount Pearl, Betty (Kevin Collins) of Indian Bay, 1 sister; Olive (Ralph Yetman) of Centreville, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Resting at St. Maryís Anglican Church, Indian Bay from where the funeral will take place on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Short officiating.
Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Indian Bay.

Passed peacefully away on February 3, 2009 at the Health Science Centre St. Johnís, Vera Attwood age 75 years of Badgerís Quay.
Predeceased by her husband; Maxwell, Parents; Joseph and Eliza Feltham, Sisters; Pearl and Annie, Brothers; Johnny, Fred, Cyril and great grandson; Nathan.
Leaving to mourn with beautiful and loving memories are her 4 sons; Kevin (Donna) of Brookfield, Dwight (Jo-Ann), Derrick (Collette), Andy all of Badgerís Quay,4 daughters; Lorraine (Walter Stokes) of Tumbler Ridge, B.C., Marilyn (Nathan Howell) of Badgerís Quay, Sharon (Edward Courtney) of Burgeo, Janice (Randy Humphries) of Badgerís Quay,3 sisters; Clara (Victor Stratton) of Gander, Bertha Hoskins of Gander, Mereda Sturge (Wilson Simms) of Badgerís Quay, 20 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service to take place on February 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Albanís Anglican Church, Badgerís Quay with Rev. Robin Trevors officiating.
Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Badgerís Quay.
