CHALMERS, Boyd - passed away peacefully at his home, with his family by his side, on Monday, September 15, 2008. Boyd Chalmers, 76 years of age, was the beloved husband of Marjorie (McClellan) Chalmers. He was the loving father of Paul Chalmers and his wife Pamela of Georgetown, Anne Martindale and her husband Carman of Tiverton, and Janet Stewart and her husband Peter of Oakville. Boyd was the dear grandfather of Harrison, Mitchell and Mackenzie Chalmers, Rebecca and Travis Martindale and Michael, Richard and Diane Stewart. Boyd will be missed by his brother, Allan Chalmers and his wife Elaine of Burlington and by his sister, Joyce Guilbault of Stittsville. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Guil. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 1 p.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family

WRIGHT, William Thomas - Suddenly, at home, on Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Tom Wright, age 41, was the beloved husband of Lynn (nee Ustation). He was the dear father of Stephanie, Darren and Devon. Tom was the beloved son of William Ernie Wright and Lorna Wright and was the step-son of Patricia Wright. He is survived by one brother, Greg and a nephew, Issac and by other family. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. Interment , Marymount cemetery , Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital, MRI and More Campaign would be appreciated by the family

ANDERSON, Isabella Winnifred (Wynne) - passed away at Malton Village, Mississauga, on Wednesday, August 20, 2008. Wynne (Brown) Anderson, in her 90th year, was the beloved wife of Norman H. Anderson. She was the dear mother of Glenn (Becky) Anderson, Susan (Todd) Driediger and Jane Shewman (Donald Bagg). Wynne is fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Melanie (Paul) St. Laurent, Janet Anderson (Jamie Merrit), David (Chrisy) Anderson, Suzanne Poole (Mike Weber), Chad (Heather) Shewman, Kim (Mike) Shier, Christopher (Lee Ann) Bagg, Anne (Brad) Duquette, Christina (Phil Hanna), Derek Pagnan and Erica Pagnan. She is survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Wynne is predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Pagnan and a grandson, Lawrence Anderson. A private Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Kirk Chapel, 99 Woolwich St., Guelph, on Monday, August 25, 2008. Interment , Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to St. George's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family

BOTTER-HENRY, Baby Noah - Peacefully at Guelph General Hospital, on Friday, July 25, 2008. Noah will be sadly missed by his loving parents, Richard Botter and Karen Henry. Dear brother of Ethan and Jaylynn Botter. Cherished grandson of Robert and Joanne Henry, Anthony and Sheila Botter, and Kim and Tim Sykes. Survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James the Apostle, 86 Glasgow St. N., Guelph, on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 7 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

CAZABON, Jill (Ausman) - Passed away, suddenly, at home on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, in her 47th year. Jill was the beloved wife of Rob Cazabon. Caring and loving mother of Jessica and Brian Simard, Christopher and Nicole Cazabon and step-mother to Erin and Eric Cazabon. Dear sister to Judy (Mike), Shannon (John), Mary (Dan), Paul (Denise), Joy (Chris) and the late Dan (2006) and his wife Caterina. Jill will forever be missed by her parents, John and Barb Ausman and her mother and father-in-law, Bob and Laura Cazabon. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, "Hart Chapel", 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where the family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 15, 2008 in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations on Jill's behalf can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the CNIB.

CHARRON, Richard – After a courageous battle with cancer, Rick passed away peacefully at the age of 56 with his family by his side at the Grand River Hospital on Sunday, August 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Anne Charron. Loving father of Michelle Blythe and her husband Dave, Leanne Sachs and her husband Travis. Loving son of Linda & Lewis Cosman. Proud and devoted “BaPa” of Jaimee and Andi Sachs, and Matthew Blythe. Dear brother of Dianne, David (Linda), Bryan (Jeanne) and Jeff (Teresa) and their families. Rick loved to golf, but more than anything loved to spend time with his “grandbabies” and his family and friends. We will miss him so much, however he will always be with us and in our hearts.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, "Hart Chapel" 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph where the family will recieve friends for memorial visitation on Friday August 15, 2008 from 5:30-7:30pm. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 7:30pm. COLLIER, Peter - Suddenly, on Saturday, August 9, 2008, in his 62nd year. Peter was the loving father of Tiffany Collier, Kirsten (John) Warner, Andrew (Sheena) Collier, and Phillip (Kristyn) Collier. Proud papa of Owen, Jackson, and James. Peter was looking forward to meeting his first granddaughter in November. Remembered by the mother of Peter's children, friend and former wife, Barbara (John) Kaszuba. Peter leaves behind his beloved Sue. He is also survived by his brothers, Michael and Douglas. Peter will be sadly missed by lifelong friends, Stan (Hazel) Fitzell and their sons, Mark and Ryan. ELWELL, Raymond - Peacefully at home, with his family at his side, on Thursday, July 31, 2008. Raymond Elwell, age 91 years, was the beloved husband of the late Marian (Walker) Elwell (2006). He was the loving father of Jennifer and her husband David Prescott of Guelph. Raymond was the proud grandfather of Michael Prescott and his wife Danielle of Toronto and Sarah and her husband James Golden of Wellesley, and great-grandfather of Morgan, William Leah, and Makayla. He was the dear brother of Vera Norris of England. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service for Raymond will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph. (Date and time to be announced at a later date). FELKER, Gladys Jean - passed away at the Guelph General Hospital, Guelph, on Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Gladys Jean (nee McTavish) Felker, in her 89th year, was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Felker (1967). She was the dear mother of Kurt Felker, Sharon Felker, and Heather Felker. Gladys was the loving grandmother of Jillian, Sean, Sarah, Randy, Krista, and Jennifer, and great-grandmother of six. She was the dear sister of Sister Bernita McTavish. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Catherine (nee Birmingham) McTavish, four brothers, Joe , Edgar, Alexander, and Gordon, and three sisters, Dorothy Gohl, Ethel Mewhiney, and Sister Vivian McTavish.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, August 14th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Gladys will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. The ashes will be interred at Woodawn cemetery , Guelph, at a later date. Father of Real "Ray" (Laurie) and Réjean "Reg" (Sharon). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Sasha Hill, Tammy Sheppard, Jodie Sheppard, Robert, Melanie, Jules and great-granddaughter, Natasha. HENRY, Michael Blair - August 29, 1930 - July 17, 2008. Michael Blair Henry passed away suddenly, at home in Guelph, the morning of Thursday, July 17, 2008, in his 78th year. Michael leaves Joy (Willis), his adoring, precious soul mate and wife of 52 years. He was a very loving and devoted father of Christopher, Peter and Blair (wife Judith). As a proud grandfather, he encouraged Robin and Willis to be the best. Michael will be fondly remembered for his unwavering support of friends and family. Predeceased by his brother, Paul, Michael leaves family in Toronto and area, Markdale, Chilliwack, B.C., and St. John's, Nfld. Born in Toronto to parents, Isabel and Ted Henry, Michael and Paul attended private schools throughout Canada, as sons of an Air Force officer. Settling in Toronto, Michael met, pursued and married Joy Willis on March 10, 1956. Michael began a career in financial services as a trader on the floor of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Transferred to Guelph in 1963 to build an investment business, Mike and Joy and the three boys moved into the house they built, and still call home today. His activities included coaching championship novice hockey teams, summers in Muskoka and ski trips with the family, while being a role model for many. In 1976, Michael left the investment business and accepted the position of General Manager of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce in order to promote the growth of industry and economic well-being of the community to which he had become so devoted. In 21 years of meritorious service, Michael received commendations from the City of Guelph, Ont. and Canadian Chambers of Commerce, and in 1992, he was conferred a Governor General's Medal for the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada, in recognition for significant contribution to "compatriots, community and to Canada." As a long-time member of Kiwanis and a dedicated Rotarian, Michael directed his energies to the enrichment of his community, friends and family. He was a regular volunteer with the Guelph General Hospital and Meals on Wheels, where he was often late because he took the time to visit with the people-in-need, who became friends. Michael and his comic wit will be missed by his many close friends, who have all been a wonderful support network for Joy and himself. On behalf of the family, thank you all for your kindness and your heartfelt support. Friends of the family are welcome to a visitation at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, Ont., NIH 4P3, Tuesday, July 22, 2008, 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 2 pm. at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ont., NIG 4X9. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's Health Care, 100 Westmount Rd., Guelph, Ont., NIH 5H8 or to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital, 115 Delhi St., Guelph, Ont. HESCH, Lori - October 12, 1962 - August 22, 2008. Passed away, peacefully at home. Lori (nee Damaren) Hesch, in her 46th year, was the beloved wife for 23 years of George (Butch) Hesch, Jr. She was the dear mother of Amber, Kelsey and Kaelyn. She was the dear daughter of Reta Damaren and the late Egidio (Jed) Damaren and the daughter-in-law of George Sr. and Betty Hesch. Lori was the dear sister of Ron (Sarah Gemin) Damaren, John (Tracey) Damaren and Diane (Paul) Carpe. She was the loving sister-in-law of Donna (Gary) Lizotte, Jennifer (Jeff Steinke) Hesch and Trevor Hesch. Lori was the special aunt of Kyle Speaker, Alysia and Nicole Carpe and Taylor and Brodie Damaren, Lori battled courageously with breast cancer for five years, during which time she worked on and completed a Master's degree in Social Work. Lori's compassion for children was demonstrated through her employment with Family and Children's Services of both the Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington County. Friends may call at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
