FINORO, Marisa (nee Caravaggio) - Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, May 8, 2009, at the age of 65. Beloved wife for 48 years of Enrico. Adored mother of Lucy and her husband Frank Mattucci, Mike and his wife Lina, and Carlo and his wife Amanda. Loving Ninni of John, Andrew, Alessandro, Molisia, Giordano, Davina, Mykayla, and Victoria. Dear sister of Domenico and his wife Anne, Lina and her husband Tomaso Veri, Gisetta and her husband Nino Francolini and the late Ferdinando and Renato. Sister-in-law of Gabriella and Elena Caravaggio, Arturo and his wife Natalina Finoro, Eraldo and his wife Maria Finoro, Erita and her husband Gabrielle Perfetti, Amalia Finoro, and the late Ernesto. Daughter of the late Ciro and Teresa Caravaggio and daughter-in-law of the late Alfredo and Lucia Finoro. Marisa will be sadly missed by her many relatives and friends.
A special thank you to Dr Mountjoy, Dr. Muhkerjee, Dr. Ryder, and all their staff, to Bayshore Nurses, and to CCAC for their care and support during Marisa's illness.
Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A vigil for Marisa will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009 at Church of Our Lady at 10 a.m. . Entombment at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount cemetery , Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Community Care Access Centre, Bayshore Nurses, or the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family

FODOR, Elizabeth -- Peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, October 13, 2005. Elizabeth (nee Bihari) Fodor, 80 years of age, was the beloved wife of John Fodor. She was the loving mother of Mary O'Brien and her husband John of Oakville and Steve Fodor and his wife Lisa of Guelph. Elizabeth was the loved Mama of Jennifer and Andrew O'Brien and Ashley and Bradley Fodor. She will be missed by her sister Mary Szakmari and by many relatives in Hungary. A private cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

FREY, Helen (Yarmey) - passed away peacefully, at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, on Monday, August 13, 2007. Helen (Keller) (Yarmey) Frey, in her 95th year, was the beloved wife of the late William Yarmey (1966) and the late Ernest Frey (1996). She was the loving mother of Dan Yarmey and his wife Judy of Guelph. Helen was the proud grandmother of Craig and his wife Elvira of Guelph, Linda Yarmey and her partner Omar Marin of Cloverdale, B.C. and Meagan of Toronto and great-grandmother of Victoria and Eric Yarmey and Mattias Marin. She is survived by her brother, Harry Keller and his wife Mary and by her sister, Gloria and her husband Douglas Garner. Helen is survived also by many nieces and nephews. Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home , Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Unicamp of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

GRANT, Ellen Grace (nee Hamilton) -- of Guelph, passed away, in her 78th year, at the Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener, on Friday November 25, 2005, with her family at her side. Ellen was the beloved wife of the late William Gordon Grant (1978), and the beloved daughter of the late Ted and Ruth (nee McCorquodale) Hamilton. She was the loved mother of Margaret (Bill), Edward (Kathie), Scott (Beth), William (Sandra), Patricia (Doug), and Christopher (Anna). Ellen was the loving grandmother of Tim, Naomi, Heather, Kayla, Colin, Jeremy, Andrew, Michelle, Christine, Casey, Nicole, Kelli, Ryan, Shana, Nick, and Erica, and the great-grandmother of Addison. She is survived by her dear sisters Ann Sims, Jean McDonald, Ida Merkley, Janet Kenny, and by her dear brother Ken Hamilton. Ellen was predeceased by a brother, Jim Hamilton.
Friends may call to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Monday, November 28, 2005, from 7-9 p.m., and on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. Interment , Woodlawn cemetery , Guelph, followed by a Reception at the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Freeport Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.

HOLLOWELL, Delores Marie -- At the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2005. Delores Marie (Ethier) Hollowell, born in Ottawa, ON, in 1921, was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Hollowell (1979). She was the loving mother of Carol and her husband Bart Brazil of Guelph and the late Bruce (2003). Delores was the loved mother-in-law of Sue Hollowell of Aylmer. She was the proud grandmother of Melissa, Melynda, Stephanie, David and Matthew. Delores was the dear sister of Lou Bender and Roger Ethier. Predeceased by her three brothers. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Delores will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Monday, November 28, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment Marymount cemetery , Guelph. KAMIENSKI, Wanda Michaline -- passed away peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, on Monday, December 5, 2005. Wanda Michaline (nee Czajczynski) Kamienski, in her 92nd year, was the beloved wife, for sixty-two years, of the late Dr. Miet Kamienski (February 14, 2005). She will be fondly remembered by her cousins in Guelph and her friends in Toronto. Wanda is predeceased by two sisters Aurelia and Sofia.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Boniface Catholic Church, 21 Markanna Dr., (Markham and Markanna) Scarborough, on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment , Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Scarborough.

KELEHER, Jean Catherine -- At Eden House Care Facility, on Friday, October 7, 2005. Jean C. (MacDonald) Keleher, in her 88th year, beloved wife of John W. Keleher for over 56 years. Dear mother of Robert (Bob) and his wife Diane; John and his wife Karen, all of Guelph and Mike and his wife Bonnie of Victoria, B.C. Loved Grandma of Ryan; Kate; Heather (Trevor); Daryl; Brent (Cheryl) and Cory. Dear sister of Issa Goetz and her husband Howie of Guelph; Al MacDonald and his wife Pat of Elmira; Gerty MacLean of Calgary; Rose MacIssac; Ella Brophy; Hilda Duff; Hank MacDonald; Clarence MacDonald and his wife Dora, all of Nova Scotia and the late John and Joseph MacDonald. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, DUBLIN CHAPEL, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph. (Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). He was the loving brother of George and his wife Julie of Fergus and the late Henry (1958). Matt was the dear brother-in-law of Verna Woynarski of Guelph. He was the dear uncle of Elizabeth, Carol Ann, Kenneth, George, Paul and Matthew. MACK, Donald - passed away peacefully, at home, on Sunday, September 21, 2008, in his 88th year. Donald was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Mary (1989) and two infant children. He was the loving father, mentor and business partner to Brian Mack. Survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, George and Jenny Mack; brothers, Gordon and Lloyd and survived by one brother, James Mack (Janice) of Wiarton, ON. MANSFIELD, Ronald Alfred -- Suddenly in Muncie, Indianna, USA on Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Ronald Alfred Mansfield, age 59 years was the beloved husband of Claire Mansfield of Paris for 38 Years. He was the loving father of Wendy Leighton and her husband Marcus of Guelph and Russell Mansfield and his wife Jennifer of Ayr. Ronald was the proud grandfather of Victoria, Michael, Daniel, Austin, and Emma.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2nd, from 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2005 followed by cremation.

Devoted father of Jennifer and her husband Jeff Hinch, Brandon and his wife Jessica and Shay Stewart. Loving grandfather of Jack and Max. Dear brother of Danny Martin and his wife Lois, Linda Martin, Nancy Martin and Larry Bannerman, Janette Lee and her husband Ron and families. Predeceased by his parents, George and Doris Martin. A heartfelt thanks to the Wettlaufer, Tantardini and Finamore families. Much gratitude to Bayshore Home Health, the staff at the Grand River Cancer Centre and to Dr. McCarron and Dr. Kumalo. Thank you Peter . You are a wonderful husband and father, and we are all better for having known you. You will always be loved and missed. Cremation has taken place. McKINLAY, Mac, KiwiMac, Dad, Grandpa, Gerald--
At Guelph General Hospital on Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, in my 62nd year!! "BLOODY H#LL!! P--- me off Folks!! I've finally checked out with destination unknown?! This follows 13+ years of numerous tedious long battles with non Hodgkins Lymphomia. I lost the war but with great help and support battled well. I will dearly miss 'TROUPER JEAN', my loving partner, best friend and a loyal battle scared ally. Thanks love! You kept me going Trouper! Very sadly, I leave loving daughter, Lisa; son-in-law, Mike Spadafore and delightful grandson, Mason. Also loving daughter, Erin and son-in-law, Derek Frook. We all have many fun memories to remember and enjoy. One of my many wishes for you all is to focus on those fun family times and duplicate them in your own way in the decades to follow.Thanks Joan for those two wonderful daughters. Surviving me in New Zealand are: Bruce and Eila McKinlay; my parents; sisters, Kay Claughton, Carole and Brian Winter; brother, Robert and many extended family members. Supporting me these past 38+ years (since 1967) in my adopted homeland Canada, were the Van Sickle Family - Joan, and since 1989 the Llewellyn Family - Jean. Thank you families. Your love and friendliness to this Kiwi English speaking immigrant was much appreciated and reciprocated. For 36 years I was an elementary educator with experience in New Zealand, Australia, British Columbia and Guelph and area. Some special folk need acknowledging with sincere thanks. They include: The Elora Medical staff and especially Dr. Allan Simpson, my physician and friend for over 30 years. At Hamilton Health Sciences, Henderson Site and the Juravinski Cancer Centre my Professor Hematologist, Dr. Ralph Meyer; nurse, Tracy Allan; nurse practitioner, Jane Garner and all the professional staff at Henderson's Ward 396. Also the Palliative Care Units at Groves Memorial Hospital and Guelph General Hospital. For all those people who donate blood anywhere - thank you! Thank you! And finally, YES!, the O.H.I.P. Health System. Together, I had an impressive support work team throughout the many battles this past 13+ years. Cremation has already taken place following my instructions. A non-service gathering/cailaigh for family and friends will be held at the Guelph Country Club on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tears forbidden! Smiles welcome! Laughter encouraged! Enjoy life folks!
