WHITELAW, Margaret E. - After a long illness bravely borne, Margaret E. Whitelaw (nee Wolfe) passed away, at her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, June 20, 2004, in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Vernon Whitelaw. Dear mother of Douglas and his wife Gloria, Joan and her husband John DeVries, Ron and his wife Heather, Stephen and his wife Laurie and Joyce and her husband Wayne Tyler. Sadly missed by 16 grandchildren; great-grandson, Tyson and sister, Myrna and her husband John Poole. Friends will be received at the Thomson & Collins Funeral Home, 160 St. David Street North, Fergus this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation again on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Central Pentecostal Church, 7674 Colborne Street, Elora (midway between Fergus and Elora) from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Rev. Don R. Rogers officiating. Interment Belsyde Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Bible Society would be appreciated by the family.

TURNBULL, William James - Of Brussels, passed away, at Huronlea Home for the Aged on Saturday, June 19, 2004. Bill was in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie (Baker) Turnbull. Dear father of Marion Uhler and her husband Ron of Burlington, Barb Fritz and her husband Jim of Brussels and Shirley Turnbull of Orillia. Dear brother of Dr. John Turnbull of Seaforth, Helen Habkirk of Ingersoll and Dorothy Lawless and husband Doug of Burlington. Also loved by his grandchildren, Tim Fritz and wife Lisa, Kim Strome and husband Ron, Steve Fritz, Greg Fritz and wife Jill, Patti Parnell and husband Jeff and Jeff Uhler and loving great-grandfather to Emma, Sarah, Abby, Daniel, Darian, Dustin and Luke. Predeceased by sister-in-law, Marion and brother-in-law, George. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) at the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Joan Golden of Brussels United Church officiating. Interment at Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Brussels United Church, Shiner's Hospitals or the charity of one's choice. A Masonic memorial service under the auspices of St. John's Lodge No. 284 A.F. & A.M. will be held Monday at 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

TULISALO, Elli Susanna - It is with profound sadness that Raimo (Ray) and Kaarina announce the passing of their beloved Aiti, Grandma and Mumma, on Saturday, June 19, 2004, at North Bay General Hospital, in her 100th year. She was the wife of the late Kosti Tulisalo (1950). Cherished Aiti of son Raimo and daughter Kaarina; loved grandma of Tina and James and treasured Mumma of Jessica. Predeceased by her daughter, Hilkka Susanna (1936) and in Finland by her parents, Herman and Susanna Niemi; her brothers Jussi, Jaska, Herman and Masa and her sisters, Maija and Alma. Her beloved sister, Senja passed away February 1, 2004, in New Jersey. She is also survived by her nephew, Jorma and his family in New Jersey and nieces, Kerttu and Hilkka and nephews, Eero, Lauri, Jorma and Mauno and their families in Finland. Special "Aiti" to Liisa, Russell, Jason, Sarah, Will, Abby, Betty, Pat, Anita, Dennis and Kelly. Lovingly remembered as "Mrs. T." and the "Cookie Lady" by Joan and her family in Rhode Island and by her friends in North Bay and Waterloo. Ray and Kaarina were truly blessed to have had such a wonderful mother who filled their lives with such deep abiding love and joy and who made them her "life's work". Elli's family and friends are invited to share in the celebration of her remarkable life with visitation at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from City Hall) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Elli's final journey "home" to Copper Cliff will be on Friday, June 25th for visitation at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church (12 Collins Drive) Copper Cliff, Ontario from 11:30 a.m. until time for services in the sanctuary at 1 p.m. A reception will be held in the Parish Hall following the service. Cremation to follow with burial in the family plot in the Park Lawn Cemetery, Sudbury at a later date. IRMA ERIKA TSCHIRSCHWITZ (nee Petri) 1926 - 2004 Passed away, peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, June 20, 2004, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Dieter; twin sister, Ilse Fedder, Gerda and husband Eugene Wohlgemut; brother, Hans and wife Renate Petri and sister-in-law, Emelie Petri. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and her family of St. John's. Predeceased by parents, Karl and Gertrude Petri and by a brother, Helmut. Friends are invited to share their memories of Irma with her family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Irma's life and faith will take place on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo with Rev. Doug Kranz and Rev. Stephen Weber officiating. A Reception will follow the graveside committal. STONER, Norman William - On Saturday, June 19, 2004, at the age of 66. Norm passed away, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in the loving embrace of his daughters, Noreen (Christopher Majek) of Edmonton, Alta., Lorna Lynch of Cambridge, Ont., Patricia (Paul Seraphim) of Ayr, Ont. and Sharon (Bob Sutherland) of St. Lazare, Que. Dearly loved 'Grandfather' will be missed by Brant, Tashina, Jaimi, Devin, Marissa, Cash, Jake, Colt and Liam. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends today (Monday) 7-9 p.m. The service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. RODRIGUEZ, Juan Vincente - Passed away, peacefully in his sleep, after a lengthy illness, Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Juan Rodriguez, 63 years of age, was the beloved husband of Maria (nee Abrantes) Rodriguez for 32 years. Dear father of Carlos, Andrea and Leo, all at home. Loving son of Obdulia Rodriguez in Spain and the late Jose. Dear brother of Maria and her husband Jose, Julia and husband Augustino and Jose Manuel and his wife Grizelda. Uncle of Jose and Rosa Maria. Juan will be missed by in-laws, Manuel and Lourdes, Antonio and Lourdes, Eugenio and Luzia and their families.Juan was employed at Waterloo Furniture Components, 1980 - 1994 until he was unable to work due to his illness.Juan's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 749-8467. SUSAN REHKOPF (nee Kroft) 1902 - 2004 Peacefully, at Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge on Saturday, June 19, 2004, three days following her 102nd birthday which was on June 17, 2004. Susan was a member for many years of St. Philip's Lutheran Church, Kitchener and more recently of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Cambridge. She had been a member of the "Wilson Parkway Club" and worked for many years at Newtex Cleaners. Beloved wife of the late Soloman Rehkopf who predeceased her in 1958. Loving mother of the late Harold "Pat" (1974) and the late Lloyd (1999). Cherished grandmother of Wayne Rehkopf (Patricia), Sharon Rehkopf and Sheila Bowman (David). Dear great-grandmother of Matthew, Jeremy (Ingrid), Heather and Laura and proud great-great grandmother of Kathryn and Ethan Rehkopf. Predeceased by two brothers and nine sisters. Twin-sister of Marjorie Johnson and sister of Eleanor Simpson, Doris Burton and Neil Conner. Predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Cora Conner and her son-in-law, Jim Dennison. Marion was a member of Palmerston EMC for 31 years. Dear grandfather of 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and predeceased by two great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late Mary and Robert Leader; dear brother of Harold (the late Audrey) of Guelph, Stanley (Lillian) also of Guelph and Violet (the late Harry) Rigby of Fergus. Predeceased by his brothers, Robert (Florence), Melvin, Theodore (Susie and formerly Mabel), Victor and his sisters, Adeline (Pat) Kostal, Alvena (Harold) McMillan, and Kathleen (Tom) Atkinson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
