TRAKALO, Gerald (Jerry) E. - At his residence, on Tuesday, July 20, 2004. Gerald Edward Trakalo aged 61 years. Loving husband to the former Heather McIntyre. Dear father to Danny of Whistler B.C. and David at home. Beloved son to Mrs. Wanda Trakalo of Waterloo. Sadly missed brother to Don and his wife Mary of Surrey B.C., Rosemary and Larry and his wife Yvonne, all of Kitchener. One grandson, Cody also survives. Predeceased by his father, Edward Trakalo in 1995 and one son in infancy. Jerry was a member of St. Boniface Church, Maryhill and was very active in his community. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St W., Kitchener on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 where parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Boniface Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Ronald Voisin officiating. Interment will be in the Drayton Cemetery and donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospital Cardiac Care Unit as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home

THIELE, Helen (nee Wickware) - Peacefully, on Tuesday July 20, 2004 age 85 years, a dear mother, grandmother, sister, friend and a great lady, passed away. She leaves behind her loving children, Iner Thiele and his wife Leslie and Paul Thiele and his wife Cindy. Helen was a wonderful and thoughtful grandmother over the years to Stephen, James, Melanie, John and Katie. She will be forever missed by her beloved sister, Wilma Brownlee. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Thiele. Her great joy in life's little pleasures lives on in anyone who crossed her path. The family received friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, Wednesday, July 21, 2004 from 7-9 p.m. An additional visitation will be held at the Northside Community Church, 55 Leonard St. Kitchener on Thursday, July 22, 2004 (today) from 2-3 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. Memorial donations to the Northside Community Church and to the Child Evangelism Fellowship Charity would be appreciated and may be placed by contacting the funeral home at 745-9495 or through 1057@alderwoods.com Thinking, remembering and never forgetting...

DEERING, John Alexander - At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in his 74th year. Born in Glace Bay, N.S. and resided in Cambridge since 1950. Beloved husband of Vera (nee Pink). Loving father of George (Nikki Veilleux) and John (Gale). John will be sadly missed by his five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brother, Ronald and his sisters, Margaret Lecreux and Myrtle Arsenault (Alset). Predeceased by his parents, George and Mary; brothers, Norman, George, Ivan and Michael and his sisters, Chris MacDonald, Georgina Hickey and Anne LeBlanc.Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 223 Main St. E., Cambridge (519-623-1290) for memorial visitation on Saturday, July 24, 2004 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. HENRY B. HEINRICHS
1948 - 2004
After a lengthy battle with Leukemia, Henry passed away surrounded by his wife, Patricia and their daughter, Becky, on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at the age of 56 years. Henry is survived by his daughter, Becky and her husband Matthew and by a grandson, Cole age 3 years and by his granddaughter, Elora, age 5 months. He is also survived by his parents, Phillip and Anne Heinrich and by his five siblings and their respective families. Henry retired in July 2003 from JM Schneider where he worked for 30 years. Through Henry's difficult journey, the family would like to thank Dr. Robert Stevens, Dr. Ronald Fowlis and Dr. Ross Kennel and the caring and loving staff of in - patient and out-patient oncology at Grand River Hospital. A special thank you to Shoppers Home Health Care for their constant support throughout these difficult times. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the Carmel Church, 40 Chapel Hill Drive, Kitchener with special music at 7:30 p.m. followed by the service at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the in-patient oncology at Grand River Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged through the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, at 745-8445

HENRY, Dora - Passed away, at Saugeen Village, Hanover, on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in her 94th year. Survived by her loving children, Marjorie and her husband Morley Tanner of RR 1, Elmwood, Betty and her husband Norman Borth of Walkerton and Tom Henry of Carrying Place. Dora will be fondly remembered by her sister, Vera McDonald of Ayr, as well as ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Stewart (1993); son, William (Red) Henry and sister, Carrie Chambers.Visitation at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton, on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton. Interment in Walkerton Cemetery.Memorial donations to Saugeen Village or Knox Presbyterian Memorial Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

McKEE, Ruth Allison (nee Lindsay) - Passed away, peacefully, on Friday, July 16, 2004 at Sunnyside Home. Mother of the late Robert (Bob) Kevan Lindsay (1984). Sister-in-law of Marion Lindsay of Emsdale. Dear friend of Art, Lois, Steve and Colin Hulks. Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Lotti Lindsay and brother, Roy Lindsay (2003). Visitation will take place from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2004 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener followed by a service in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Rene Alexander, chaplain of Sunnyside Home officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Sunnyside Home would be appreciated. Loving mother of Brad, Barry (Kathy) and Denise Sharpe, all of Kitchener. Proud grandmother of Griffin, Blain, Justine, Nathan, Kelsey and Kylie. CHERUBINO, Caterina (Meleca) - Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, in Siderno Marina, Italy, on Monday, June 28, 2004, at the age of 84 years.Beloved wife of Bruno Cherubino. Holding a special place in her heart were her grandchildren, Bruno Alessandro, Vincenzo, Daniele, Marisa and Joey, (Italy) Bruno A., Catherine, Anthony, Giulia, Louisa and Bruno C. Predeceased by two infant daughters, Fiorella and Margarita. Also predeceased by eight brothers and sisters. Caterina will always be remembered for her compassion and kindness and her ability to give so much to others. Predeceased by wife, Betty (McCann) MacDonald, and infant sons, Andrew Scott and Joseph Conn MacDonald. Survived by son, Alan; daughters, Sylvia (Harris MacKay), Cathy, Laura (Raphael Bello), and Cynthia; grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Alana, and Jesse MacKay, Ola, Abi, Rose, Remi, and Femi Bello. William will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jamie Keagan, Karen Ann Fry and her husband Craig, Robert Simmonds and his wife Angela Barnes-Simmonds, Sandra Simmonds, Deborah Woytta and her husband Joe, and William Simmonds as well as great-grandchildren, Cathy, Jocelyn, Alex, Logan, Emily, Trent, Rachel, and Paige. William was predeceased by his brothers, George and John.
