Suddenly, after a lengthy illness, in his 40th year.

Gabriel Jr., loving and devoted son of Gabriel and Rosalie Cicchi. Dearest grandson of Giuseppina and the late Ernesto Cicchi, Antonilia and the late Ottorino Gris. Dear brother of Deborah and her husband Luciano Cacioppo, Ernest Cicchi and his wife Felina, Peter John Cicchi and his wife Nina, Daniella and her husband Dennis Piccolotto. Adoring uncle of Angelica, Victoria, Aurora, Gabriel, Anthony and Ernie Jr. Dearest friend of Stephanie Chambers. Gabriel will be sadly missed by his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Wednesday 2-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Thursday 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Bill Lanza
July 21, 1947 - May 14, 2001

Suddenly, at his home on Monday, May 14, 2001 in his 54th year.

Bill Lanza, beloved husband and best friend of Judy (nee Treen). Devoted and loving father of Janelle Huffman, Jessie, Rosie and Angie. Adoring grandfather of Jordan and Madeline. Dear son of Mary and the late Alfonse Lanza. Son-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Carman Treen. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Alfonse and Rosalind, Lucille and Martyn, John Treen, Peter and Roxy Treen. Bill will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill was a music teacher with the Halton Separate School Board with over 25 years service and was a musician in Hamilton for many years.

Visitation at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Wednesday 7-9 p.m., Thursday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Thursday at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. "A man of many passions, he was devoted above all to his family and his music. His love, deep knowledge and mastery of the guitar were inspired and inspiring. Music was his gift and he passed it on to his children and shared it with many."

Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, May 30, 2001, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Maria (D’Ortenzio). Dearest father of Garry DiIorio and his wife Lori, Tony DiIorio and his wife Joann. Adoring Nonna to Stephanie, Michael, Chelsey, Tonya and Carla. Devoted son and son-in-law of the late Cosimo and Maria-Carmela DiIorio and the late Geremia and Almerinda D’Ortenzio. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Giuseppina and Antonio Manganiello, the late Giuseppe and Maria DiIorio, Ada and the late Bruno DiIorio, Rita and Gennaro Politano, Luigi and Rosalia D’Ortenzio, Chris and Reilde Monaco. Michele will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and his dog and faithful companion Blacky.

Special thank you to the nursing staff at the Hamilton General Hospital 8 South for their gentle care and support and thank you to Dr. R. Anastasio Jr. and staff. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Went to join her son Adam in heaven, in her 41st year. Beverley will be sadly missed by Robin and her children Justin, Alisha and their dog Mandy. Loving daughter of George and Mary Wynne and daughter of the late Wendy Wynne. Daughter-in-law of Bill and the late Gloria Emery. Loving granddaughter of Esther Wynne and the late George Wynne. Dear sister and sister-in-law of John, Theresa and Jim Duchesne, Paul Clayton and Sharon, Mike and Judy and Terry. Beverly will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbours.

Peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2001 at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Dear husband of the late Inez (DiFilippo).

Cherished father of Madeline and Joe Ricci, Linda and Peter Ferrie, and John with whom he resided. Dearly loved and devoted grandfather of Kara and Lino DiGennaro, Elyse and Tony Tassone, Marisa and Sean Davidson, Marc, Joel, Kristin, Ryan and Scott. A very special great grandfather to the light of his life, Alexa, and newly born Nicholas. Al will be sadly missed by his devoted brother Jack and Flo, sister-in-law Helen Moro, brother-in-law Philip and Pauline DiFilippo, sister-in-law Florence Krusto. Predeceased by his brothers Hugh, Lino, and sisters Lee Toppings and Elsie Males and also be his sisters-in-law Elsa Moro, Eva Roberts and brothers-in-law Matt Krusto, Anthony DiFilippo, Adam DiFilippo, Len Toppings and Bruce Males. Also left to mourn their beloved uncle are many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel 43 Barton Street E (near James) on Tuesday September 4, 2001 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be on Tuesday at (time to be added later). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John The Baptist Church (King and Edgemont) on Wednesday September 5th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

For those who wish so, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family is much comforted by and thankful for the exemplary and compassionate care that was shown by Dr. Joe McMullan and the nursing staff of both Cardiac Care and Intensive Care Units.

Dearest nephew of Frank and Raffalla Esposto, Vince and Connie Esposto, Gerry and Joe Vella, Luciano and Rosa Esposto, all of Hamilton, Fedele and Ingrid Leone of Germany, Calogero and Lina Macaluso, Angelo and Angela Messanna of Italy. Loving godson of Salvatore and Maria Mattina of Buffalo. He will be missed by many cousins in Hamilton, Germany and Italy. Peter was a Technical Consultant and Systems Engineer with Avaya of Canada.

Loving mother and mother-in-law to Calogero and Vincenza, Fillippo and Teresa, Carmelo and Marie, Carmela and Giuseppe Sardo, Concetta and Alfonso DiFiore, Raymond and Pat, and Josephine and John Stoddart. Loving nonna to thirteen grandchildren and bisnonna to six great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Maria and Calogero Morreale (Racalmuto). Predeceased by brother Giuseppe Digati and sisters Bartola Sardo, Giuseppina Grizzanti, Concetta Grillo, and Carmela Campanella. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Angela Agro. Survived by brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa 2 East.

Dear mother and mother-in-law of Maria Jose and Manuel Melo, Manuel and Sinelandia Botelho, Maria Neves and Benjamin Rebelo, Maria Lourdes and the late Joao Ponte. Loving Avao of seven grandchildren and loving Visavo of four great-grandchildren. Maria is survived by one brother Antonio in Terceira. Special thanks to Dr. Tsega and staff at the Henderson General Hospital and the staff of Grace Villa Nursing Home.

Loving sister and sister-in-law to Nelsina Strano of Torrington, Conn., Vittorio Bucci and Argia Corsini. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, USA and Italy.
