Jack Hammill Bradt
September 30, 1919 - February 11, 2001

Funeral arrangements by Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (Robinson Chapel)

Peacefully on February 11, 2001, Jack reunited with his beloved wife, Joyce Jenevieve, who passed away February 5th, 2000.

Loving father of Jacqueline Bradt and Daryl Bradt (Sheila). Proud pop of Corey Andrew Bradt. Also survived by mother-in-law Ann Miller- Hick, brother-in-law Larry Miller (Bonnie), nieces Cheryl Miller and Gail MacLellan (Peter).

Predeceased by granddaughter Genny Maybrey and his parents Reata and Earnest Bradt.

Jack was a familiar figure in the Durand Park area and will be remembered as always having a kind word for everyone he met on the street.

At Jack’s request, there will be no Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place.

The family wished to express their eternal gratitude to Margaret Coulter and the wonderful staff at Atrium Villa for their compassionate care of Jack in his final weeks.

March 31, 1942 - February 10, 2001

Suddenly at the McMaster University Medical Centre on February 10, 2001 in her 59th year.

Beloved wife of Jack Lafave. Loving mother of John Lafave (Brenda) and Mark Lafave. Dear grandmother of Joseph and Melissa. Dear sister to Sonny and Shirley Hammer and George and Patti Reis.

She will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lafave is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home “Robinson Chapel” King Street East at Wellingotn (905-522-2496) where the family will receive friends on Wednesday February 14th, 2001 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Robinson Chapel. Cremation.

John Wilfred Alec Williams
June 25, 1909 - February 11, 2001

Beloved husband of Vera Williams for over 54 years. Loving father of John T.L. Williams (Margaret) of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Paul W.S. Williams (Kay) of Goose Bay, Labrador, Mike A.B. Williams (Gwen) of St. John’s , Newfoundland, Camilla V.M. Williams of Guelph, Ontario, Yvonne M.Gazzard of Fort McMurray, Alberta and Mary E. Williams of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Caring grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear brother of R.S.J. Williams of Antigonish, Nova Scotia and Betty Davis of London, England.

Mr. Williams is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home “Robinson Chapel” (King Street East at Wellington 905-522-2496) where the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 14th 2001 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (Main Street at Sherman). Cremation will follow.

John Lewis Vaughan
January 6, 1932 - March 2, 2001

Suddenly on March 2, 2001 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Dianne for 40 years.

Loving father of John (Laurie), Jim , Frank (Reny), Ken, Beverly Anne (Peter). Loving Poppie to Keosha, Michelle and John Charles. Dear brother of Irene Wallace (Francis), Harrison Vaughan (Dora), Gerald Vaughan (Shirley) and the late Stan and Donald Vaughan. He will be sadly missed by many relatives and friends.

John retired from the International Labour Union Local 837 after 35 years of service as a construction worker.

Mr. Vaughan is at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home "ROBINSON CHAPEL" (King St. East at Wellington) where the family will receive friends on Monday From 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 6, 2001 at 11 a.m. from the Robinson Chapel. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Marilyn Downes (Littleboy)
October 24, 1935 - March 3, 2001

Suddenly on March 3, 2001 at the Hamilton General Hospital in her 66th year.

Beloved wife of Lionel for 44 years. Loving mother of Lynn McInnis (Rodney) and Lionel Downes Jr. (Lynn Pinder). Caring grandmother of Rebecca, Amanda, Matthew, Christopher, Jordan & Kennedy. Dear sister of Shirley Hind (Gary) and Brian Littleboy. She will be sadly missed by numerous relatives and friends.

Marilyn was a Leader in Girl Guiding for 43 years. She received the Ontario Award for Guiding and touched the lives of many Girls throughout her life time.

The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home "ROBINSON CHAPEL" (King Street East at Wellington) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph’s Church 260 Herkimer St. on Wednesday March 7, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Zeke Russell Riley
May 20, 1977 - March 7, 2001

George Wesley Rice

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, March 25, 2001 in his 76th year.

Predeceased by his wife Anita (2000). Cherished father of Dawn and Lance Woodworth and Richard and Monica Rice. Grampa will be greatly missed by Keegan and Cody Woodworth and Matthew, Brandon and Stephanie Rice.

His strength of character inspired us all to do our best and will be sorely missed.

The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN funeral home, ROBINSON CHAPEL (522-2496) on Thursday, March 29, 2001 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow with interment to take place at Woodland Cemetery on a later date. Donations to a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
