At London Health sciences Centre, University Campus on Tuesday July 31, 2001, Margaret May (McConnell) Cavanagh.

Wife of the late John Edward (Jack) Cavanagh. Beloved mother of Terry M. Heffernan. Grandmother of Mathew (Elaine) Heffernan and Laura (Ben) Bloemendal. Treasured great-grandmother of Jeremy, Joel, Jordan, Jessica, Jacob, Janessa, Kalyna, Jessie and Laurissa. Survived by four sisters and one brother. Loved by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at Westminster United Church, Thamesford on Friday August 3, 2001 at 11:00 am., Rev. Sarah Fanning officiating. Visitation in the church one hour prior. Interment Zion Hills Seventh-Line Cemetery.

A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Cavanagh.

The family would like to thank Irene Cooper RN and Cathy and Lindsay for looking after Margaret. Arrangements entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home.

Fred Barnes of London died peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Campus on Saturday, September 22nd, 2001 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Gloria (Howlett). Dear father of Dennis (Anita), Ron (Rebecca), Mike (Barb), Bill (Robin), Pete (Anne), Tim (Debora) and Joan (Stacy). Cherished grandfather of 13 children and 3 great grandchildren. At Fred’s request there will be no service.

Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be acknowledged by the family.

Andre E. Liessens passed away peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Friday, September 21, 2001 at the age of 57 years.

Beloved husband of Margaret Liessens (nee Dorry) for 35 years. Son of August and Lea Liessens, formerly of Chatham, Ontario.

Family will receive friends and relatives at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell) London from 7-9 p.m. Thursday September 27, 2001. Cremation has taken place.

Donations to the University Hospital Dialysis Unit or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, September 23, 2001 Iris Miller in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Kenneth Miller for 56 years (an English war bride). Loving mother of Kenneth, Dennis and his wife Sylvia, Sheila and her husband Jack and Sherry and her husband Bruce. Cherished grandmother of Valerie, Sean, Greg, Laura and David. Survived by her sisters Peggy (Don) Wingate, Susan (Tony) Burley and Brothers Bill (Pauline) Head and Ken (Joan) Head. Predeceased by her sisters Ann and Sheila.

A visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home (1559 Fanshawe Park Road East) on Tuesday, September 25th, 2001 from 12-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Beloved wife of the late Albert George McIntyre (March 2001). Dear mother of Kathleen Henricks and Brenda McIntyre. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Christopher Henricks, Tonia Crittenden, Edward McIntyre and her great grandchildren Wychita and Gracie Henricks, Savannah and Graeme Crittenden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 12th, 2001 at 11 am with visiting ˝ hour prior at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (east of Highbury). Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Leonard F. Hill
August 11, 1927 - October 5, 2001

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on October 5, 2001 Leonard Hill in his 75th year after a 6 month battle with cancer went to be with the Lord.

Beloved husband of the late Gloria Hill (Goodison) (1999). Loving father of Mark and his wife Lisa of Ajax.

Len will be missed by the many friends he made during his long career as a stationary engineer with 3M and all of the supportive church family at North Park Community Church where he was an adherent for many years.

Friends will be received at Memorial Funeral Home 1559 Fanshawe Park Road ( east of Highbury) on Tuesday October 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 10, 2001 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Siloam Cemetery.

Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre (790 Commissioners Rd., E. N6A 4L6) would be appreciated.

Loving mother of Donna Murray and Raymond Elkington and his wife Patricia. Cherished Nana of Andrea, Pamela, Amy and Sarah. She is survived by brothers Dr. Peter Gaskell and his wife Kae, John Gaskell and his wife Lyllas and Ron Gaskell and his wife Evelyn, and a sister Annie and her husband John.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Shuter and father-in-law Thomas Harrison.

On February 23, 2002 Adolf Knoblauch of Edmonton passed away at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his loving wife Birdie, two sons, Erwin and Roland; daughter, Michelle; grandchildren, Steven and Natalya; four brothers and two sisters in Germany; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Anton and Natalya Knoblauch, brother, Heinz, sister, Idilde in Germany.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sturgeon Memorial Funeral Chapel (5016-4/ Avenue) Bon Accord, where also Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. with Father David Brabant officiating.
