Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, February 25th, 2001, age 44 years.

Loving husband of Leanne Marie (nee Arno) Biskupowicz. Loved dad of Jason and Jackie. Beloved son of Tadeusz (Ted) and Stanislawa (Stella) Biskupowicz of Hamilton.

Dear brother of Jadwiga “Judy” Pietak and her husband Alex of Surrey, B.C. Dear uncle of Betty. Zig will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father and mother-in-law Jack and Lillian Arno, brother and sister-in-law John and Karen Arno, aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.

Zig was an active coach with Girls and Boys BASA Softball, Girls and Boys Hornets Basketball and was a Black Belt Instructor with Pearson Karate Dojo.

Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (1 stop light north of QEW ), Burlington (905-632-3333), Wednesday 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 1st, 2001 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre Foundation, 699 Concession Street, Hamilton, Ontario L8V 5C2, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Peacefully after a lengthy illness at home with his loving family at his side on Saturday, March 24, 2001 at age 37.

Special friend of Sylvain Dion. Loving father of Daniel of Newfoundland. Beloved son of Rennie and the late Helen of Newfoundland. Dear brother of Frank, Cyril, William, Jerry, Adrian, Michael, Steven, Robert all of Hamilton, Gordon and Shirley of Peterborough, Fabian and Rhonda, John and Jacueline, Annette and Raymond Kennedy, all of Newfoundland. Bryne will be sadly missed by his numerous family and friends, especially Gerard Valcour of Vermont.

Peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, October 03, 2001, Dorothy May Boss (nee Hill). Beloved wife of the late Norbert Boss (1998). Dear mother of King (Suzanne) Boss and Gerry (Margie) Boss all of London. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Kathy (Dave), Bill (Bev), Bob (Janet), Shelley (Harv) and Ryan, and seven great grandchildren. Sister of Keith (Mavis) Hill of Burlington and the late Sylvia Mennill.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home (1559 Fanshawe Park Road East) on Friday, October 5, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held half an hour prior to service. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

Tragically, as a result of an accident on Sunday, September 24, 2000, our little brown eyed girl passed away, at age 5.

Beloved daughter of Dineen and Duncan. Dear sister of Jeffery and Michael Campbell, Jaclyn and Liam Boucher.

Loving granddaughter of Elizabeth Boucher and Carol Richardson. Predeceased by grand-fathers William Boucher and Charles Richardson. Sarah will always be in the hearts of her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

On Thursday March 28, 2002 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. Mary Theresa (nee White) Boyd of St. Catharines in her 70th year. Beloved wife of the late Colin James Boyd (1973). Dear mother of Shirley Johnson, Danny Boyd and wife Mary, Fred Boyd, Violet Bye and husband Ken, Darlene Hagopian (Mike) and Colin Boyd, all of St. Catharines. Grandmother of Martin, Michelle, Jason, Lisa, Amanda, Shawna, Sammy, Corey and Chantelle. Great grandmother of Jassica Clyde and Gage Burton.

Family will receive friends at the Patrick J. Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court Street (Downtown), on Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Monday April 1, 2002 at twelve o’clock. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Always thinking of others first, even until the end of her life, Allegrina passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, March 22, 2002 in her 71st year. Devoted and caring wife of Francesco for 50 years. Loving and wonderful mother to Joyce and Ugo Filice, Jean and Carlo DeLuca. Nurturing nonna to her 5 grandchildren who meant the world to her, Daniel, Deanna, David, Andrea and Nicholas. Dear sister-in-law of Paolo and Anna Bozzo. Caring sister of Emilio and Enrico DeCarolis. She will always be remembered by her many in-laws in Donnici, Italy, nieces, nephews and cousins from Canada, USA and Italy.

Visitation will be held at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East, (near James) on Sunday from 5-9 p.m. and Monday from 5-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church 19 Viewpoint at Mountain Park on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre or Villa Italia would be appreciated. Special thanks to all of you who provided support and compassion in the care of our mother.

Peacefully, at the Dundas Retirement Place, on Tuesday, October 10, 2000, in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Charles of Dundas. Daughter of the late Lt. Col. E. Arthur and Carrie (Bragg). Predeceased by her brother Frederick Arthur Steer of Toronto.

Loving mother of Carol Snell and her husband Len of Waterdown, the late Sylvia M. Rennie of Ancaster and Joan Wallace and her husband Bruce of Ancaster. Loving Gran of Jeff, Brad, Pam, Ian, Peter and Alex Wallace; Cynthia, Elisabeth and Bryn Rennie; Heather, Dave, Kathy and Robin Snell and 21 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a longtime member of St. James' Anglican Church, Dundas and was active with several Women's Groups.

Friends will be received by the family Friday afternoon and evening from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Cattel, Eaton & Chambers Funeral Home, 53 Main Street, Dundas. The Funeral Service will take place Saturday morning, October 14, at St. James' Anglican Church, 137 Melville Street, Dundas, at 11 o'clock. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.

Memorial donations to the Memorial Fund at St. James' Church, the Hamilton and District Ostomy Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Jean "Lockhart" Brooks

Passed away peacefully with dignity and with her family at her side, on Saturday, July 7, 2001, in her 83rd year. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond Brooks.

She loved and will be missed by her six children and their partners: Vicky & Peter Dekker of Kentville, NS; Ted & Judy Brooks of Comox, BC; Jeffrey Brooks & Barbara Tolloczko of Montreal; Nancy & Barry Lesser of Aylesford, NS; Peggy & Pierre Legault of Dorval; Jennifer & James Ramsay of Atlanta, GA; also, 21 grandchildren: Kenneth (Allison) Dekker, Steven Dekker; Jim, Crista (Peter Nagy), Allan & Elizabeth Brooks; Jonathan (Annie), Jesse & Prin Brooks; Eric, Kevin & Brian Lesser; Matt, Genny, Jessica, Marie-Anne, Clara & Jeremie Legault; Allie, Paul & George Ramsay; and great granddaughter Ruby Yee-Brooks.

The family wishes to thank all of her friends and the wonderful doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of the Oncology and Palliative Care Departments of St Mary’s Hospital for the care, love and compassion they showed Jean during the past two years. Thank you also to all who helped us care for her at home.

Visitation will be Monday, July 9 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Armstrong, 1640 Cote Vertu, St-Laurent, (514-331-1104) and one hour prior to the funeral service at St. Andrews Norwood United Church. The funeral will be on Tuesday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at St. Andrews Norwood United Church 1600 De L’eglise, St. Laurent. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary’s Oncology Clinic would be welcomed.
