VAUTOUR, Lally Elizabeth - Has gone to be with her Lord and Saviour and her two infant angels in heaven, on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Guelph General Hospital. Lally Elizabeth (Kearns) Vautour, in her 80th year, beloved wife of Joseph L. Vautour of Guelph. Loving mother of Sharon Anne and her husband Eric Sherban and Daniel Vautour and his wife Mary, all of Guelph. Loved grandmother of six grandchildren, Gary, Christopher, Joseph, Danielle-Marie, Laura and Ann; dear sister of Gerladine Phelan of Whitby. Predeceased by two infants, Bernard Frances and Mary Loretta. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntrye & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Lally will be held on Friday evening at 8:15 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Marymount cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Joseph's Health Care Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

KAETHLER, Frieda (Neumann) - passed away peacefully, June 9, 2002, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, at the age of 81, in the presence of her beloved husband, Kurt, following a stroke on June 1, 2002. Frieda was born in the Ukraine in 1921. She was the eldest of eight children, four of whom passed away from childhood diseases, her younger brother, Erich died accidentally in a farm accident at the age of 23. Survived by brother, Artur and sister, Irma, both residing in Germany. In 1939 she married Kurt and had four children, the youngest of which Erika died in Poland in January 1944. The Second World War separated her from her husband. As a refugee she brought her three surviving children to Germany and then to Canada in 1948. She settled in Kitchener and rediscovered her husband's whereabouts in 1956 upon his release from a Russian Prisoner-of-War Camp. In 1965 she was reunited with her husband after numerous emmigration applications. Her rich life is remembered by her children, Nick and June, Ernie and Margaret, Bill and Eleanor Kaethler; as well as seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, for visitation on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. Interment at Memory Gardens on Thursday at 11 a.m. Memorial service at Kitchener Mennonite Brethren Church on Ottawa Street at 2 p.m. Reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairview Mennonite Home or Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) would be gratefully acknowledged. Frieda and Kurt praise God for the privilege of assisting more than 65 close relatives in emmigration from the USSR to Germany.

PENSTONE, Mary Josephine - On Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Guelph. Wife of Michael (deceased). Mother of Michael, Thomas, Peter, Margaret and mother-in-law to Doris, Fern and Heather. Sister of Elizabeth Walker and the late Anne Grimley. Grandmother of Andrew, Daniel, Cameron, Stephen, Laura, Colin, Jeffrey and Claire. TATTON, Verna - At Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, on Sunday, June 9, 2002, Verna (Rognvaldson) Tatton, of Mount Forest, formerly of Acton, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Jack Tatton; dear mother of Brett and his wife Donna of Port Elgin, Peter and his wife Kirsten of Innisfil and Craig and his wife Kelly of Acton; grandmother of Sara Sweeting of Toronto, Kristen Guthrie of Innisfil, Madeline and Kezia Tatton of Port Elgin and Trevlyn and Kent Tatton of Acton; sister of Jack Rognvaldson and his wife Louisette of Elliot Lake and sister-in-law of Richard Tatton and his wife Ruth of Courtney, B.C. and Peg Allen and her husband Tom of Toronto. Friends may call at the Hendrick Funeral Home, Mount Forest today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 12 at 11 a.m. Interment at Fairview cemetery , Acton on Wednesday at 3 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary Service will be held today (Monday) at 6:45 p.m. and an Eastern Star Service will be held on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

PILON, Mireille - A longtime former resident of Guelph, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy period with Alzheimer's disease in Repentigny, Quebec, on Saturday, May 18, 2002. Mireille (Lafleche) Pilon in her 77th year, was the loving mother of Marie-Andree and her friend Chris of Montreal, Quebec, Pierre and his wife Kathy of Smith Falls, Richard and his friend Janus of Eden Mills and Dominique and her husband Rob Wildeboer of Burlington. Mireille was a caring grandmother of Genevieve, Marjolaine, Jessie, Danielle, Thomas, Steven, Rowen and Emily. Visitation and funeral were held in Repentigny, Quebec. Interment of Ashes to take place in St. Telesphore, Quebec at a later date. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society in her remembrance.

BOUCHER, Lois (nee Burke) - Peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, May 22, 2002. Lois Boucher, at the age of 72, beloved wife of Lloyd Boucher of Guelph. Loving mother of Patricia (Peter Remillard), Nancy (Raymond Conley) and the late Kathleen (George Gamble). Survived by five grandchildren, Meghan, Kristen, Evan, Liam and James. Dear sister of Robert Burke and Patricia Fraser. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 25, 2002 at Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. BAKKER, Gerda (nee van den Boom) - Passed away, suddenly, at her cottage in Belwood, on Tuesday, May 28, 2002, in her 71st year. Sadly missed by her husband, Tony Bakker, of 49 years. Mom will be missed by Jack Bakker and his wife Cheryl of Elora, Shirley Obergan and her husband Maurice of Ariss, Anne von Holstein and her husband Mike of Elora and Jerry Bakker of Ariss. Grandma will be remembered by Melissa, Erica, Amanda, Nick, Scott and Jason. Also missed by her brothers, Harry and Gerard of Holland, James of Oakville and her sisters, Wilhelmien Leyen of Arthur and Ann McCarron of Acton. Predeceased by her parents; her brothers, John, Martin, Ted and Tony and her sister, Nelly Dortmans. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. DRAVES, Jean Frances (Jeannie) - Passed away, on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, age 50 years. Dear daughter of Simon and Frances Reinhart of Guelph; beloved wife of Bryon Draves; loving mother of Christine Moser and her husband Paul of Kitchener; dear grandmother of Caitlin and Julia; dear sister of Tom of Conestogo, Jim and his wife Rose of Ariss, Carl and his wife Debbie and David and his wife Mary Lynn, all of Guelph and Mary Mitchell and her husband Daniel of Maryhill. Also survived by her mother-in-law, Ruby Draves of St. Jacobs; her brother-in-law, Wayne and his wife Jean of St. Clements; many nieces and nephews and uncles and aunts. Predeceased by an infant brother, Joseph Reinhart. Jeannie was an active member of the Conestogo Golf and Country Club and was a former ladies club champion. Jeannie's family will receive friends at the Edward R. GALE, Audrey A. - At Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur, on Monday, June 10, 2002, Audrey (Bell) Gale, at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill Gale (1979). Loved mother of Bill Gale (Judy) of Guelph, Norman Gale (Susan) of Elora, Maureen Cook (Paul) of Guelph and the late Stephen (1989). Loving grandmother of Richard, Stephen and Peter. Dear sister of Norman Bell (Rose) of Guelph and Marjorie Pullen of Toronto. Predeceased by her many brothers and sisters. Audrey will never be forgotten by those many foster children she cared for. Dear brother of Gordon Hunter of Kitchener, Violet Schwandt and friend Jim of Owen Sound and Alton Hunter and Elaine of Lion's Head. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Eleanor and Livio Botter and Lillian Campagnolo, all of Guelph. Orlando, in his 73rd year, was the treasured heart of his wife, Angela (Morgese) Orlando of Guelph. Cherished father of Annemarie Barker and her husband Ted of London; Sister Barbara Marie of the Euchrist OCD, Carmel of St. Joseph, St. Agatha, Catherine Nicholls of Hamilton and Frank Orlando and his wife Lee of Dartmouth, N.S. Grandpa of Michael, Elizabeth, Amanda, Matthew and Emily; loving son-in-law of Rosa diBenga and the late Michael diBenga of Toronto. Frank was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Drum and Bugle Corp, St. Mary's Parish, Bathurst St., Toronto, a member of the Royal City Musical Productions (RCMP) and a member of the Royal City Ambassadors Barbershop Singers in Guelph. Cremation has taken place.
