HERSEY, Lloyd Raymond - passed away suddenly, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Wednesday, June 19, 2002. Lloyd Raymond Hersey, in his 53rd year was the loving husband of Carole. He is survived by his two daughters, Terry Lynn Pettit and Christine and Rob Vlasman. Papa will be sadly missed by his precious granddaughter, Emily. Lloyd was the loving son of Lloyd and Shirley Hersey and he was the dear brother of Christine Brown, Janet Drake, Randy Hersey and Kimberly Roadknight. A Memorial Service will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at 1 p.m. Pastor David Ralph officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.

WOODDISSE, Keith - Of Drayton, passed away, peacefully, at Palmerston District Hospital, on Thursday, June 20, 2002, in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Doris Wooddisse (nee Oxby) for over 53 years. Adored by his family, David Wooddisse of Moorefield, Ron and Mary Ellen Wooddisse of Palmerston, Donna and David Whittaker of Gowanstown, Paul and Joanne Wooddisse of Brampton, Janet Wooddisse of Hamilton, Arlene and Claude Heroux of Palmerston and Richard and Janette Wooddisse of Moorefield. Treasured by his grandchildren, Ryan and Rory Wooddisse; Rhonda Wooddisse, Trish and her husband Steve Kelly and Joshua Wooddisse, Nicole and her husband Rob Lemaitre and Nadia and Jamie Whittaker, Tara and Tyler Wooddisse, Chantal and Chad Heroux and Jennifer and Laura Wooddisse. Dear brother of Eileen Faulkner of Listowel, Gwen Stanners and her friend Ken Morgan of Glen Allen, June and her husband Hugh MacDonald of Mildmay, Lois and her husband Ralph Geil of Huntsville and Darlene and her husband Eddie Silagy of Barrie. Predeceased by his parents, Richard and Effa (McNeil) Wooddisse; one grandson, Nicholas Keith Wooddisse in infancy; three brothers-in-law, Russell Faulkner, Andy Staners and Jack Mitchell. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton, on Saturday, June 22, 2002 (today) from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Rev. Jeff McCracken will conduct the funeral service in the Drayton United Church, on Monday, June 24, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment Bethesda cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Drayton United Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

SMALL, Anthony Norman - In his 75th year, passed away, at home, with his family at his side, on Friday, June 28, 2002. Anthony N. Small will be greatly missed by his cherished wife and friend of 53 years, Marie (Smart) Small; his children, Susan (Don), David and his wife Alba and Christopher, all of Guelph. Dearest Pampy will be sadly missed by his two grandsons, Brandon Anthony and Ethan. Survived by his brother, Harold and wife Irene; his nephew, Michael and his wife Susan and their family, all of Guelph. Predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth (1983) and father, Alex (1965). Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 262 Dublin St. N., Guelph where the family will receive friends today (Saturday) and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Church of Our Lady on Monday, July 1, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment, Marymount cemetery , Guelph. A Vigil for Anthony will take place on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Elizabeth Health Care or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.

MCLEOD, Donald Wilbert - Peacefully, at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, on Sunday, June 30, 2002. Donald Wilbert, in his 69th year, was the son of the late Gladys and Wilbert McLeod; brother of Patricia Holmes and her husband William of Fergus and Kenneth McLeod and his wife Carol of Guelph. Also survived by his nieces, Tricia and Lynn-Ann and by his nephews, Christopher and Shawn. Predeceased by his nephew, Ronald McLeod. Donald received his education at Sacred Heart School and Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute. He had been employed most of his years in the construction industry and had a love of books and photography. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., on Thursday, July 4, 2002 at 10 a.m. followed by interment of cremated remains in his mother's plot at Woodlawn cemetery , Guelph. Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph.

LIBBY, Beatrice Lillian (nee Harris) - Peacefully, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur, on Thursday, July 4, 2002, in her 93rd year. Dear mother of the Reverend Barbara Pettit and her husband John of Fergus; grandmother of Andrew Pettit and his wife Susan of Hamilton and Heather Tinker and her husband Simon of Burlington; great-grandmother of Turner, Erin and Megan Pettit and James, Adam and Blake Tinker. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Harris of London, Ont. and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Fredrick, William, Nelson, Harold and Charles Harris and sister, Ruth Hannan. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Saturday, July 6, 2002 from 10 a.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., the Reverend Canon Trudy Lebans officiating. THOMPSON, Christina Elizabeth - passed away peacefully at the The Elliott Home, Guelph, on Monday, July 8, 2002. Christina (Heron) Thompson, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Walter Hulme (1944) and the late Robert Thompson (1973). Dear mother of Walter Hulme and his wife Betty Jean of Elliot Lake. Step-mother to Darlene Cook (Ernie) of Kitchener and Shirley Wiehagen (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Deborah Kind (Mark), Cheryl Dietrich (Tom), Heather Santamaria (Lou) and Brad Hulme (Leanne Wood). Loving great-grandmother of Courtney, Benjamin, Amanda and Spencer Kind; Adam, Sarah and Andrew Dietrich; Brendan and MacKenzie Hulme; Alexander, Vanessa, Nicole and Stephanie Santamaria and Tabitha Schields. She will be sadly missed by her sister Olive Lawrence of Guelph and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her niece Susan Lawrence-White and nephew John Lawrence. Christina was a former Elder of Chalmers United Church and a member of the 55+ Club of the Salvation Army. Sadly missed by her nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Adele Schon of Germany. McKENNA, Diana - Suddenly, on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, in Kitchener. Diana McKenna of Kitchener, formerly of Fergus, age 27 years. Beloved daughter of Joe and Barb McKenna of Fergus; dearest sister of Paul of Houston, Texas; loved granddaughter of Lori Lloyd of Fergus; dear niece of Bruce and his wife Mary, Gary and his wife Suzy, Rick and his wife Janet, Terry, Neil and his wife Mary, Tim and Mary Keddie and her husband Ron. Diana was loved by a close network of special friends and Diana and her family are truly thankful for all the support over the years. The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus, from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday). COOPER, Vera Irene (nee Sheehy) - It is with great sadness that the family of Vera Cooper of Guelph announce her passing, on Sunday, July 14, 2002, with her family by her side, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, after a long illness. Loving wife and best friend of Derek Cooper and cherished mother of David and Maureen, Mike and Dalma and Julie. Proud grandmother of Aidan and Sadie. Much loved sister of Patricia Goetz of Guelph, Gertie Ellis of Mount Forest, Wilma and Jim Grasley of Fergus and Dolores and Ted Tyler of Acton. Fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, Jean and Dorothy Sheehy of Guelph and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Mildred Schmidt; her brothers, Jack and Edward Sheehy; her nieces, Sandra McNaught and Karen Barber and by her brothers-in-law, Francis Ellis and Ed Goetz. Daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret Sheehy. Vera was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Church CWL.
