INGLIS, John Russell - Suddenly, at his residence in Guelph on Saturday, August 31, 2002, Russell Inglis beloved husband of Edith (Coverdale). Russell, in his 83rd year, passed away following his labour of love, crafting in his workshop. Russ will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edith of 62 years. Loving father of Eileen and John Cockburn, Florence and Bruce Peer, Larry and Mary Jane Inglis, Ron and Pam Inglis and Bob and Barb Inglis; proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his sister, Clara Allison and sisters-in-law, Audrey Inglis and Dorothy Inglis. Predeceased by brothers, Jim, Eddie, George, Andrew, Douglas and Charles and sisters, Margaret Small, Charlotte Fatt and Inez Benham. The family will receive friends at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday). Funeral service will be held at Duff's Presbyterian Church, Puslinch, Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Marty Molengraaf officiating. Interment Crown cemetery , Puslinch. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated. GREEN, Kenneth Stuart - Of Guelph, passed away suddenly, at the Guelph General Hospital, Sunday September 1, 2002.Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Henderson); loving father of Bonnie(Glen) Hammond of Guelph; loved son of Peggy Green and the late Gordon Green; dear brother of Richard Green, Anne Green and Nancy (Dennis) Hertz, all of Guelph and Douglas Green of Woodstock. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Ken's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Kay officiating. BELCASTRO, Giacomo - Peacefully surrounded by his family, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Saturday, August 31, 2002. Giacomo Belcastro, in his 77th year, was the beloved husband of the late Vittoria (Anselmini) Belcastro (1997). Loving father of Michael and his wife Carolyn, Attilio and his wife Brenda, Marina and her husband Salvatore Fonte, Frank, Salvatore and his wife Cathy, Cathy and her husband Bruno Ceccato, Marisa and her husband Norm Kassian, Angelina and her husband John Saretta, Natalina and her husband Peter Curtis and Titina and her husband Richard Polo. Loving Nonno to 23 grandchildren. Dear son of the late Marina and Michele Belcastro and son-in-law of the late Caterina and Attilio Anselmini. Predeceased by two brothers, Mico and Frank and by one sister, Angela. Survived by his brother, George and by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law to the Anselmini family. Giacomo was a longtime employee of the City of Guelph Waterworks Department. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends today (Tuesday) and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Giacomo will be held on Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., on Thursday, September 5, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount cemetery , Guelph. PATTERSON, Norman John - The family of Norm Patterson sadly announces his sudden and unexpected passing, at Guelph General Hospital, on Monday, Sept. 2, 2002, at age 51. Norman John Patterson, loved and missed by his dear wife Debbie (Ziegler) and loving children, Nicholas, Stephanie and her friend Trevor Lockyer and Ashley. Dear son of Norma and the late Tom Patterson of Guelph and son-in-law of Iris Ziegler of Elliot Lake; brother of Ethel and Paul Wetlaufer of Guelph and Rosemary and Angelo Marchesano of Guelph and brother-in-law of Marion and John Mochrie of Guelph and Clark and Ruth Ziegler of Fergus. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Norm will be remembered by the community for his barn building and general contracting and especially for his loyalty to his friends and family. Friends were received at the Blue Springs Funeral Home, Acton, Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be in the funeral home chapel, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002 (today) at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.

HORNEY, Dr. Frederick Donald (Don) DVM, VSC '51 - Passed away, peacefully, after a valiant struggle with cancer, Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at his home and in the hearts and arms of the ones he loved most. Dearly beloved husband and soulmate of Shirley (nee Disher); loved father of Debra (Mark) Kaye of Ottawa, Jan (John) Hazlett of London, Barbara (Carl) Arnold of Prince Edward Island, Sandra (Stuart) Bailey of Barrie and Nancy (Craig) Fisher of Georgetown; "Papa-D" to ten cherished grandchildren; dear brother of Roy (Mary) Horney of Toronto, Shirley Mullane of Ridgeway, Bob (Carol) Horney of British Columbia, Joanne (Bill) Kavanaugh of Ridgeway and the late Ernest Horney. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Don was a professor of large animal surgery for forty years at the Ontario Veterinary College; a longstanding member of the Guelph-Wellington Men's Club, a charter member of Trinity United Church and an active member of the Guelph Prayer Breakfast Group. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph Sunday (2-4 & 7-9). Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at 12 noon. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau. KLEIN, Leonard Joseph "Joe" - Passed away, at Guelph General Hospital, Guelph, on Thursday, November 14, 2002, at 89 years of age. Joe Klein was the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Hawkins) Klein and he was the treasured father of Jo Ann Hayter of Elora, Victoria Tammemage (Peeter) of Toronto and Pegi Klein-Webber (Greg) of Kitchener. Joe was the loving grandfather of Simon, Devon, Jake, Emily and Sarah. He is survived by sisters, Mary Heeg (Joe) of Mississauga, Irene Tarbell, Marguerite Buck and Pauline Klein, all of Guelph and Betty Freeman of Ottawa, Ill. Joe was the brother-in-law of Paddy and Andy Andreliunas of Royalston, Mass., Mary Theresa and Dudley Jaques of Grand Bend, Jack and Alice Hawkins of Tillsonburg, Bill and Sheila Hawkins of Vancouver. Ian McVicar, Lois Klein and Marie Klein, all of Guelph. He was predeceased by his sister, Beatrice McVicar and by his brothers, Wilfred, Leo, Russel and his wife Eleanor and Jerome, all late of Guelph and by brothers-in-law, Len Buck, late of Guelph and Gord Tarbell, late of Tennessee. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Joseph will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Monday, November 18, 2002, at 10 a.m. Interment Marymount cemetery , Guelph. FYFE, Daryl Craig - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear son, brother, uncle and friend. Daryl C. Fyfe, of Guelph, passed away peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, Thursday, November 14, 2002, in his 43rd year. He will be greatly missed by: his mother, Daphne Fyfe; brothers, Wayne (Katherine) Fyfe of Guelph and Andrew Fyfe (Amy) of Listowel and sisters, Melanie (Michael) Vivian of Edmonton and Heather (John) Grenn of the Cayman Islands. Uncle Daryl will be sadly missed by Samantha, Jeremy, Alex and Mitchell. He will be greatly missed by his fiancee Sandra Clayton and daughters Laura-Ashley and Jennifer-Rose all of Guelph. Daryl will also be missed by all his friends at Charles Watson Trucking, Everton, where he had proudly worked for twelve years. Daryl was predeceased by his father, David Maxwell Fyfe. BRAUN, John P. - Of Kimberley Cres., Kitchener, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, November 16, 2002, surrounded by the love of his family and friends, following a courageous battle with AIDS since 1986. He will be dearly missed by his mother, Suzanne Braun, father and step-mother, Frank and Lesley Braun of Kitchener; brothers, Frank Jr. and his wife Joanna of Listowel and Anthony and his wife Jessica of London. Also sadly missed by six nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his grandparents and favourite aunt and uncle, Mary and John Bayer of Kitchener. John also lost many friends to AIDS and special companion Jody. He will be especially missed by wonderful friends, Shane Delorme, Grant Betzner, Jeff Rosenberg, Gloria Taylor, Melina Couto, Brian Shepley and his friends at ACCKWA. John worked diligently in the life insurance industry from 1984 until 1998. He began his career as a clerk with Equitable Life. Following, he passed his life insurance agent's license exams. John was employed by Manu Life Financial from 1986 until 1991, at which point he obtained his broker's license and incorporated Investment Technologies Inc. He truly valued all his clients. As John's health declined, he gradually worked less and less, before selling the corporation in 1998. He often jokingly referred to himself as the uninsurable insurance agent; which drove him to his business practices. John had a great love of all types of music and was a very accomplished pianist himself. He also had a great affection for animals and openly offered financial assistance to the Humane Society. His donations will be missed. John is resting at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener 743-8900 on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. All family, friends, business associates and clients are invited to attend a Special Musical Tribute to John's life to be held at the Forest Hill United Church (121 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener) on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. A private interment will be held at a later date for family and close friends. It was John's request that flowers not be sent to the funeral home; instead a generous donation to the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research, or to the AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo would be greatly appreciated by John and his family and certainly all those who loved him.

TURNER, Barry Wayne - Suddenly, at Guelph General Hospital, on Sunday, November 17, 2002, aged 58 years. Loved and missed by his wife, Wanda of Belwood. Also missed by his children, Mardel Miller and her husband Doug of Guelph, Renee Turner (Ron Cole) of Alcona and Mark Turner and his wife Amy of Fergus. Grandpa Turner will be missed by Jacob, Madison and Michael Miller. Remembered by his brother, Paul Turner and his wife Judith of Orangeville; his mother-in-law, Elva Woods of Belwood and his sister-in-law, Myrna Bilton and her husband Rendall of Belwood. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Dorothy Turner and his father-in-law, Clifford Woods. Friends and relatives may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 21, 2002 at 1 p.m. Rev. Rienk Vleistra officiating. Interment in McKee cemetery , Belwood. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of St. John's United Church, Belwood. ROSENBERG, Bess (nee Walters) - Dear wife of the late Max Rosenberg, passed away peacefully, in her 89th year. She was a devoted mother to Marcia and Judith; grandmother of Rob, Richard, Jodi and Jay; great-grandmother of Patrick, Aaron, Zachary and Sydney; sister of Archie, Hymie, Lou, Ab, Sammy, Rheba, Sadie, Dorothy and Sophie and aunt to their families; sister-in-law and aunt to the Rosenberg family. She will be forever loved and missed by family and friends.
