GODDARD, Lillian L. (Dolly) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully, at the Norfolk Manor, Guelph, Friday, January 24, 2003, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Arthur Goddard (1989). Predeceased by a sister, Eccle Hill; a brother, Joseph Otis Anderson and by a sister-in-law, May Bruder. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lillian was a member of St. James Anglican Church and the Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph Tuesday (12:30-2:30 p.m.). Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. with Kevin Bothwell officiating. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 204-21 Surrey St. W., Guelph N1H 3R3 would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Lillian Goddard in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph, Arboretum. Dedication service Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at 2:30 p.m.

AITCHISON, Margaret "Adelle" - Peacefully, and with dignity, into the arms of Jesus, at her home in Elora, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, Adelle Aitchison, in her 72nd year, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Jack Aitchison (1996). Loved mother of Donna and Kevin Ashton of Goderich and Bill and Jane Richardson of Fergus; special Nana to Katelyn and Jordon Ashton and Miranda and Bradley Richardson. Survived by sisters, Joan Herron and Gary of Guelph, Cathy Bootsman and Marty of Fergus, Rosemary Bott and Dave of RR 4, Fergus and brother, Raymond and Dianne McKeown of Hamilton; sister-in-law of Barb McKeown of Stoney Creek and Bill Bergin of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Margaret McKeown; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary and Cy Richardson; sister, Dorothy Bergin and brother, Eddie McKeown and three nephews, Vince McKeown, Rob McKeown and Joe Bergin. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 37 Church St., Elora, on Tuesday, Jan.28, 2003 (today) from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Mary Immaculate Church, Elora, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. Father Philip Sherratt officiating. HALL, Kirsten - Passed away, peacefully, in her sleep, at the Wellington Terrace Home for the Aged, Elora, on Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in her 83rd year. Dear wife of the late C. Brian Hall, (Jan. 11, 2003). Mom will be missed by John, Randi, Kari, Rolf (Leslie), Stephen (Agnes) and Nick (Tracy); dear grandmother of Katrina, Jennifer, Sonya, Orin, Logan and Georgia. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Rider (1962). Dear mother of James and his wife Josephine of Ariss, Margaret and her husband Frank Groselle of Hollywood, Fla., Joseph and his wife Marilyn of Ariss and Millie and her husband Stan Iwan of Waterloo. Loved Grannie of 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Mark and Louise Hauss; a grandson, Gary Groselle and 11 brothers and sisters. PETERS, The Rev. George N. - Passed away, January 8, 2003, at Royal Inland Hospital, with his wife Sheila, Tim and Della at his side.He was born February 21, 1930 in Winnipeg, Man. As a young child, he and his family moved to St. Catherines, Ont. After graduation, he worked for the Toronto Dominion Bank for several years. In 1963, he went to McMaster University in Hamilton and from there to Knox College in Toronto. George was ordained June 19, 1968 in Chalmer's Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ontario. He was assigned to a two-point charge in Fort MacLeod and Jumbo Valley, Alberta. After four years, he accepted a call from St. Andrew's Presbyterian here in Kamloops where he was the minister from May of 1972 until his retirement on August 31, 1996. George was very active in his community. From the early 1970's for some 18 years, he hosted "Come Celebrate With Us" on Cable 10 Television. He was a longstanding member of the Kamloops Kiwanis Club, the Kamloops Community Y and the "Plura" Society.He is survived by his wife Sheila; son, Timothy and daughter-in-law, Della. Also surviving are his sister, Marlene Bergshoeff and Arie of Hamilton, Ont., Jim and Helen Peters of Burlington, Ont., John and Rose Peters of Perry Sound, Ont., Abe and Hackey Peters of Guelph, Ont.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan and Cec Bot, Eleanor and Ab Cresmasco and Pat Reilly, all of Guelph, Ont. and Ronald and Pat Evans of Kelowna.The Rev. Harold Wiest, the Rev. Joseph MacDonald and the Rev. Dr. Ted Siverns conducted a memorial service in Saint Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 6th and Douglas Street, Kamloops, B.C. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 at 2 p.m.Should friends desire, donations, in memory of George, to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated. MICHELUCCI, Frank, formerly from Guelph, passed away January 11th at the Etobicoke General Hospital. He leaves to mourn his wife Nora (nee Peloso), daughters Francine Clarke, Rose Mary Sacco, Miriam Hennesy, Anita Michelucci and 10 grandchildren. Celebration of Life Holy Mass was at the Transfiguration of Our Lord Church, Etobicoke, January 15th. Interment at Queen of Heaven cemetery , Toronto. May He Rest In Peace

ROTHMEL, Patricia - Passed away, at the Village of Riverside Glen, Guelph, on Thursday, January 23, 2003. Patricia (Moore) Rothmel, at the age of 85 years. Pat was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Ted Rothmel and her parents, William and Henrietta Moore (nee Gibson). Blessed with two step-daughters, Carol Crowe and Nancy Harnett. Pat will be missed by her brother, Bill Moore and his wife Nat and sister, Doris Bury and her husband George. She was adored by her many nieces; nephews and grandchildren from near and far. Memorial Service will be held at the Village of Riverside Glen Chapel, 60 Woodlawn Rd. E., Guelph, on Monday, January 27, 2003 at 3 p.m., with The Rev. Mark Cudney, Chaplain officiating. MILLARD, Benjamin Thomas "Ben" - Of Guelph, passed away suddenly, at his residence, Thursday, January 23, 2003, in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Donna. Loved father of B.J., Barbie, Bobbie and Bonnie. Dear grandfather of Taylor and Michael. Loving son of Rose Dennis. Also survived by other family and close friends. McKAY, David Brian - Passed away, suddenly, in his sleep, at Guelph, on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003. David (known by his baseball friends as Hack), McKay, in his 42nd year, was the beloved husband and friend of Kara Marie (nee Beitz) McKay. He will be missed by his faithful friend, Goldie, and Paul; by his parents, Robert and Mary McKay, his brother, Mark and his wife Anna, all of Toronto, Laura and her husband Eric of Burlington and Eileen and her husband Todd of Toronto. He is fondly remembered by his parents-in-law, Roy and Marva Beitz, his brothers-in-law, Daniel and his wife Darlene, and Greg, all of Guelph, his sister-in-law, Sandra and her husband Dana McTaggart of Kitchener and many nieces and nephews. David volunteered at the River Run Centre, was a coach for youth soccer and was an avid canoeist. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert McIntyre & Son Funeral Home and Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, today (Saturday), Feb. 1 and Sunday, Feb. 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral and Committal Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, Feb. 3, 2003 at 3:30 p.m. Cremation.
