REIDE, R. Vivian - Suddenly, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, January 16, 2003. Vivian (McKay) Reide, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of James R. Reide. Loving mother of Jessie Marie Whitepost of Guelph, Vivian Gilroy (Glen) of Brantford, Frank Reide (Jane) of Kitchener and Andrew Reide (Julie) of Fergus. Lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren. Survived by her sisters, Lois Ridi of Guelph and Ruby Surridge of Toronto and her brothers, Francis McKay (Rita), Gary McKay (Peggy), all of Toronto and Charles McKay of Alberta. Predeceased by her sister, Susan McKay. Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL-McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi St., Guelph (from 2-4 p.m. Sunday). Service at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL on Monday, January 20, 2003 at 11 a.m., with The Rev. David Howells officiating. Interment Woodlawn cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Lung Association of Wellington County would be appreciated.

STEVENSON, Laura Jean (nee Cann) - Of Guelph, passed away, at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Guelph, Friday, January 17, 2003. Jean Stevenson, in her 80th year, was born in Exeter and resided in Guelph and Bayfield. Predeceased by her cherished husband, George (1995). Loved mother of Marvin Stevenson and wife Carol-Ann of Rockwood and Barbara and husband Wayne Baxter of Guelph. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Jeffrey Stevenson of Toronto, Laurie and husband Heath Bullock of Morriston, David and Kevin Baxter, both of Guelph, and Anna and husband Steve Lynch of Angus; as well as Great-Grandma's pride and joy, Joyanne and Angus. Dear sister of Jim Cann and wife Anna of Eden Mills and sister-in-law of Annie Ralston, Jean Stevenson, and Jean Cann, all of Guelph and Lil Stevenson of Brantford. Predeceased by her parents, Sylvanus and Mary Ellen (nee Ferguson) Cann and brothers and sisters, Mary Blanchard (formerly of Exeter), Margerite Rockola (formerly of Guelph), Edith, Bruce, Stewart and Jack Cann (all formerly of Exeter), Pearl Ostler (formerly of St. Mary's), Gordon Cann (formerly of Guelph) and Ronald Cann (formerly of Exeter). She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends whom she cherished. Jean had many happy memories of her 45 year employment at the Guelph Stove Company/Resco. She was an active member of the Curvette Club for many years. Jean took great pride in her many interests: her family, to whom she gave her endless love and support; prize winning baking and cooking; and gardening, were among her favourites. Many thanks to those special "angel" care givers of St. Joseph's who lovingly looked after Mom over the past five years. Friends will be received at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, tonight (Saturday) 7-9 p.m. and Sunday (2-4 and 7-9 p.m.). BEYERLE, Herb - It is with much sadness and deepest regret, that we say goodbye, to a loving husband and devoted father, Herb, on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, after an amazing and courageous battle with cancer, age 53 years.Herb Beyerle, of Waterloo, cherished husband of Charlotte (nee Hasson). Treasured father of Jeffery and Justin. Loving son of Alex and Wilhelmina Beyerle of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his sister, Linda and family members, Nathan, Angie and Heidi. Never forgotten by in-laws, Jim and Kay Hasson, Herb and Diane, Bob and Karen, Jim and Wendy and his nephews and extended families, the Musselman's and Elias's. Loving sister of the late Grace and Stan Langdon, George and Edna Paddock and Viola and Harry Schieck. Remembered with love by her nieces and nephews, Al and Betty Langdon, Bruce and Doreen Langdon, Margaret and Bob Herron, Adele and Glenn Laughton, Irene and Jack Montgomery, Grant and Edith Schieck, Lela and Elgin Carley, Phyllis Paddock, Louise Paddock and Shirley Schieck. Beatrice was a longtime member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Guelph. Loving sister of Suora Anselmina of Italy and Narciso Pinzin and his wife Elisa of Guelph and the late Bruno, Rita and Marta. Dear Zia of Kathy, Johnny, Rita, Frank and Danny, all of Guelph and Adriano and Carlo, both of Italy. Loving grandmother of Brent, Blake, Ron, Terry-Lee, Billy, Mia, Barbie, Laura, Wesley and Kelly. Dear sister of Florence (Jerry) Johnson and Jack (Gert) Miehm. PARTITO, David Wayne - Age 40, of Guelph, passed away suddenly at home, Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003.David is survived by his parents, Sam and Ethel Partito of Goderich; his children, Krista Partito and Jeffery Partito/Wright both of Dobbinton; sisters, Ruth (Bernhard) Hasselwander, Diane (Greg) Briand, Nelda Ibele and Laura (Walter) McCarl, all of Kitchener; and nieces and nephews. Dave had a loving kind heart, a wonderful sense of humour and will be sadly missed by many. Cremation. Scotty will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. MILLAR, Catherine Patricia (Cappy) - Peacefully, at her residence, Guelph, with her family at her side, after a brief battle with cancer, on Wednesday, January 22, 2003. Catherine P. (Cappy) (Walker) Millar, in her 63rd year, beloved wife of Desmond Millar. Dear mother of Gail and her husband Darryl Francis, Glenn, Terri and her husband Ray Felice and Wendy and her fiance Wade Broeckel, all of Guelph. Loved grandma of Justine Millar and Kyle and Cory Francis. Dear daughter of Olga Walker of Verdun, Que. and the late James Walker. Dear sister of James Walker and his wife Micheline and John Brian Walker, all of Montreal. Dear daughter-in-law of Teresa Millar of Almonte. Dear sister-in-law of Hazel Agostini of Thornhill, Marion and Ed Kennedy of Nepean, Kaye Millar of Almonte, Rona Millar of B.C. and the late Leonard Millar and the late Delmar Millar. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Cathy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary RCL Branch No. 234 and Head Caretaker at University Village Public School. Cathy will be sadly missed by the generations of children she cared for and loved over the years, as well as her many friends and colleagues. SORENSEN, Erik - Suddenly, on Nov. 28, 2002, Erik Sorensen, beloved husband of the late Ragnhild Sorensen. Adored father of his daughters, Mona Sorensen and her husband, Alex Themelis, Karin Demone and her husband, Steve, Marilyn Sorensen-Graham and her husband, Wayne. Cherished and will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Julia Demone, Jeremy, Kyle and Brenden Graham. Dearly remembered by all his family in Denmark. Cremation has taken place. Loving mother of Bryan Ferris and his wife Bruna of Cochane, Alberta; Gary Ferris and his wife Patricia and Gail Ferris all of Guelph. Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Long time member of Arkell Road Bible Chapel.
