Germaine Trudel-Lallier

We regret to announce the death of Germaine Trudel-Lallier on July 5 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 80. She is survived by five sons; Marcel Trudel husband of Doreen of Val Rita, Ronald Trudel husband of Judith, Gerald Trudel husband of Nicole all of Kapuskasing, Rejean Trudel husband of Francoise of Ottawa, Bertrand Trudel husband of Alice of Timmins, four sisters; Rose Marcoux of Lasarre, Yvonne Leblond of Montreal, Marguerite Trepanier of Florida and Emilienne Marchildon of Rouyn-Norranda, one brother Marcel Rochette of Sherbrooke as well as 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Saturday July 8 at 2:00pm at the Immaculee Conception parish with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Interment followed at the Harty Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Alma Valliere

We regret to announce the death of Alma Valliere on July 3 at the Hotel Dieu hospital in Momagny, Quebec at the age of 73. She was pre-deceased by her husband Denis. She is survived by two sons; Gilbert husband of Shari of Kapuskasing, Michel of Toronto, three daughters; Louise Bisson wife of Jean of Kapuskasing, Linda Valliere and Lise Valliere of Plattsville, one brother Alphonse Duclos of Toronto as well as four grandchildren. The funeral mass was held on Monday July 10 at 2pm at the Immaculee Conception parish with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Internment followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Fondation would be greatly appreciated.

Leda Clavelle

We regret to announce the death of Leda Clavelle on July 1 at the Extendicare Nursing Home at the age of 92. She is survived by two sons; Gilbert husband of Catherine, Claude companion of Lorraine Fortier all of Kapuskasing, three grandchildren; Marc, Anne and Debbie as well as one great grandson Brendan. She was pre-deceased by by her husband Joseph, one son; Gerald, five brothers and four sisters. The Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday July 4 at the Immaculee Conception Parish with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Internment followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Fondation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated .

James "Joe" Endean

We regret to announce the death of James "Joe" Endean on June 19 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife; Lea, three sons; Bill husband of Paulette of Sudbury, Jim husband of Rita of Acton and Ken husband of Peggy Anne of Kapuskasing as well as three grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his brother Beverly and two grandchildren; Debbie and Derek. The Eucharistic Celebration was held on Wednesday June 21 at 10:15 am at St Patrick's Parish with Father Leo Papineau officiating. Interment followed at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or the charity of your choice would greatly be appreciated.

Therese Beaulieu

We regret to announce the death of Therese Beaulieu on June 12 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 69. She is survived by her son Donald of Vancouver, two daughters; Gisele St John wife of Joseph of Kitchener, Johanne Beaulieu of Callandar, one sister; Alma Valliere of Kapuskasing, one brother; Alphonse Duclos of Toronto as well as eight grand children and one great grand daughter. She was pre-deceased by her husband Aurele and two children; Gisele and Laurent. At the family's request there will be no visitation. A grave side service will be held at a later time with Father Leo Papineau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would greatly be appreciated.

Gaston Credger

We regret to announce the death of Gaston Credger on Thursday June 2, 2000 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 62. He is survived by his spouse Georgette, one son; Martin (Lucie) of Kapuskasing, two daughters; Darquise Blackwell (Howard) of Cochrane, Lucie Credger of Hamilton, four sisters; Lucie Trottier and Huguette Smith both of Kapuskasing, Pauline Credger of Ottawa and Jacynthe Girardin of Smooth Rock Falls as well as five grandchildren. The Eucharistic Celebration will be held on Monday June 5 at 10:15am at the Notre Dame des Victoires Parish with Father Roger Pronovost officiating. Interment to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated.

Edith Munro

We regret to announce the death of Edith Munro on May 23, 2000 in Fort Frances at the age of 93 years. She is survived by one daughter; Jean Pederson wife of Bev of Fort Frances, three sisters; Mae Noble of Colbourg, Nora Arseneault of Erin and Marie Roussy of Kapuskasing as well as two grandchildren. Funeral service were held on May 27 at the Guenette Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Frank Mason officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Victorien Levesque

We regret to announce the death of Victorien Levesque on Monday May 15, 2000 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 75 years. Victorien Levesque is survived by his wife Rita, 7 daughters; Roberte Daoust wife of Denis of Sudbury, Denise Keown wife of Brian, Jeannine Culverhouse wife of David, Fleurette Anderson wife of Howard all of Kapuskasing, Louise McFee wife of Rae of Port Colbourne, Rolande Hahn of Hull, Madeleine Priscott wife of Jack of Thunder Bay, 2 sisters; Carmen Kowaluk of Kapuskasing, Marcelle Voyer of Ottawa, 1 brother; Joseph Levesque of Brandon as well as 6 grandchildren. Funeral service was held at the Immaculee Conception Church in Kapuskasing on Thursday May 18. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Odeline Cymbalisty

We regret to announce the death of Odeline Cymbalisty on May 9, 2000 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 68 years. She is predeceased by her sister Jeannine Kivimacki and her parents Laurette and Thomas Louis Claveau. Odeline Cymbalisty is survived by her husband Mike of Kapuskasing, 2 daughters; Doris Forget wife of Denis, Lorette Dumais, 2 sons; Jean-Denis Cymbalisty, Ken Cymbalisty all of Kapuskasing, 2 sisters; Laurenza Frair of Timmins, Georgette St. Don of Haileybury, 6 brothers; Leonard Claveau, Marcel Claveau both of Cochrane, Paul-Aime Claveau of Windsor, Gerard Claveau of Frankfort, ON, Lucien Claveau of Timmins, Armand Claveau of Cochrane as well as 7 grandchildren. Funeral service was held on May 11 at the Guenette Funeral Home with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Cremation followed at the J.H. Fleury Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Wasyl Zwaryczuk

We regret to announce the death of Wasyl Zwaryczuk on May 6, 2000 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 87 years. He is predeceased by 1 son Zbiniew, 1 sister and 1 brother. Wasyl Zwaryczuk is survived by his wife Zofia, 2 sons; Walter friend of Linda of Moonbeam, Zyment husband of Nicole of Kapuskasing, 2 daughters; Maria Matzelle wife of Joe of Kapuskasing, Donna Murphy wife of Eric of Oromocto, New Brunswick, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held on May 11 at the St Patrick's Church in Kapuskasing with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.
