At North Renfrew Long-Term Care, Deep River on Friday, March 16, 2001 in her 81st year. Adeline Mary Allen (nee O'Donnell) of Chalk River, beloved wife of the late Vincent Allen. Loving mother of Judy (John) Kavanagh of Aylmer, John (Jeanette) Allen of Chalk River, QC and Jeanne (Clair) Scully of Kanata. Caring grandmother of Lynne (Lee) Rattray, Leanne Kavanagh, Shawn Scully, Christopher Scully, Giselle (Danny) Kutrowski and Nicole Allen. Dear sister of Arthur O'Donnell of Sudbury. Predeceased by parents Frank O'Donnell and Mary Byrne, by sisters Marguerite Corkery, Anna Randall, Gertrude Lore, Mamie Murphy and Teresa Maloney, and by brother Walter O'Donnell. Visitation was at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Anthony's Church, Chalk River on Monday, March 19, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Francis de Sales cemetery , Smith Falls. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the North Renfrew Long-Term Care would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.

McCAULEY, Doris Lillian

At Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine on Wednesday, March 14, 2001. Doris Logan age 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Walter Tooley by first marriage and the late Earl McCauley by second marriage. Loving mother of Donald Tooley and his wife Debra of Deep River, Margo Eno of Kincardine and Brian Tooley and his wife Joan of Ottawa. Dear sister of Curtis Logan and Norma Jobidon both of Georgetown. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren. Also survived by three sister-in-laws; Cora Logan and Vivian Pichette both of Deep River and Irene Cloutier of Petawawa. Predeceased by five brothers James, Andy, Maynard, Harold and Debbie Logan and two sisters Marjorie and Jean. Friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Deep River on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment Our Lady of the Snows Parish cemetery (in the spring). In memoriam donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke foundation or the charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.

Peacefully at Deep River on Monday, March 19, 2001. Joe Briscoe age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Merrine (Maureen) Delaire. Dear father of Barry Briscoe and his wife Sally of Barrie, Gay (Mrs. Jean-Paul Baribeau) of North Bay, Beverley (Mrs. Charles Ruhnke) of Deep River, Ken Briscoe and his wife Heather of Deep River. Cherished grandfather of Billy, Brian, Earl, Hayley, Kelvin, Brandon and Jordan. Loving brother of four sisters Lydia (Mrs. Richard Gloss) of Pembroke, Ruth Frazer of Nova Scotia, Edna (Mrs. Sid Baird) of New Brunswick, and Lois (Mrs. Ken Keefe) of Brampton. Predeceased by 8 brothers, Gilbert, Bob, Medrick, Tom, Jim, Bill, Boyd and Gordon Briscoe and three sisters Jessie Briscoe, Hazel MacDonald and Gladis Curry. Sadly missed by his beloved pet and companion Sadie. Suddenly at his residence in Chalk River, Ont., on Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Woody Woodbeck, loving husband of Marie Woodbeck (nee Rochon). Dear brother-in-law of Marie Woodbeck of British Columbia. Loving uncle of Gary Woodbeck (Beverley), Rodney Woodbeck (Julia), Donald Woodbeck (Barbara) and Laury Woodbeck, all of British Columbia. Son of the late Albert and Ada (nee Holly) Woodbeck, and predeceased by his brother Lavern Woodbeck.
Relatives and friends called at the Valley Funeral Home, Hwy. 17-West, Deep River Ont. on Friday evening from 7-9:00 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, Chalk River on Saturday morning March 3 at 11 o'clock. In memory of Woody, donations to the Memorial Fund of St. Anthony's Church would be appreciated by the family. Bishop Smith Assembly 4th Degree and member of K. of C. council # 5649 Deep River met at the Funeral Home for service at 8:00 p.m. Friday. Neil Richardson of 351 Trafalgar Rd., Pembroke, best friend and partner of Al Bullock, son of Dorothy Richardson and the late James Richardson, Pembroke. Dear brother of Darlene Demell (husband Darrel), Pembroke. Dear uncle to Kevin (Betty), Chad (Lynn) and CJ (Tiffany); and great nephews Koty, Patrick, Sean and Steve; and step-daughters Mary-Catherine and Amy-Elizabeth. Rested at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and after 9 a.m. Friday. Dear sister of Eva (Austin) McClaren of North Bay. Predeceased by daughter Mary (Martin Coulas) and by son Delbert (Theresa) Labine. Dear mother of David of Burlington, Jim (Francis) of Kincardine, John (Barbie) of Hampton, Marion (Doug Cameron) of Deep River and Barbara (Luc Maisonneuve) of Deep River. Cherished grandmother of Mike and Heidi Cameron, Jessica and Jason Pyatt. Survived by two sisters in Curry Mallet, England, Barbara Allen (Reg) and Valerie Fooks-Bale (Mervyn, deceased) and nieces Angela Fooks-Bale and Lynette (Allen) Elbourn. Dear sister-in-law of Myrtle and Joseph Arbuthnot of St. Catharines, Pat Pyatt (Glenn, deceased) of Thorold and Don Pyatt of Toronto. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada.
