Suddenly at the Lion's Head Hospital on Thursday November 18, 2004. Larry Watson of Tobermory in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Lynn (Desjardine) Watson. Dear father of Wanda and her friend Paul Braet of Sarnia, Tracey McFarlane and her husband Joel of Tobermory and Paula Smith of Lion's Head. Cherished grandfather of Zackary, Zane, Madison, Judson, William, Gracie and Chloe. Brother of Wayne (Mary) of Erin, Clark (Linda) , Margie Watson and Leo Schreiber, Bonnie (Richard) Desormeaux, Karen (Stu) Hodgson, Carl (Karen) all of Tobermory and Janet (Doug) Robbins of Pike Bay. Brother-in-law of Beth (Moe) MacPhatter and Amelia (Jack) Dunham all of Tobermory. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tobermory United Church, 9 Brock Street, Tobermory on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted from the church on Sunday November 21st at 2:00 pm with Rev. Susan Shantz officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Geoge Funeral Home, Wiarton.

West Angus Sheldon
Suddenly in Wiarton as the result of a drowning accident in Georgian Bay on Friday October 1, 2004. Angus West of Wiarton in his 62nd year. Son of the Late Ed and Annie West. Beloved father of Holly Ledingham and her husband Chris of Windsor; Melanie Gordon and her husband Kevin of Kitchener and Kelly West of Windsor. Dear brother of Wilda (Ellis) Hannah of Hamilton; Gordon West; Maybelle (George) Rudd; Sharon Wright all of Wiarton and Larry (Donna) West of Hepworth. Dear papa of Samantha, Jessica, Alexandra, Sheldon, Emma and Benjamin. Special uncle of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Syl and Doug and sister- in- laws Nita and Gwen. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. A funeral service for Angus West will be conducted from the chapel on Wednesday October 6th at 11:00 AM. with Mr. Gordon MacDonald officiating. Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wiarton Salvation Army or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

West Gwendolyn June
Suddenly at her residence on Wednesday June 16, 2004. Gwen (Turner) West of Wiarton in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Gordon West. Dear mother of Ron and his wife Linda of Wiarton and Nancy and her husband Bob Rushton of Lucan. Cherished grandmother of Letitia, Tom, Katelin, Jamie, Kelsey, Matthew and Hayley. Survived by one sister Norma (Alfredo) Arnone of Woodridge. The funeral service will be conducted at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street Wiarton on Saturday June 19th at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment of cremated remains at Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Donations to the Diabetic Research or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Wipp Darlene Hazel
Peacefully at her home in Tobermory on Monday July 12th, 2004. Darlene (Malcolm) Wipp of Tobermory in her 66th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex Wipp (July 9, 2003). Loving mother of Patricia Wipp; John and his wife Trudy; Fred and his wife Sandra all of Tobermory; and Wayne and his wife Marg of Oakville. Special grandmother of Kendra, Jamie, Katrina, and Kayci. Sister of Les (Glenda) Malcolm of London, Irene (Dennis) Ard, Ed (Cathy) Malcolm, and Clayton Malcolm all of Owen Sound. Predeceased by three brothers Lloyd, Jim, and Norman. The family will receive friends at the Tobermory United Church, 9 Brock Street, Tobermory on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the church on Wednesday July 14th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Interment, Dunk's Bay Cemetery, Tobermory. Donations to the Tobermory Clinic or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton.

Suddenly at her Mom and Dad's home on Christmas morning, Saturday December 25, 2004. Karina Bain of Hanover in her 26th year. Beloved daughter of Ron and Carol (Hellyer) Bain. Cherished twin sister of Krista Louise Bain of Hanover and Ryan and his wife Cindy of Wiarton. Special aunt of Tyler. Dear grandaughter of Irene and the Late Harvey Bain of Chesley and formerly of Lion's Head and Mary and the Late Roy Hellyer of Wiarton. Special niece of Nancy (Rick) Thompson, Jim (Carol) Hellyer, Bill (Darlene) Hellyer, Kathy (Rick) Glassco, Ray (Deb) Hellyer, Tracy (Jim) Porter, Penny (Brian) Mepsted, Hazel (Johnny) Lancaster, Adelle (Jim) Dawm, Shirley (Mike) Edwards and Linda Bain. Predeceased by her uncle Ed Bain. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Tuesday December 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Wednesday December 29th at 11:00am with Rev. Ed Laksmanis officiating. Spring Interment Bayview Cemetery, Wiarton. Suddenly at the Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Monday December 27, 2004. Elbern Butchart of Wiarton in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the Late Vera (Coram) Butchart. Dear father of Lyle and his wife Kathy of Wiarton. Cherished grandfather of Shari Butchart and her partner Gerry Hanson of Windsor; Carlyle and his wife Cathy of Brampton; Sheilah Butchart of Windsor and two great grandchildren Shaye and Keara Hanson. Predeceased by one son Duke, two sisters Jessie Hellyer, Pearl Ceaser and three brothers Andrew, Alec and Byron. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Peacefully at the Wiarton Hospital on Friday July 9th, 2004. Smokey Desjardine of Wiarton in his 77th year. Husband of the late Jeanette (Ellis) Desjardine (1991). Dear father of Linda and her husband Gary Simpson of Arthur; Nancy and her husband Al Robinson of Owen Sound; Marlene and her friend Dan Pelley of Lindsay; Louis and his wife Marg of Hamilton; Sheila and her husband Brian MacKeen; Phillip; and Roger and his friend Dianne all of Guelph. Special grandfather of several grandchildren. Also survived by one sister-in-law Florence Desjardine of White City, Saskatchewan and his best friend's Mac and Carol Law. Predeceased by his parents Louis and Margaret (Miller) Desjardine, four sisters Locklina, Bernice, Marie, and Margaret and three brothers Lawrence, Louis, and Jack. The family will receive friends at the George Funeral Home 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be conducted from the funeral home on Monday July 12th at 11:00 AM with A.J.V. Leeder officiating. Interment, Bayview Cemetery Wiarton. Dear brother of Myrtle Ribbel of Tobermory; Nellie Hatt of Toronto; Margaret Bithel of Cambridge; and Joe Hatt of Wiarton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Winnetta Robertson, and two brothers Don and Jack. At Ted's request Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Wiarton Hospital Would be appreciated. Suddenly at the family cottage at Pike Bay on Monday December 27th, 2004. Donna Lamont-Gray of Toronto in her 52nd year. Dearly loved wife of Everett Gray. Loving daughter of Ken and Margo Lamont of Toronto. Predeceased by one sister Linda Lamont-Stewart. At Donna's request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Peacefully at the Lion's Head Hospital on Wednesday October 13, 2004. Fern (Herbert) Lamoureux of Lion's Head in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the Late Ed Lamoureux. Dear mother of Gerald (Gerry) of Cornwall, Murielle Lamoureux of Lion's Head, Huguette Wauthier and her husband Albert of West Vancouver, B.C., Pat Burgie and her husband Ed of Bobcaygeon, Ted and his wife Arlene of Cornwall, Charlie and his wife Donna of Whitby, Carmene Rawlings and her husband Bill of Delta, B.C., Claudette Smith and her husband Desmond of Toronto, George and his wife Cathy of Stockdale, Guy and his wife Mirella and Juliette Connor and her husband Peter all of Keswick. Suvived by two sisters Lucy Nadjiwon of Cape Croker and Yolande (Lolly) and Ron Selby of Newmarket. Also survived by twenty seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Predeceased by ten brothers and sisters. The family will receive friends at the Davidson Chapel, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will held in the chapel on Saturday October 16th at 3:00 pm. with Father Steve LaCroix officiating. Cremation with Interment at Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head. Donations to the Lion's Head Hospital or the V.O.N. would be appreciated by the family.

Dear brother of Elmer and his wife Gladys of Lion's Head and Etta Lederman of Sarnia. Predeceased by four sisters Annie Bartley; Lenna Nickolson; Louisa Ceaser; Lottie Rapp and three brothers Ed; John and Russell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Special friend of Brent Skippen.
