Furlotte: Alonzo ( Lonny ) ( Al ), a resident of Dresden, passed away at the C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the age of 78. Born in Jacquet River, N.B., son of the late Alphonse and Florence (Berton) Furlotte. Predeceased by his first wife Natie (Strawa) Furlotte. Beloved husband of Doreen (Crummy) Furlotte. Loving father of Lee Furlotte of Wallaceburg and Shiela and Bob Rundle of Petrolia. Cherished poppy of Kevin and Michelle Furlotte, Dillon and Nicole Rundle. Dear brother of Clement Furlotte of Ohio and Allan Furlotte of Sarnia. Predeceased by a sister Ida Fraser, a brother Armand Furlotte, sisters-in-law Donna, Jospehine and Mary Furlotte and a brother-in-law Fred Fraser. The Furlotte family will recieve friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Wednesday from 4 pm - 8 pm with parish prayers at 7:45 pm. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Dresden on Thursday December 3, 2009 at 11:00 am with Fr. Andy Dwyer as celebrant. Cremation with interment in Blackburn cemetery , Camden Township. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Church or the charity of one's choice.

Mabel McCabe

McCabe, Mabel Jean a resident of Ridgetown passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Village Retirement Residence, Ridgetown at the age of 91. She was born in Brooke Township, daughter of the late Dan and Mabel McGugan. Mabel was a past member of the Rebecca Lodge in Florence, member of Croton UCW and member of Croton United Church and Thamesville United Church. Beloved wife of 65 years of Luth McCabe. Loving mother of Alan and Cherie McCabe of Jericho, Vermont and Sharon and Art Wismer of Thamesville. Special grandmother of Amanda and Jason, Kelly and Jamie, Greg and Kristy, Rob, Alicia. Cherished great grandmother of Madeline, Mitchell and Benjamin. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Margaret MacDougall and Elsie McCabe. Predeceased by brothers JD McGugan and Gordon McGugan. The McCabe family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held from the Thamesville United Church on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lynn Brown officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant cemetery , Thamesville at a later date. Donations may be made by cheque to Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Curtis S. Logan

Logan: Curtis Shayne, a resident of Moraviantown, passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, Chatham on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the age of 36. Curtis was an avid sports fan, and was a member of the Moraviantown A's fastball team for many years. Born in Chatham, son of Dora Logan and the late Randy Jacobs. Loving father of Brandon, Tiffany, Ryanne, and Shayne Logan. Loving grandson of Louie ad Doreen Logan, and Eva and the late Cyril Jacobs. Dear brother of Norma Logan (Jeffery), Gibson Chookomoolin, and Sheila Robinson. Sadly missed by his dear friend Karen Hunter. Also survived by a nephew Tristan Logan. The Logan family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Thursday from 7 - 9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:00am. Cremation will take place. Donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.

She was born September 28, 1923 in Zone Township daughter of the late Sophia (Allison) and Ernest Bedford. Fran had worked at the Thamesville Telephone Company (1943-1946),and Thamesville Post Office (1968 - 1986). She was a member of the Chatham Organ Society and St. James Presbyterian Church, Thamesville, the former organist at St. Barbarc's Chapel CFB, Shilo, Manitoba, Trinity Chapel CFB Camp Borden, Thamesville Baptist Church, John C. Badder Funeral Home, and supply organist at St. James Presbyterian Church, Thamesville. Beloved wife of the late Andrew Thomson (1993). Loving mother of Robert Thomson (Katherine) of Calgary, Alberta, Gordon Thomson of Chatham, Mary Lee & Dale Cartier of Thamesville. Proud grandma and great-grandma of Christine, Michael, Ian, Stephanie Major, Mathew Thomson, Rev. Jason Cartier (Martha), Jamie Cartier (Jodi), Kelly (Darcy Graham), Hannah, Andrew, Jonathan Cartier, Laila and Justin Major, Scarlett Cartier, Charlotte Graham,Madison Chambers and step-grandchildren Barry, Barbara, and Richard Walker. Loving father of Kelley Marchand , Candice Marchand, Valerie Marchand, Shelley Richardson (Jeff), Racquel Horrell (Jason). Loving step-father of Jason Beamish. Loving grandfather of Zachary and Kaitlyn Richardson, Ethan and Caden Horrell. Dear brother of Jeanette Taylor (Lawrence), Elaine Marchand, Ernie Marshall, Carl Marchand (Phyllis), John "Sugar" Marchand (Irene). Dear son-in-law of Gloria and Fred Copeland. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Jodi Canale (Steve), Sara Orris (Duane), Jessica, Kate, Megan,Sophie, Ben, Alicia, Kristin, and Scott Barnes, and great-grandchildren Craig, Caitlyn Canale, Ellie, Mason, and Logan Orris. She was born in Camden Township daughter of the late Frank and Olive (McEachran) Huckle. Margaret was a member of Community of Christ, Wabash and the Wabash Womens Institute. She served as a teacher in the church and also taught 32 years as a teacher at Grovemills, Baseline, Thorncliff and Dresden Area Central Schools. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Ross (2001). Loving mother of Betty & John Vansegbrook, Glenda & Donald McGee, Tina & Richard Zimmer and Dale & Michelle Ross. Proud grandma of Gillian and Eric McGee, Carter and Allix Ross, Nicole,Hailey and Karley Zimmer and great grandson Layton Demers. Dear sister of Neil & Joyce Huckle. Beloved wife of the late Roy Campbell. Loving mother of Leslee & David Ralph of Guelph, Dianne & David Winship of Cold Lake, AB and Veronica & Glen McCalpin of Spruce Grove, AB. Proud grandma of Lisa & Rodney Botelho, Bradley & Jennifer Ralph, Brendan, Tyler McCalpin. Cherished great grandma of Maksim, Mitchell, Dexter. Dear sister-in-law of Hazel Little of Windsor. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Born in Camden Twp., daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Northcott) Steele. Mary was a member of the Tupperville United Church and life member of the U.C.W., and was an active member of the former Tupperville Rebekah Lodge. Predeceased by her husband’s Argyle Churcott (1964) and Jack Jordan (1996). Beloved mother of Diane Elliott of Tupperville, Norma Mouritsen (Wes) of Chatham, and son-in-law Roger Dupelle of Tupperville. Dear step-mother of John Jordan (Barbara) of Raleigh Twp., George Jordan (Sharon) of Chatham. Loving grandmother of Richard, Kim, William, Kerry, Mark, Jodie, Rodney, Lisa, Elizabeth, Heather, Tricia, and Amanda and step-grandmother of Leigh-Anne, Sean, Scott, Amanda, Lisa, and Jeffery. She will be missed by her 17 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Clayton Steele (Gwen) of Chatham. Sadly missed by her friend and companion Mervel Booth of Dresden. He was born in Cambridge son of the late Rebecca (McLaren) and Elsworth Kitchen. Beloved husband of Patricia (Dudley) Kitchen. Father of six daughters and six sons. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Helen Jones of Cambridge and Keith (Barb) Kitchen of Kitchener.
