UGARKOVIC, Helen (nee Atanasoff) Peacefully at Extendicare Cobourg on Saturday February 17th, 2007 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Chalovich and Tom Ugarkovic. Loving mother of Mary Chalovich, George Chalovich (Joan), the late Eva Abramczyk (late Tony), Eleanor Abramczyk (late Nick),the late John Chalovich (Barb), Tom Chalovich (Betty-Ann), Helen Hibert (Lee), Elizabeth Chavlovich (the late Bob Parsons and Milan Ugarkovic), the late Joseph Chalovich and Kathy Wood (Garry). Dear grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Sister of Veronica Milkovich and the late John Atanasoff. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., E., Cobourg on Saturday February 24th, 2007 from 12 noon – 2 pm., followed by a funeral service at 2 pm. CLARRY, Patricia (Pat) Eleanor (nee McNeill) Peacefully at Landmark Extendicare, Cobourg on February 13, 2007. Beloved life companion of 55 years to her husband Arthur Clarry. Loving mother of Brian and Michael Clarry. Cherished grandmother of Nicolas and Charlie. Dear sister of Maureen Starr. Pat will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 240 College St., Cobourg on February 24th at 2 p.m. Interment at a later date in Locus Hill Cemetery. Dear brother of Roy Searle of London, England, also Norman Searle, predeceased. Son of the late Algernon and Elsie Searle. Beloved “Unkie” of Keith Nicholas (Kay) of Cobourg, Gail DeVeau (Wayne) of Cobourg, and Jan Oliver (George) predeceased. Great “Unkie” of Skylar, Chris, Jena, Cara and Shannon, and Damen predeceased. Great Great “Unkie” of seven nieces and nephews. Aslo Uncle to Wendy Raynor, Debbie Gledhill and Christopher Godsell. Following Eric’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation a Private Family Service will be held. If desired, donations in memory of Eric can be made to the C.N.I.B., Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Society.

Richardson, Robert Claude “Tex” At the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg, on Tuesday, February, 13, 2007, at the age of 70. Tex Richardson beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Tuttle). Loving father of Randy (Jenny Duda), Dan (Teresa) and Greg (Wendy Wells). Loving grandfather of Hannah, Will, Ryan and Derek. Brother of Frank of Gores Landing, Ken (Anita) of Peterborough, Ruth of Cobourg, Linda (Bruce Harp) of Cobourg, Elaine (Ralph Peters) of Penetang, Harry (Susan) of Virginia and John (Louise) of Cobourg. Tex will be missed by a multitude of nieces and nephews. Loving brother-in-law of Ruth and John Fox of Cobourg, Wayne and Sharon Tuttle of Peterborough and Helen Young of Langton. Friends and family will call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St., East, Cobourg, on Thursday, February 15, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations by cheque to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Lyttleton. Loving daughter of the late Ernest Coughlin and Lillian Walker. Sister of the late Bernice Tong. Dear aunt of Doug & Chris Ship and David & Virginia Tong. DEGNAN, Michael Samuel Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Wednesday November 24th, 2010, Michael Degnan at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Joan Degnan. Loving father of Russell and his wife Janice and Richard and his wife Ginette. Cherished grandfather of Angela, Sabrina, Ashley, Sylvia and Eric. Great grandfather of Nya, Sonya, Ethan and Kaden. Mike will also be missed by his sister Peggy as well as family and friends in England. A memorial service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Sunday November 28th, at 2 pm. Visitation will be from 1 pm. until time of the service. Special Thanks to Dr. Moorsom and the wonderful nurses and volunteers in the Palliative Care unit of Northumberland Hills Hospital as well as the staff at Palisade Gardens. Daughter of the late Ellis and Beatrice Isaac and step-daughter of Mary Isaac. Fondly remembered by her step-sister Cathy Geddes (Jim). Lovingly remembered by her foster son Aaron Bedard. Dear grandmother of Dan and his wife Kim, Bonnie and her husband Paul, Sherry and Dom, Shannon and her husband Brian, Logan and his wife Eve, Ryan and April, Courtney and Stephanie. Great grandmother of Timothy and Amy, Ashley-Anne, Jocelyn, Lincoln, Ronnie and Dante. Great-great grandmother of Noah. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. BAXTER, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Henderson) Peacefully November 23, 2010 at Extendicare Cobourg. Beloved wife of the late George Arthur. Loving mother to John (Brenda) and Bill (Cindy). Step mother to Bob (Helen), Velma (the late Ron) and the late Lloyd (Joy). Cherished grandmother of Steven (Christy), Jeff, James (Trish), and Mathew. Will be missed by her great grandchildren Aidan, Travis and Jessica. Predeceased by her sister Helen (Harve). The family would like to extend thanks to the loving and caring staff of Extendicare Cobourg, family and friends for their love and support and to Dr. Nearing. Marquis, Thelma Jean (Shelley) (nee Alborough) (June 15, 1936) peacefully passed away on Saturday November 20th 2010 with the family she loved by her side at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, Ontario. She was 74 years young. Daughter to late Lilian Elsie and Charles Alborough. A woman of great inner strength, Thelma is survived by Leonard Marquis, her dedicated husband of 48 years, her son Randall Maeda (Laura Francey), daughter Lise Marquis (Edward Lachmansingh), Len’s son Carl Marquis (Katherine Marquis), brothers Kenneth, David and Allan Alborough, and dear sister Donna Beaton. Predeceased by her son Robin Maeda, Robert Maeda, sister Marlene Wheeler and brothers Roy, Glen, Edward Alborough. A life marked by personal sacrifice and dedication to family; entertaining, volunteering, growing and creating beauty around her. Her love lives through us today. We thank her deeply for all she gave to us. A Celebration of her life will be held in Cobourg on Sunday November 28th. Dear step-great grandfather of 14 as well as many step-great, great grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Rene. Andrew Lawson son of the late Rev. Arthur Lawson and Allene Louise (nee Andrew). Friend of the late F. Muir Flint. Dear brother of Walter and his wife Nancy, Arthur and his wife Olive and by his sister Betty McNeely. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Dr. Donald T. McNeely. Andy will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Andy’s formal education began at Lakefield College and continued at U.C.C. Following graduation from Trinity College at U. of T., Andy studied law at Osgoode Hall. Following cremation, a private family service will be held at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St., East, Cobourg. Interment Canton Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial donations by cheque to the York University Foundation.
