Once she was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, she discovered the IBC Support Group on the Internet and became a counsellor, a pillar of strength and an inspirational source of hope and comfort for many women with this disease, and their families worldwide. Lee was a founding member of the IBC Research Foundation, and was the Canadian Tissue Donation Co-ordinator. Even in death, she donated her corneas to give others sight, and continues to make a difference. Lee will be missed by her loving husband Charles Smith, parents Gertrude and J. Michael Vincent, brothers David Vincent (Judy) and John Vincent (Louise), daughters Katie Toksoy (Guy) and Sylvia Priboj (Jergus), and cherished granddaughters Seline and Erin Toksoy.
