Moore, Joseph Bernard

Suddenly in Gatineau, QC, Joe Moore, beloved father of Keagan of Red Bay, dear son of Edward and Eleanor Moore of Port Elgin. Brother of Steven and Cathy of Port Stanley, David and Peggy of Hanover, and Sandra and her husband Stephen Swanson of Port Elgin. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Sunday evening, August 4th from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday morning at 11 a.m., with Rev. Gordon Williams officiating.

Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Boisvert, D.C. "Pete"

At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Southampton, early Friday morning July 19th, 2002, at the age of 79 years, Darius Charles “Pete” Boisvert, husband of Jean Boisvert of Port Elgin. Father of Brian and his wife Lynn of Cambridge, and Glenn and his wife Megan of Owen Sound. Grandpa to Andrea and Theresa, both of Cambridge, and Tannis of Owen Sound. Brother of Lou and her husband Matt Scott of St. Catharines, Lily Lemay of Thorold, and Rita and her husband Jim Haine of Niagara Falls. Pete will be missed by his nieces and their families.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, on Sunday, July 21st from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Port Elgin on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.

Surrounded by her loving family at the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Monday, December 16th, 2002 in her 71st year, the former Marion Ribey of Port Elgin. Loving wife of the late Alvin Schlorff (1994). Much loved mother of Elinor and her husband Jim Phillips of Kitchener, Barb and her husband Tom Parker of R.R. #1, Campbellville, John and his wife Sue of Bruce Township, and Anne and her husband Cliff Roth of Waterloo. Proud grandma of Angela and her husband Andrew Brenner, Dawn Phillips, Rebecca and Adam Parker, Amy and Lindsay Schlorff, and Matthew Roth. Cherished sister of Noreen and her husband Harry Kibler, Don Ribey and his wife Sharon all of Port Elgin, and Howard Ribey and his wife Audrey of Bruce Township. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews in the Ribey and Schlorff families.

At Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Monday, December 16th, 2002 in her 97th year, the former Myrtle Vance of Mount Forest and formerly of Paisley. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Sawyer. Dear mother of Peggy and her husband Jack McGregor of Mount Forest, and Glenn and his wife Sandra of R.R. #2, Paisley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.

Mother of David of Port Elgin, Joanne and her husband Bob Mundy of Mississauga, and Nancy Campbell of Ottawa. Grandmother of Ryan, Meghan and Elspeth Campbell, Gordon Ballantyne, and Iain Mundy. Great-grandmother of Taylor. Survived by her sisters Edith Dryden, Nancie Thompson, and Susan Hamilton, and by her brothers Murray Fenton, and Ray Fenton. Sister-in-law of Jean and Orland Vennard, and Bob and Phyllis Campbell. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Parker.

Loving mother of Audrey and her husband Bob Filsinger of Neustadt, Shirley and her husband Peter Tomlinson, Barb and her husband Howard Wrightson, all of Port Elgin and Bob and his wife Edieth Nelson of Elderslie Township. She will be missed by her eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruby (McArthur) Sumpton and by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three sisters and one brother.

Brother-in-law of Marg Steele of Newbury. He is also survived by one niece and one nephew.

Greatly loved by his parents, Albert and Myrtle Sieffert of Port Elgin. Brother of Lyverne Sieffert and his wife Ida of Hamilton, Donna and her husband Art Doern of Underwood. Brother-in-law of Doug and Louise Virtue of Port Elgin, Don Virtue of Florida, and Janice and her husband Mike Corigan of Ottawa. Admired and loved by six nephews and six nieces. Predeceased by his brother Brian, and his sisters Marilyn and Carolyn in infancy.

At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the age of 44 years, Ron Howe of Owen Sound, son of Marguerite Howe of Southampton, and the late Roy Howe, brother of Brian and his wife Katherine of Cape Breton, Lynn of British Columbia, Michael of Port Elgin, Kathryn of Elliot Lake, his twin brother Ray of Owen Sound, and Mary and her husband Rick McClement, of Port Elgin. Surviving also are his nieces Molly and Lucy McGovern of Owen Sound, and Julie and Sarah McClement.

Private family funeral services will be conducted at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin.

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the age of 85 years. The former Felcie Bowling was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 1st, 1917. Wife of the late Bill Grass. Mother of Bob and his wife Mary, and Pete and his wife Tilly, all of Kitchener, Junior and his wife Sharon of Port Elgin, Barbara Payne of Waterloo, Gerry McCulloch of Port Elgin, Jim and his wife Edith of Walkerton, and Joe and his wife Janet of Port Elgin. Mrs. Grass is survived by her 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, by one brother William Bowling, and by one sister Edna Fogel, both in Michigan. She is predeceased by her parents Cleve and Alma Bowling, and by one daughter Shirley Tweedie.
