At Saugeen Villa, Hanover on Friday, November 15th, 2002 in his 96th year, Bill Colwell of Hanover and formerly of Glammis. Beloved husband of the former Ellen Reid. Dear father of David and his wife Delores of Hanover, and Beatrice and her husband Raymond Mitchell of Paisley. Dear grandpa of Robert, Megan, Randy and Jackie Colwell all of Hanover and Helen Mitchell of Paisley. Loving great-grandpa of Kelly, Kayla, and Autumn. Brother of Florence Pegelo of Walkerton. Brother-in-law of Carl Wagner of Ilderton. He is predeceased by his first wife Noreen Baird, three sisters, and one brother in infancy.

Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Paisley Chapel, 216 Queen St.S., Paisley on Sunday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Baker officiating.

Solomon, Henry "Hank"

At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Sunday, November 10th, 2002 in his 52nd year, Hank Solomon of Saugeen First Nation. Beloved husband of the former Sharon Ritchie. Dear father of Cindy, Kathy & Fred, Matthew, Mark, and Vincent Solomon all of Saugeen First Nation. Dear grandfather of Kristen, Dana, Chelsea, Craig, Bryanna, Alyssa, Jaydyn, and Shelby. He is also survived by his father Patrick Solomon of Saugeen First Nation. Brother of Sally and Ed Kellestine of Sarnia, Bonnie McCue of Niagara Falls, Roderick, David, and Donald, all of Owen Sound, and Tim Cummings of Barrie. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his mother Alvina Wahbegona and Velma Ritchie, his son Gregory, his brothers Ronald and Harvey and by his sister Leatrice.

Friends may call at the Saugeen Full Gospel Church, Scotch Settlement Road, on Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the James Mason Cultural Centre on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Philip Ritchie officiating.

Interment Village Cemetery.

At the London Health Sciences Centre, South Street on Monday, November 4th, 2002 at the age of 55 years, Paul Fredette of Port Elgin. Loving husband and friend of the former Doris Fifer. Loving dad of Eric and his friend Amy of Port Elgin. Brother of Jean and his wife Madonna of Kincardine, Celine Fisette-Fredette, Alexina and her husband Marcel Durocher, Pauline and her husband Claude Bourassa, and Micheline and her husband Gilbert Lagrandeur, all of Quebec. He is predeceased by his parents, his sister Marguerite-Rose, and his brother-in-law Roger.

Dear father of Gary and his wife Judi of Southampton, and Ron of Paisley. Dear grandpa of Bud James and Chantal, both of Southampton. Brother of Marilyn and her husband Loyd Marklevitz of Chesley, Bernice and her husband Bill Brown of Owen Sound, and Cliff and his wife Harriet of Owen Sound. Brother-in-law of Ken Pfohl and his wife Nellie of Brantford.

A memorial service will be conducted in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 181 1st Ave.S., Chesley on Thursday, October 31st, 2002 at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Terri Anne Mattiasson officiating.

Brother of Audrey and her husband Darrell Leybourne of Toronto, Ernie and his wife Carol of London, Mark and his friend Alice of Port Elgin, and Donna and her husband Kirk Stouffer of Kitchener. Cliff is predeceased by his parents Don and Marie Seaman, and by one brother Bruce.

Papa of five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy Dunn of Fort Erie, his sisters and brothers-in-law Grace and her husband Val Lessard, Elroy Nieman and his wife Shirley all of Westmeth, and Luly and her husband Donald Vanwert of Pembroke, and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, sister Jean and brother Roger.

Surrounded by his family at his residence in Paisley on Monday, October 21st, 2002, at the age of 69 years, George Becker of Paisley, dear friend and loving partner of Janet Stark. Dear father of Don and Sherie Becker of Brandenton, Florida, Sheryl and Carl Folson of Crystal Falls, Susan and Doug Coleman of Walkerton, Marie and Mike Therrien of Earlton, Rob Becker and his fiancée Carol of Whitby, Tanya and John King of Red Bridge. Also cherished by Janet’s children Anne and Allan Roberts of Ottawa, Charlie and Marg Stark of Port Elgin, Donna and Ken Cormack of Paisley, and Shirley and Don Bushell of Kinloss. He will be sadly missed by 24 grandchildren and 4 great-grranchildren. Brother of Anne Schwandt of Port Elgin, and Gordon Becker of Paisley.Predeceased by one brother Jack

Brother of Ronald of Lucknow, John and his wife Ramona of Weston, Jim of Rexdale, Dorothy and her husband Fraser Lamont of Underwood, and Mary and her husband Ken Ernest of Kitchener. Mac will be greatly missed by the Bryce Family and by his many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law Joanne Howe of Port Elgin, her sister Edith Harrison of Listowel, and her brother Murray McGill of Goderich. She is predeceased by her son Jack and by seven brothers.
