Eleanor Ruth Bell

BELL, Eleanor Ruth - Peacefully, October 9, 2006, at Trillium Manor, Orillia. Predeceased by her husband Raymond, parents Lorne and Lillian Readman, sisters Madeline, Betty and Lorna. Survived by her son Chris, sister Helen Myles and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Graveside service October 23, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Fonthill, Ontario. Fernande (nee Seguin) Gamache

GAMACHE, Fernande (nee Seguin) - of Rockland, Ontario, died peacefully after a long fight with cancer on October 18, 2006 at Linhaven Home for the Aged at the age of 89. Fern is survived by her sister Yvonne LaPash of Willmington, Delaware; son George Gamache and a granddaughter native of St. Catharines. Mrs. Gamache was a government employee in Ottawa for many years retiring from the UIC in St. Catharines. She has been a devout Catholic member of Paroise Immaculee Conception for over 50 years. She is most remembered by countless friends for her tireless volunteer work with families of alcoholics. A memorial service will be held in the auditorium at Linhaven Home, 403 Ontario Street on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent in the afternoon prior to the service. Much gratitude to all the staff and volunteers at Linhaven for the professional care and compassion extended to Mrs. Gamache and family at the time of death and during her six years of residency.

Beloved wife of the late Blair Allen who predeceased her in 1993. Dear mother of Brian and Karen Allen of Listowel, Gail and David Blain of Cambridge, Bonnie and Philip Nash of Kitchener, Joyce Biehn of Stratford and Joan and Lane Ward of Hanover. Grandmother of Ryan, Alysia, Lori, Tara, Andrew, Allison, Mike and Adam and great-grandmother of Jacob and Cadence. sister of Doris McKean of Oakville and Jean and Doug Rutherford of Beamsville, Sister- in-law of Finley Lewis, Laura McRobb, Jean Rooney, Ross and Louise Morrison, Marguerite Allen and Fern and Ellis Aitken. Predeceased by her sisters Phyllis Walsh and Grace Miller. Funeral service was held at Christ Anglican Church, Listowel on Sunday, September 17 at 2 p.m. Rev. Nancy Beale officiated. Interment in Fairview cemetery , Listowel.

Hope Wolstenholme (Gillespie)

WOLSTENHOLME (Gillespie) - With heavy hearts, Craig and Sherry announce the sudden, tragic passing of their beloved daughter Hope, in St. Catharines General Hospital on Monday, September 25th, 2006. In her 20th week, Hope weighed 12.6 oz. and measured 10 inches. Hope was the beloved 3rd granddaughter of Larry and Dorothy, first niece of Uncle Shane and Auntie Mary and first cousin of Erin and Amy. Great granddaughter of Velma (late Joe) Wierzbicki. Hope was the 4th grandchild of Laura, niece of Uncle Drew and Auntie Amanda, first cousin of Natalie and Tristan, niece of Auntie Devan, first cousin of Rebecca, great granddaughter of Becky Reid, grandniece and cousin of many. Private funeral service was held at George Darte Funeral Chapel. Cremation followed. Hope, love you Angel. Your memory and presence will be cherished in our hearts and thoughts forever.

GODIN, Emma (nee Dubreuil) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Godin at Tendercare Nursing Home, on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the tender age of 94. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Ralph Godin (predeceased in 1994). Cherished mother of Carol Grandbois (Gerry) of Moncton, N.B. Suzanne Chiasson (David), Bob, Gary (North Bay) and Denis Godin and the late Claudette Particelli (Henry). Dear grandmother of David Particelli (Lisa) of Moonstone, Ontario, Lisa Particelli of Toronto, Henry Particelli Jr. (Laurie) of Nashville, Tenn., Renee Grandbois White (Colin), Jason Grandbois (Sonia) of Halifax, Peter Godin of Thunder Bay, Colin Godin of South Korea and Dan Chiasson. Great grandmother of Max and Sebastian, Liam and Emma White and Jonah Grandbois. Emma is survived by her sisters Florette Hawken (Timmins), Paquerette Desgagne (Dubreuilville) and Helene Blais (Sudbury) and her brothers Augustin Dubreuil (Soulange) of Montreal and Marcel Dubreuil (Yolande) of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Nap and Joachim Dubreuil and the late Theresa Roy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nikolaj was a retired employee of the Lambton Kent District School Board, a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church and formerly owned and operated the Diamond Taxi Company in Sudbury, Ontario. Proud Veteran of World War II. Beloved husband of Hertha (Helen) (Golda) Mymka for 60 years. Loving father of Anna Chester, Nadia Krane, Nicholas Mymka ( Mary-Ellen Brohman). Dear grandfather of Carole Ann Smith (Dwayne), Valarie Wafer (Mark), Christine Downer (Chris), Dana Merrington (Brett), Dawn Murray (Keith), Tara Smith (Trevor). Beloved wife of the late Raymond Westgate (1985). Loving mother of Lynda (Gary) Mater of Petrolia, Mike (Jill) Mundy of Marthaville. Dear grandmother of Matt Mater, Sarnia; Kelly (Gregg) French, Amherstburg; Rodney, Emma and Mya Mundy, Marthaville. Great Grandmother of Calvin and Bailey Mater. Survived by step children John Westgate, England; Trudy and Bill Vanderzwart, Marthaville; Brian and Laurie Westgate, Sarnia; Edward and Sandra Westgate, Inwood; Jane and Rick Brown, British Columbia; as well as 13 step children and 12 great step grandchildren. Predeceased by her mother Hannah (Leader) Little (2004) and step granddaughter Katrina Vanderzwart (1986). She will be greatly missed by her special friends Leo Cloutre, Tom and Candace Racher, Rich and Janet Worsely as well as many nieces and nephews ... especially Spikey. Ladell worked at Prestolite for 26 years, She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 30 years, as well as the Legion Ladies Auxillary. She was past president of the Ladies Auxillary Branch 216. She was also Zone “A“ Sports Officer for several years. Currently she is a life time member of Branch 388 Wyoming Ladies Auxillary. Grace was in her 84th year, retiree of C.G.E. (44 years). She will be sadly missed by Elaine & Dave Collinson and family of Keswick and dear friend Jean Gill and will be fondly remembered by cousins Velma (Reg) Stewart, Grace Stanley and Clinton Stewart and all her many dear friends. Predeceased by her parents Margaret & Thomas Stewart and her sister Jean Stewart. Beloved husband of Madeleine (Hadvick) for 51 years. Father of Murray (Nancy) Ellis, Calgary and Barbara (Keith) Thompson, Port Moody. Papa to Kyle and Katelyn Thompson. Brother to Mabel Logan, Sarnia, Florence (Raymond) Holley, Varna. Maxine McKay, Sarnia and Fran Gower, Dwight, ON. Brother-in-law to Maxine Ellis and Shirley Ellis. Predeceased by parents Herbert and Luella Ellis, Brothers - Delmar, Harold (Bonnie) & Floyd. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He belonged to Masonic Order for 50 years, worked for Vancouver School Board in the Maintenance Dept. for 35 years. He enjoyed playing golf, and watching many sports on TV, as well as being a host and tour guide for any visitors from around Lambton County. BOURNE - Marion Isabel Bourne (nee Collier), 75 years, of Petrolia, died at the Lambton Hospitals Group – C.E.E. Hospital, Petrolia, surrounded by her family, after a long and courageous battle, on Friday, April 25, 2003. Marion was born June 1, 1927 in Brigden. She worked for several years as a health care aide at Twilight Haven and enjoyed her holidays at Pike Bay, Ontario. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Jack Bourne (2000), the dear mother of Jack Bourne Jr. of Sarnia, Cheryl and John Vanden Berg and Kevin Bourne of Petrolia and Colleen and Jim McLean of Oil City, grandma of Stephanie and Darren Allan, Rob Bourne and Christa Whitlock, Lonnie and Janice Bourne all of Petrolia, Patrick and Keith Bourne of Corunna and Andrew McLean of Oil City, great grandma of David Allan and Kaila Bourne of Petrolia; the dear sister of Marjorie Godfrey and Kathleen McGregor both of Petrolia, the sister-in-law of Arlene Bourne of Petrolia and Madeline and Bert Pauschenwein of Sarnia.and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Melissa Collier, her father and mother-in-law, Basil and Elsie Bourne, her brothers, Everett and William Collier, sister, Eva Taylor and brother-in-law, Roy (Bud) Bourne. The funeral service to celebrate the life of Marion Bourne was held at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia, on Monday, April 28, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Ralph Meiszinger of First Baptist Church, Petrolia officiating. The eulogy was given by Arlene Bourne and Heather Russell. During the service, the hymn “Because He Lives” was sung by those present and the hymn “Amazing Grace” was sung by Lorne Godfrey and Laurie Johnston. Interment was in Hillsdale cemetery , Petrolia. The pallbearers were: Rob, Lonnie and Patrick Bourne, Darren Allan, Larry Nurse and Ron Collier. The flower bearers were: Keith Bourne, Andrew McLean, David Allan and Jacklyn Russell. Loving grandfather of Shay and Kelly, Brett and Keely, Tyler, Kurtis, Jana, Katelyn, Jackson and Frediani (Fredi). Dear great grandfather of Ethan and Kaden. Dear brother of William (Bill) and Donna Gray of Cheboygan, MI, Lois and Paul Marley of Wyoming, Keith and Wendy Gray of Toronto and the late Eugene (1943), Goldie (1986) and Alex Gray (1993), and brother-in-law of Jean Gray of Wyoming. Predeceased by his parents, Jim and Lyla Gray. Ken served his country during World War 2, serving with the R.C.R. overseas for over 5 years. Ken was a member and Honorary Elder of Wyoming United Church, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #388, a member and Past Master of Burns Masonic Lodge #153 and a member and Past Patron of Wyoming Chapter #236 O.E.S., a past-president of the Plympton-Wyoming Agricultural Society, a former councilor in the Village of Wyoming (16 years and 6 as reeve), Lambton County Warden in 1962 and served on the Lambton County Board of Education for 16 years and 2 years as chairman. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the WYOMING CHAPEL, Broadway St., Wyoming. The funeral service will be held at the Wyoming United Church on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Doug Wright officiating. Interment in Wyoming cemetery.
