Joseph Richard Brennan

After a courageous battle with cancer, JOSEPH RICHARD BRENNAN, 61 years, of Petrolia, surrounded by his family, passed away at Bluewater Health – CEE Site, Petrolia, on Monday, November 22, 2004. Joe is survived by his children, Doug Brennan of Corunna, Denise and Al Pikkert of Petrolia, Don and Dawn Brennan of Petrolia, Brian Brennan of British Columbia. and Joe and Nikki Brennan of Sarnia, and the “children of his heart”, Mike Smyth of Sarnia and the late Tina Devost (2001)and his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeff and Heather, Kenton and Anne, Liah, Keira, Anni, Joel, Josh and Andrea. He is also survived by his brothers, Jim and Evelyn Brennan and Bill Brennan and sisters, Frieda and Pete Emmons, Mary Metcalfe, Helen and Murray Hall and Shirley and Dennis Dudley. Joe is also survived by his many wonderful and caring friends from “The Grove.” Joe was predeceased by his wonderful parents, John and Mary Brennan and brothers, Earl and Patrick. A service to celebrate the life of Joe Brennan will be held at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia, on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Sandra Durrant officiating. MARTIN - Climbing her final mountain, at Banff National Park, ANGELA MARTIN, died on Sunday, September 12, 2004 in her 24th year. Beloved daughter of Michael and Cathy Martin of Oil Springs. Dear sister of Theresa, Paul and Stephen. Loved granddaughter of Clara and the late Euclid (1995) Martin of Inwood and Harry and Anne Slegers of Strathroy. Special friend of McKenzie Mills of Alberta. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Angela attended St. Philip’s School and L.C.C.V.I. in Petrolia, where she was involved in the art and music departments. She studied textile design at Sheridan College before pursuing her interests abroad. Angela was a free spirited adventurer and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
