Dear mother and grandmother of June Babister of Cambridge and her children Shawn, Amie and Breann, Karen Kuchta and Kim Price of Pain Court and her children Chris and Eric, Dougald and Jennifer McMurphy of Oil Springs and their children, Vicky, Adam and Brent, Leonard and Debbie McMurphy of Dresden and their children, Sara, Kristen, Christopher and Andrea, Wayne and Gail McMurphy of Oil Springs and their children, Jillian and Lee and Archie McMurphy of Parry Sound and his son Jordan. Dear sister of Leroy and Celina Kersey of Kitchener, Grant and Donna Kersey of Oil Springs, Carlyle and Joan Kersey of Watford, Dennis Kersey of Croton, Denise McIntyre of Croton and the late Walter Kersey (1954) and Catherine Ashton (1990). At Bluewater Health – CEE Site, Petrolia, on Thursday, August 19, 2004. ARCHIE CALDER HENDERSON, 89 years, of Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia. Archie was the son of the late David and Elizabeth Henderson (nee Robinson). He was predeceased by a brother, Lorne C. Henderson (2002) and a sister, Marian Patterson (2004) and her husband, Verne. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Reta Henderson of Oil Springs, nieces, Shirley and Bruce Durance of Alvinston and Marian and Jim Redford of Chatham, nephew David and Kathy Henderson of Oil Springs, great nieces Lorilee and Kevin Fex, Lee-ah Durance, and Sarah Henderson, great nephews Phillip and Becky Henderson and Brock Redford and great great nephew and niece, Zachary and Zoe Fex. Visitors will be received on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, Petrolia. Memorial service will be held at the Lambton Meadowview Villa Chapel, on Friday, August 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Oil City United Church or the charity of your choice.

Beloved father of Penny and Jack Wallace of Chicago, Glen and Shirley Spinks of Sarnia, Goldie Spinks of Watford, Diane Farr and friend Rob of Petrolia, and Jim Spinks and friend Sandy of Sarnia. Dear grandfather of nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren. Brother to Beatrice and Roy Giffen of Strathroy, Ray Spinks of Sarnia, and Roberta Spinks and Ron Farr of Sarnia. Predeceased by his parents Cecil & Flossie (Lumley) Spinks, grandsons Mark Wallace and Don Oliver and brothers Henry (August 13, 2004), Percy, and Ross Spinks. Mr. Spinks retired from Street Cartage after 40 years service and was an Associate and Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #216, Petrolia. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 11:00 am. Beloved wife of the late John (1989). Dear mother of Peter and Rita of Kitchener, Harry and Ruth of Sarnia, Joe & Joanne of Sarnia, Sister Corrie C.S.J. of Windsor, John and Gayle of Wyoming, Henry and Michelle of Corunna, Christine and Tony Boekema of Wyoming, Dorothy and Tom Houston of Centralia, Ann and Lorne Johnson of Wyoming, Tom and Claudette of Sarnia and the late William (1954) and Albert (2004) and his wife Pat of Sarnia. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren. Predeceased by fourteen brothers and sisters. Visitors will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel, Broadway St., Wyoming, where prayers will be offered at 8:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, Huron St., Wyoming on Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Dan Vere as celebrant. Alex served his country in the R.C.A.F. and was a member of the Air Force Association and the Royal Legion Branch #216. Alex was a retired pipefitter with Local 663. Alex is survived by his girlfriend, Rita Smith of Sarnia and her granddaughter, Ashlee, his sister, Mora Grimes of Sarnia, his nieces and nephew, Mary Grimes-Henry and Lawrence Henry, Margaret Grimes and Jim and Terry Grimes, his great nieces and nephews, Andrea and Amy Henry and Jaime, Aaron and Ryan Grimes, his special buddy Pogie and the boys at 663. Special thanks to his “favourite” nurses at Bluewater Health – CEE Site and his Nelson St. neighbors. Kylie Marie McGrail

Lisa and Steve announce the birth of their precious angel, KYLIE MARIE McGRAIL, born January 17, 2004. She entered our lives prematurely and God took her to her special place on January 19, 2004. We are grateful for the time we were given to bond with Kylie, even though it was too short. Now she is heaven where she can be cuddled and loved by God, but she will live on in our hearts forever.
Even though Kylie was only with us for a short time, she touched the lives of her grandparents, Marg and Jim Scales and Lois and Joe McGrail, her uncles an aunts, Chris and Christine Scales, Mike and Karen McGrail, Jolene McGrail and Jordan McCallum and Matt McGrail and Erica Franz, her special cousins, Megan and Kevin McGrail, her great grandparents, Alice Scales, Velma and Mac Graham and Betty and Alex Wilkins, great great grandmother, Viola Fisher and numerous relatives and friends.
