Rankin, Leona Elizabeth

At the Mauno Kaihla Koti on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Loving mother of: Larry, George, Judy, Ronnie, Lorna and Wally. Grandmother and great grandmother of many. At the request of Leona, there will be no funeral services. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Finnish Resthome staff for their extra ordinary care of Leona during her stay. Rende, Paolino

After a valiant fight, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at the age of 82 years, surrounded by his family at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. Paolino was the dear husband for 54 years to Emilia Rende. Loving father of Frank (Angela), Lina Cavaliere (Gino) and Rosemary Calcafuoco (John). Devoted grandfather of Paul Rende (Natasha), Jennifer Stocco (Tom), Jessica Rende, Nick and Sergio Cavaliere and Brian, Adam and Mark Calcafuoco. Proud great-grandfather of Michaela Rende. Son of the late Angela and Giovanni Rende. Brother of the late Nicola (late Pasqualina), the late Antonio (late Anna), the late Maria Mattalo (late Frank), the late Rosina Rende and Vicenzina Brunone (Alberto). Son-in-law of the late Maria and Lorenzo Pucci. Brother-in-law of the late Carmela Lepore (late Lorenzo), Saverio Pucci (Raffaela), Frank Pucci (Antonietta), Enrico Pucci (Lillian) and the late Mary Pucci. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Grandfather of: Lisa and Michael Perry, Ricky McRae, Jamie and Shawn Morin, Curtis Gabriel, Billy Laliberte, Sylvia, Michelle and Ryan Lesage. Great-grandfather of: Elissa Perry, Britney Perry-Dyni and the late Kyle Perry-Dyni, Amanda, Breanna, Jenna and Haylee Perry. Great-great grandfather of Jarret Perry. Belanger, Norman James

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of a very dearly loved, respected and devoted husband, father and grandfather on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the age of 80 years. Norman fought long and hard but always maintained a positive attitude and a smile that warmed the heart of others. Norman's determination and strength was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife Dorothy of 55 years, his devoted sons Edwin (Paula), Ken (Linda), his adoring daughters Glenda Whorpole (Ken) and Evelyn (Dan Miles). He was a mentor and inspiration to eleven grandchildren. He instilled in them the value and importance of family. Norman leaves behind four great grandchildren. Many stories will be told to insure they will always remember their papa. He was a loving brother to three surviving sisters and he was pre-deceased by eight brothers and four sisters. He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. At the family's request a private funeral was held at Northwood Funeral Home on Saturday, November 13, 2004 with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Cremation followed. Memorial donations made to the SAH Oncology Education Fund would be appreciated by the family. As Norman requested, he was allowed to make his final journey with dignity and with his family by his side and for that we thank Drs. Lohar, Walde, Febbraro and the nursing staff at the Plummer Hospital Oncology (Colette), the Bayshore Nurses (Kim and Marnie) and the compassion shown to Norm while in your care. In addition to his dedication to his family, Norman was a very active member in the community. He was elected to the Catholic School Board and an active voice for the U.S.W.A. Retiree Committee as well as a member and participant of St. Gregory's Church. Many blessings go out to the numerous friends he has encountered. We know he has touch many hearts.

Beaulieu, Jean Gilles (Gene)

passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Sunday November 28, 2004; Gene Beaulieu at the age of 76 years. Gene was born in Lennoxville, Quebec on December 25, 1927. He leaves in mourning his sister Raymonde (Mrs. Rene Girard), his brother Gaetan of Sherbrooke, Quebec, three nieces; Daniele (Mrs. A. Couture) of Montreal, Quebec, Michele (Mrs. Y. Gaboury) of Quebec City and Marie (Mrs. K. Campbell) of Hinton, Alta. and predeceased by one nephew; Norman. Also survived by two great nephews; Vincent and Nicolas Couture and two great nieces; Laurence and Isabelle Gaboury. Gene will be sadly missed by his very special friends Gary and Mary Heeran and family. Also fondly remembered by many friends and neighbours in and around the Sault, especially in Jones Landing where he resided for 40 years. Family and friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home on Wednesday December 1, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral and committal service in the Chapel at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend Don McMillan officiating. Dear mother of; Amelia Biron (late Bill), Mary Stenabaugh (Bill) and John Luszka (Heather). Baba of; Joan Biron, Nancy Juby (Hugh), Sherry McGregor (Bob), Stephanie Duke (Kevin), Patricia Stenabaugh (Casey Stranges), Andrew Stenabaugh, Erin Luszka and Kristen Luszka. Great grandmother of; Logan, Kyle, Deanne, Michaela, Sarah and Finnigan. Sister of Vladic Badach of Poland.
