Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 17, 2004 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband to his wife Mary for 53 years. Devoted father to Steve Jr. and his wife Alice. Much loved Grandfather of Todd and his wife Nicole of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, and Shelley and her husband JamesTraver of Welland. Great-grand father to Malaika and Autumn. Steve was predeceased by his son Leslie (1979) and survived by his sister Valeria Mester from Budapest, Hungary. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm Monday, and from 2-4 and 7-9pm, on Tuesday at the JAMES L. Burton Young and loving mother of Bill and Sharon of Stevensville, Donald and Sally of Fonthill and Gary and Linda of Welland. She will be fondly remembered by her nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the JAMES L. Carl and his wife Sharon of Fenwick; and Nina Ramirez and her husband Rocky, of Big Spring, Texas. Dear grandfather of Andrew and his wife Liza, Nick, Tim, Mike, Greg, Jessica, Emily, Brian, Brad, Jeff and his wife Dawn, Dan and Rocky Jr. Survived by his sister Marylin Speck and her husband Bud of Welland. Predeceased by his mother Lillian (Becken) and father Roy. Loving father of Betty Wiley and her husband Cary of Welland, Donald Elsie and his wife Gail of R.R.# 1 Lowbanks, Donna Roy and her husband Claude of Pelham and Ken Elsie and his wife Susan of Smithville. Also loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of John Elsie and his wife Grace of Port Colborne and predeceased by his brother Ed Elsie and his sister Violet Graham and her husband Dave. Mr. Elsie had a hobby farm growing vegetables and retired from Atlas Steel where he worked as a mill operator on the 10-1 mill. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Predeceased by brothers Edward, Charles and Fred Leavens and by her twin sisters Marguerite and Violet Leavens, Dorothy Ford and her husband Henry, Florence Stortz and her husband Gerry, Ileen Little and her husband Kenneth. Beloved daughter of Margaret Howell and her husband Fred of Fonthill and the late John "Jack" Winteringham. Dear sister of Donna Roszell and her husband Jim of Burlington. Predeceased by her parents-in-law Herbert F. Cox and Katherine "Kay" Cox. Dear aunt of Lenora Banfield and her husband Shane, Owen Roszell, Blair Cox, Dennis Cox and his wife Guy Laine, Tracie Sindrey and her husband Todd, Dawn Toshack and her husband Dave, Matthew Cyr and his wife April and Morgan Cyr. Dear niece of Frances (Learn) Buchwitz and her husband Oswald and Margaret Russell and her husband Clitson. Dianne will be sadly missed by her life long friend Bonnie Norris and her family of Fergus. Dianne enjoyed her job as a program co-ordinator for Douglas Heights Seniors Centre in Fort Erie and she spent over 15 years as a supervisor with the Red Cross. She was an active volunteer in her community with Meals on Wheels, Women of Wainfleet, The Wainfleet Strategic Planning Committee and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Dianne loved her art and photography classes with her sister in Haliburton. She attended Cinefest, Showboat Theatre and the Authors Series at Roselawn. She spent hours sketching, painting and capturing life's beauty in her photographs and artwork. As a Grandma she showered her grandchildren with unconditional love and she will be sadly missed by them. Dianne lived every moment of her life for those she loved, putting their needs ahead of her own. married for 34 years to her best friend Jim and "Super Mom" for 32 years to her daughters. She has touched the lives of many people in many ways and the world is a better place because she was in it. Mrs. Cox enjoyed participating with her many friends at Garden Terrace in Portal Village, Port Colbourne taking part in many different special activities. She was also a member of the Shinning Light Bible Class for 50 years, Good Cheer Class of Fonthill Baptist Church and a member of the Welland Volunteer Fire Company #3 Ladies Auxiliary. Mr Adolf Marie Sermijn

on Thursday, December 4, 2003, beloved husband of Shirley, loving father of Donna (Gregory) Campbell, dear stepfather of Stewart (Sharon) McKenzie of Vancouver, and the late Karen McKenzie. Adoring grandpa of Brandon, Zachary and Mackenzie Campbell and Sara and Scott McKenzie. Dear brother of Susan Cockheyt of Florida. His sister Mady (Kamiel), and brothers Camiel and Albert of Belgium predeceased him. Remembered also by his god-daughter Debbie (Mike) Hartegan of Florida, and his dear friends Adolf and Simonne VanRuyskensvelde, and his god-child Danny VanRuyskensvelde all in Belgium. Adolf retired from GM in 1986. Friends will be received by the family at the JAMES L. Mr Archibald Bevens Giles

It is with sadness that the passing of Archie at the Woolcott Wing at Welland Hospital, on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2003 is announced. He is predeceased by his loving parents Arnold and Esther. He is also predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy (1991), and brothers Harold, Leo, Gordon and sisters Frieda and Irva. Archie is survived by brother-in-law Gerald Costen (Margaret), sister-in-law Cora Williams and nieces Rosemary Costen and Mary White (Dale) and nephews Joe Ralph (Carolyn), Leo Giles (Agnes) and Robert Giles (Helen) and their families. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten by niece Jan Wininger and her husband David. Archie was born January 19th, 1911 in Fonthill where he spent his entire life. His career as an electrician spanned many years in the Niagara area, until retirement to his farm on Port Robinson Road. Archie had many interests. Archie owned and flew his own plane for many years in the early part of his life and liked to recount his flying adventures with his friends at the coffee gathering each morning that he attended since his retirement. Special thanks to the staff at Shorthills Villa where Archie resided during his latter life, and his close friends who were loyal and special people in his life. Family and friends will be received at the JAMES L.
