Charles Augustus Coville

1932-2002

At the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2002; Charles Augustus Coville of Kingston and formerly of Brockville, at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of the former Marjorie Johnston. Loving father of Shelley and her husband Blair Haines of Simcoe. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Blair Jr. and Erik Haines. Dear brother of Clarence Coville (Pearl) of Smiths Falls, Duane Coville (Jennie) of Brockville, Sheila Grice (Bud) of Harrowsmith, Lorraine McIlvenna (Bud) of Athens, and Elaine McKenna (Bruce) of Kingston. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Edith Coville of R.R. 2 Brockville.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Saturday after 10:30am. In celebration of Charles' life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel Saturday at 11:30am. Interment at a later date at Maynard Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Parkinson's Society, the New Life Centre (Kingston), or the Marnard Pentecostal Church Sunday School will be gratefully acknowledged.

Theresa O'Grady

1929-2002

(Retired Registered Nurse of St. Vincent de Paul Hospital). On Thursday, April 4th, 2002 at the Kingston General Hospital. Beloved wife of Clement O'Grady of Brockville. Daughter of the late Angus MacLean and the former Katherine Morrison. Besides her husband she is survived by her three children Karen Newbury and husband Gary and grandson Donald of Brockville; Kevin O'Grady of Brockville; and Ken O'Grady and friend Linda of Johnstown. Also survived by her sisters Margaret Hickey of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Rita Anstey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Katherine Ellis (Dennis) of Kingston, and by her brother Angus MacLean and his wife Theresa of Sydney, Nova Scotia, as well as by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers, Stephen, Alexander and Francis MacLean.

By request there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to gather for the celebration of the Liturgy of the Christian Funeral at St. Francis Xavier Church on Saturday, April 6th at 10am. Cremation to follow at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium with interment at a later date at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville.

William Wayne Bolton

1913 - 2002

At the Brockville General Hospital surrounded by his family on April 8th 2002 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the former Eva Irene Hudson. Dear father of Ron Bolton and his wife Betty and Donna Keetch and her husband Lloyd all of Brockville. Sadly missed by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Step brother of Lorne Buker of Brockville. Predeceased by a step sister Fernie Hitchcock.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, April 10th after 1pm until 2pm when a celebration of Wayne's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In memoriams to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Cancer Society or the Kidney Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.

Margaret Jean Bouillon

1910 - 2002

Peacefully on Monday, April 8th, 2002 at the Brockville General Hospital. Loving wife of Selwyn and devoted mother of Diane Manion (Paul), Katharine McIntyre (James) and the late Joan Langlois (Dave). Loving grandmother of James, Wade (Paulette) and Debbie Langlois; Ryan, Peter and Michael McIntyre; and great grandmother of Tyler and Kylee Langlois. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Brockville General Hospital for their care and compassion.

In celebration of Jean's life, a ceremony will be held in the Chapel Friday at 3pm. Cremation to follow at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.

David I. Snell

1924 - 2002

Passed peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2002 at the Brockville General Hospital; David Ian Snell at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of F. Dawn (Childerhose) Snell. Also survived by his sister Patricia Smith of Brockville, by several nieces and nephews, and by sisters-in-law Joan Tench of Lyn and Diaan Ainslee of New York City. Predeceased by his brothers Donald and Herbert Snell and by his sister Marjorie Fisher.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the S.P.C.A. or charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged and may be arranged with Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.

John Edward Howard Sprigings

Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday, April 13, 2002 at the Brockville General Hospital after a full and active life. Beloved husband of Gale, and of the late Grace Keenan. Loving father of Kathryn & her husband Bob Hall of Orillia, Gael & her husband John Dodd of Langley, B.C., and Eric Sprigings & his wife Barbara of Saskatoon; and step-father of Gary Less & his wife Danielle of Boston, Patrick Less of Toronto, and Tammy & her husband Jeffrey Whitteker of Chesterville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Michael Hall, Jennifer Hall & her husband Rob Grand, Alison Hall, Stephen & David Dodd, Fraser & Jennie Sprigings; and step-grandchildren Joshua, Benjamin, Joelle & Noah Less; Morgan & Cassidy Whitteker. Predeceased by his brother Gordon Sprigings.

Lawrence Henry "Joe" VanDusen

1922 - 2002

At Brockville General Hospital, suddenly on April 14th, 2002; Lawrence VanDusen of R.R. 3 Brockville at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the former Lois Sheets. Loving father of Eric VanDusen, Jeremy VanDusen and his wife Loretta, and Carolyn Avery. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Adam VanDusen, Regina VanDusen, Colin and Hillary Avery. Also survived by his sister Margaret Nunn of Kingston. Predeceased by his brothers Walter and Nelson VanDusen& sister Dorothy Grier.

Family and friends are invited to a ceremony in celebration of Joe's life at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, April 17th at 11am. Dorothy Mary "Dorie" Fleming

1909 - 2002

At Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville, on April 15, 2002 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late James Noble Fleming. Dear grandmother of Beth Fortier and her husband Tony of R.R. 2 Prescott. Fondly remembered by her great grandchildren Jarred, Trevor and Dylan. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Marianne Fleming of Brockville. Predeceased by her only son William Fleming.

Mildred "Millie" Eileen Pullan

1926 - 2002

Peacefully at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Brockville surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 17, 2002 in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Pullan. Loving mother of Arthur L. Pullan and his wife Betty, Shirley Pryer and her husband Garry, Sharon Rice and her husband Larry, Beverly Van Iterson and Debbie Stafford and her husband Ray. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren, Roxanne, Jennifer, Bill, Art, Betty, Ashley, Brittany, Herbie and Malissa. Also survived by her brother Orval Ladd and his wife Pat of Lyn. Fondly remembered by her dear friend Mabel Smith. Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Hazel (Hunter) Ladd, a son Danny, a grandson Rodney, brothers Arnold, Harry and Lawrence Ladd and by one sister Esther Perkins.

Nelson Horatio Allen

1942 - 2002

Suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, April 19, 2002 at the age of 59 years. Son of Nina Allen of Brockville and the late Nelson Allen. Beloved husband of Lois Rayvals of New Wexford and loving father of Jennifer Venema of Athens, Stacy Allen (Scott Stephenson) of Prescott and Jason Allen (Lesley) of Mallorytown. Dear grandfather of Nelson Venema, Joey and Levi Graves. Brother of Pat (Bill Hodgkinson) of Mallorytown and Douglas Allen (Sharon) of Lombardy. Fondly remembered by his step-children Devra, Tamara and Michael Rayvals. Also survived by his aunts Mary Davis of Mallorytown and Edna Spicer of Prescott as well as several cousin, nieces and nephews.
