Jeffrey James Bissonnette
1969 - 2003

At his residence on March 18, 2003 in his 34th year. Beloved husband of Angie Snider Bissonnette. Dear father of Morgan. Son of Wilda Bissonnette and the late Robert Bissonnette. Brother of Bob and his wife Barb Bissonnette of Brockville. Son-in-law of Herb and Faye Snider. Brother-in-law of Kevin (Esther) Snider and Doug (Wilma) Snider all of Brockville. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by a daughter Sarah.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A private funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday. Cremation will follow at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium. In memoriams to a education fund for Morgan or the Neo Natal Unit of the Kingston General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged.

Claud Cheetham
1913 - 2003

At Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the age of 90 years. Husband of the late Ellen Blanche (Crawford) Cheetham. Dear father of Lois Telgen (Art) of North Channel, David Cheetham (Bernadette) of Cardinal, Lucille DeDekker of Prescott, Alvin "Jerry" Cheetam of Prescott and Robert Cheetham of Lyn. Fondly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Bonnie Yateman, his son Chelaies Cheetham and son-in-law Valere DeDekker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 3 o'clock. Interment at a later date at Maynard cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Cancer Society or the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.

Rosella Moxley "Rose"
1930 - 2003

On Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the Hospice of Providence; Rosella (Shire) Moxley at the age of 73 years. Dear mother of Marion Greer (Don Brooks) of Brockville. Loving grandmother of Stephen Moxley, Anthony Stewart and Tammy Gravelle (Erik) all of Brockville, and fondly remembered by her great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Lillian Gibson of Brockville, and her brother Harold Shire of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her son Harold Moxley and parents Charles and Fanny Shire.

Oscar Gifford
1912 - 2003

Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, March 21, 2003. Oscar Samuel Gifford in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite Hobbs. Loving brother of Betty Shaw and her husband Hubert and George Gifford and his wife Donna. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Evelyn and Vivian Gifford, Marion Preston and Peggy Gifford. Predeceased by brothers Harold, Jack, Gerald, Winston ,Burton, Robert and Ralph Gifford and by sisters Doris Blain and Dorothy Hobbs.

A ceremony in celebration of Oscar's life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96 will gather for a memorial service Monday evening at 7 pm.

Lorne Buker
1917 - 2003

Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, March 23, 2003, Lorne Melvin Buker, age 86 years. Beloved husband of Helen (Bullied) Buker. Loving father of Brian Buker and Michael Buker (Beth) of Brockville and Cheryl Buker (Peter Swoboda) of Calgary, Alberta. Dear grandpa to Michelle Goring (Mike) of Wallenstein, Ontario, Peter and Christopher Swoboda of Calgary and John Buker of Brockville. Great-grandfather to Meghan and Jaime Goring of Wallenstein. Special uncle to Carole Foster (Donald) of Newbliss. Predeceased by his parents Melvin and Cornelia (Perrin) Buker, his step-mother Hanna Buker, and infant son Kevin Brent Buker, his sister Fernie Hitchcock and his step-brother Wayne Bolton.

At the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Alice Deion. Dear father of Laurine Dennett (Wilfred), Mary Culver (Bob), Edward Deion, Sharon Gill (Carl), Gordon Deion, Freda MacDonald (Darren), and Thelma Lefebvre (Caude). Also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brother of Katherine DeBruge.

(Retired Nitrochem Employee) At the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, March 26th, 2003 after a brief illness in his 83rd year. Born in Italy on April 16, 1920. Beloved husband of Ellen (Smith) Malato of Brockville. Dear brother of Renato Malato and his wife Lucille of Montreal, Carlo Malato and Maria Pidimonte both in Italy. Fondly remembered by his special friend Katherine Borrett, his Godson Paolo in Italy, and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings Rita, Olimpia and Nicola.

Elizabeth Florence (Betty) Gearey
1919 - 2003

On Saturday, March 29th, 2003 at Sherwood Park Manor, Brockville in her 84th year. Predeceased by her parents John and Edith Gearey. Survived by several cousins in England and the United States. Miss Gearey was a retired Parke-Davis employee and member of St. Paul's Anglican Church.

Private arrangements in keeping with Betty's wishes are in the care of the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville with cremation at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland. Interment at a later date at Oakland cemetery. In remembrance, donations to Sherwood Park Manor or St. Paul's Anglican Church will be gratefully acknowledged.

1926 - 2003

On Saturday, April 5, 2003 at the Brockville General Hospital; Glen Allan Jannack of R.R. 3 Mallorytown at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Allison and Melinda Jannack. Dear brother of Hurbert B. Jannack, Alfred W. Jannack (Margaret), and Fred Jannack (Gwen). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Opal Howison and his brother Basil Jannack.

Beloved husband of Nancy Lane and step father of Dorothy Ann and Robert. Loving grandfather of Christopher. Dear brother of Magda Laaneorg, Melita Noges, Vivi Kivi (Harold), Karl Lane (Eileen), and Pavo Laaneorg all of Toronto, and Raivo Laaneorg (Asa) of Richmond Hill. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Val, Anne, Robert, Ingrid, Susan, John, Wendy, David, Andrea and their families. Predeceased by his parents Karl and Ida Laaneorg, his brother-in-law Elmar Noges, and sisters-in-law Jacqueline and Ann Laaneorg.

Dear brother of Alfred Jannack (Margaret) and Fred Jannack (Gwen). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Opal Howison and by brothers Glen, Bruce and Basil Jannack.
