Regina Marie Lake

1924 - 2003

Peacefully at the Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre in Ottawa on Thursday, July 3, 2003. Regina Marie Cauley, at the age of 78 years. Wife of the late Lloyd Robert Lake. Loving mother of Stephen Lake (Jenny Pelletier) of Brockville and Jennifer and her husband John Casselman of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Partick and Kristina Lake and Justin and Meghan Casselman. Dear sister of Jim and Lawrence Cauley of Brockville. Predeceased by her sister Phyllis Lawson.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The celebration of the Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday, July 7th at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged.

Joseph Fitzpatrick

1939 - 2003

At the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the age of 64 years. Dear father of Glen Fitzpatrick and his wife Carole of Kingston and Geraldine Fitzpatrick and her husband David Allard of Newcastle. Loved grandfather of Amanda and Paul Fitzpatrick and Sean and Madeleine Allard. Also survived by brothers Harry and Keith, and sisters Mary and Jean. Predeceased by brothers Lorne and Cyril.

A private ceremony will be held at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland, where cremation will take place. Interment at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Alumette Island. In remembrance, donations to the charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.

Eleanor Marlene Place

1936 - 2003

Entered into rest at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital Brockville on July 12, 2003 at the age of 66 years. Dear mother of Ray Place and his wife Betty-Dawn of Brockville. Loving grandmother to Lindsay Raye Place. Dear sister of William Steenburgh and his wife Yvonne of Coldwater and Barbara Stewart and her husband Craig of Athens. Predeceased by her parents Morley and Jessie Steenburgh.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 o'clock. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.

Douglas Grant Lee

1936 - 2003

At the Brockville General Hospital suddenly on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Gibson) of R.R. 4 Brockville. Loving father of Sandra Burton (John), Tanya Firmage (Clarence) all of Maitland, and Amy Lee of Brockville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Jessica, Zachary, Brittany, Christopher and Anna. Dear brother of Betty Metherol of Woodville, Russell Stiner of Cobourg, Michael Stiner of Pontypool and David Stiner of Uxbridge. Predeceased by brothers Peter and Paul Stiner.

Marguerite Anna Baker

1911 - 2003

At Wellington House, Prescott, on July 13, 2003 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Baker. Dear mother of Margie Mulvihill and her husband Peter of Lyn, and Nancy Jonkman and her husband John of Brockville. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Matthew Mulvihill (Laura) of Kingston, Amy Durant (Dan) of Nepean, Sarah Mulvihill, Joseph and Christopher Jonkman all of Brockville. Sadly missed by three great grandchildren, Katie and Samuel Mulvihill, and Dillan Durant. Dear sister of Jack Earle of Brockville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sister-in-law Helen Earle.

George Andrew Saunders

1919 - 2003

Entered into rest suddenly on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at the Brockville General Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Betty May Saunders (nee Bennett). Loving father of Roger Andrew Saunders and his wife Barbara Anne of Parry Sound, Sharon Elaine Belanger of Brockville, and Wayne Dale Saunders and his wife Melanie of Addison. Sadly missed by his six grandchildren, Shawn, Robert, Kate, Christopher, Erin and Robyn and by great grandson Alexander. Dear brother of Tommy Saunders of Brockville. Predeceased by brothers Ronald and Reginald Saunders both of B.C. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In celebration of George's life a service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday 1pm. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimers Society of Leeds and Grenville will be gratefully acknowledged. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 96, will gather for a Veteran's Service of Remembrance on Thursday at 12 noon.

At her Brockville home on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the age of 86 years. Wife of the late James Peterkin. Fondly remembered by her dear friend Carol Jackson of Brockville.

Private cremation to be held at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland.

Louis Ceccarelli

1924 - 2003

At the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of Anne (Goodison) Ceccarelli. Also survived by his son David Louis Ceccarelli of California.

A private graveside service and burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville. In remembrance, donations to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acnowledged.

Eleanor Rogers

1913 - 2003

On July 31, 2003 at the St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville. Eleanor Malott Rogers, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Frank J. E. Rogers in 1989. Lovingly remembered by her daughter Nancy Stevens and her husband Charlie, by her grandson Michael Stevens, and by her son David Rogers and his partner Lawrie McEwan. Eleanor is survived by her sisters-in-law Aleda Livingston and Marjorie Rogers and by her nieces and nephews and their families - Michael Carnahan, Peter Carnahan, Gail Hoskin, Margaret George and Gary Rogers. Our family is grateful to the staff of St. Lawrence Lodge for their compassion and understanding and to Carole Kelsey for her commitment and loving kindness.

A celebration of Eleanor's life will be held at Wall St. United Church, Brockville on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 3:00 o'clock. Visitation will take place in the Heritage Hall of Wall St. United Church one hour before the service. In memoriam donations may be made to St. Lawrence Lodge, Wall Street United Church or a charity of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.

Lloyd R. Kelly

1928 - 2003

At the Brockville General Hospital on Sunday, August 3, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Husband of the late Belva Kelly. Loving father of Newton Kelly of Alberta, Kathleen Bradley (Daniel), Randall Kelly (Lisa) and Dennis Kelly (Cindy) all of Brockville. Survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, his sister Dorothy Hall and brother Fred Kelly. Predeceased by children Nancy Lee and Raymond Kelly, Brothers and sisters, Edwin, Gerald, Charles, Leonard, Lawrence, Frank, Donald, Elmer, Clarence, Arthur, Garnet, Thelma, Helen and Bessie.

Family and friends may call at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday after 11 am until 1 pm when services will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Maynard Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Allan Risk Curry

1928 - 2003

Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Beloved husband of Shirley (Fields) Curry of Brockville. Loving father of Duncan Curry (Tahra) of Montreal, Stewart Curry (Stephanie) of Ottawa, and Elizabeth Curry of Vancouver. Devoted grandfather to Christopher, Jeffrey, Justin, Taylor and Parker. Dear brother of John Curry of London, England. Sadly missed by his many nieces , nephews and numerous friends. Predeceased by his parents John and Madge Curry and by his sister Margaret Curry.

Family and friends are invited to a ceremony in celebration of Allan's life on Monday, July 21st at 2 o'clock at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville followed by a gathering in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Cremation will take place at the Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland with interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, Magog, Quebec at a later date.
