Mrs. Elaine Gerow
1947-2003

Long-time and devoted employee of Falcon Security. On Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the Brockville General Hospital after a brief illness; Elaine Hurlbert Gerow (nee Eldridge), at the age of 56 years. Loving daughter of Mrs. Theresa Eldridge of Brockville and the late Charles Eldridge and wife of the late Lyle Hurlbert. Beloved mother of Rick Hurlbert (Kim) of Prescott, Julie Coles (John) of North Augusta, and Brenda Kendrick (Ian) of Kemptville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Brendan, Kyle, Justin and Madelaine. Dear sister of Ruth Sargent, Ron Eldridge (Dianna), Larry Eldridge (Kathy) and David Eldridge (Joe). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, by her aunts Anne Ronald and Mary Dowling. Sister-in-law of Lois Washkurak (Steve). Fondly remembered by Bruce Cousson.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 3- 5 pm & 7-9pm. In celebration of Elaine's life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 3 pm. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In remembrance, donations to The Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Society of Leeds and Grenville will be gratefully acknowledged.

Unice Lillian Jenkinson
1922 - 2003

On Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at the Brockville General Hospital; the former Unice Duncan at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Ivan Jenkinson and loving mother of Richard and Garry Jenkinson all of Brockville. Also survived by her brother John Duncan & his wife Millie, a sister-in-law Nellie Duncan, and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Thomas and Anna Duncan, and by two brothers, Bryson and Edward Duncan.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In celebration of Unice's life the funeral service will take place on Friday at 2 o'clock in the Irvine Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In remembrance, donations to the charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged.

Roger Lee Kelly
1942 - 2003

At Kingston General Hospital on October 8, 2003 at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Vera (Massey) Kelly of Lyn. Loving father of Sherry MacFarlane (Gary) of Lyn, Joan Dean (Keith) of RR 4 Mallorytown, Danny Kelly (Sue) of Lyn, and the late Terry Kelly. Dear Poppy of grandchildren Melanie, Mindy, Crystal, Nichole, Anthony, Ryan, Sasha, Melissa, Dan and Amanda; and great-grandchild Kateesha. Also survived by his sister Betty Steacy (David) and a nephew David of Lyn; by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Jean Wynne (Mike), Barb Campbell (Donald), Wayne Massey (Sue), Bonnie Roduner (Bruno), Alan Massey, Judy Kovacs (Andy) and June Ufford (Ron). Predeceased by parents Arthur and Lillian Kelly of Lyn, and by parents-in-law Cyrus and Anna Massey.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. In celebration of Roger's life the funeral service will be held in the Chapel Saturday at 11am. Interment Lyn cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Heritage Place Museum will be gratefully acknowledged.

Gilberte (Betty) Moore
1914-2003

At the Brockville General Hospital on October 8, 2003 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late George Moore. Dear mother of George T. Moore and his wife Heather of Brockville and Douglas Moore and his wife Patricia of Winnipeg. Dear grandmother of Leslie (Aaron Wade) and Lyndsay. Sister of Theresa Wilson of Brockville. Predeceased by a brother Harry L'Anglais and a sister Simone L'Anglais.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1 pm. Cremation will follow at the Roselawn Tribute Centre & Crematorium, Maitland. Peacefully at the North York General Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2003. Brian Peter Roy Burbridge at the age of 51 years. Loving son of Nellie (Halka) Burbridge of Brockville and the late Roy C. Burbridge. Beloved husband and friend of Judy (Cougler) Burbridge of Pembroke and cherished father of Gregory of Hamilton and Matthew of London. Dear brother of Terry Ferguson & her husband Bruce, Bonnie Markell & her friend Leonard, Ted Burbridge & his wife Dianne, Gary Burbridge & his wife Kim, and Roy Burbridge & his wife Dawn. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends and co-workers.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 11 am - 1 pm. A ceremony in celebration of Brian's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 pm followed by a brief gathering in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. A committal service will take place immediately after the reception, at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland, with interment in The Tower Columbarium.

In remembrance, donation to The Brockville Community Foundation's Brockville Collegiate Institute Student Excellence Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged.

Gordon Clark Reynolds
1923-2003

Peacefully at the Brockville General hospital on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Winifred Reynolds and loving father of Alice Mallette of R.R. 4 Brockville. Dear grandfather of Deanna Mallette and Gregory Mallette. Fondly remembered by his sister Alice Warren of Morristown, New York and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gordon Reynolds and Arminda Whaley, his son William Gordon Reynolds in infancy, his brother Melvin Reynolds, and by his son-in-law Gene Mallette.

Winifred Ella Gordon
1907 - 2003

passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at the age of 96 years. Wife of the late Peter Gordon. Loving mother of Janice Penney and her husband Lindsay of R.R. 2 Brockville and cherished grandmother of Lorna Penney of Brockville and Bruce Penney of Toronto. Predeceased by her parents Walter Inkpen and Sophia Pocock, sisters Elsie (Jack Argue), Doris (Stanley Cattermul), Marjorie (George Davidson), Irene Inkpen, Phyllis (Bill Scaife) and her brother Jack Inkpen (Margaret).

Following cremation at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland, family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, October, 22, 2003 after 10 am until 11 am when a celebration of Mrs. Gordon's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant cemetery , Toronto at a later date.

In remembrance, donations to The Brockville Humane Society or The Project Reach Out Fund (Mission Work in Ghana, West Africa) would be gratefully acknowledged.

Marge Plunkett
1931 - 2003

(Retired, Richardson Greenshields) Peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2003 at the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, Brockville; the former Margaret Mae Whiteland at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Harold Plunkett and loving mother of Tom of Mallorytown, and Tracy and her husband Paul Schliesmann of Elgin. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jessie, Matthew, Adam and Rachel. Marge was the daughter of the late James and Geraldine (Andress) Whiteland and was also predeceased by brothers Frederick and Gerald (Dewey) Whiteland.

In celebration of Marge's life a ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2pm. Interment will follow at Oakland cemetery. Francis Eileen Keyes
1923 - 2003

At the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the age of 80 years. Dear mother of Darlene Keyes of Niagara Falls, Daniel Keyes of Brockville, and Patricia Kennedy (Brian) of R.R. 1 Lansdowne. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer Kennedy (and her fiance Brad Breckenridge), Robert Kennedy , David Botbyl and Doug Wilson. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters.

1952 - 2003

Suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at the age of 51. Bruce is survived by his wife Joy Easter, his stepmother Jean Easter and his special friend Chris Elliott. Dear brother of Gary Easter (Sheila), Sue Jackson (Claire), Nancy Hellyer (Bob), Elaine McLarry (Elmer) and Faye Bissonnette (Larry). Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Lorraine Easter, sister Donna-Marie and brother Malcolm (Mack) Easter.
