After an illness at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her parents Michal and Aniela Babiarz. Predeceased by her husband Jan Stechy. Loving mother of Anna Pelc and her husband Adam, Stanislaw and his wife Malqosia and Kazimierz and his wife Irena and the late Wladyslaw. Cherished Babcia of Jessica and Daniel; Tommy and Michael; Karol, Kasia, and Michal; and David. Dear sister of Janina Mazun, Bronislawa Cholewa, Wladyslaw Babiarz, the late Franek, the late Janek, and the late Jozef. Will also be missed by nieces and nephews, all other extended family members and friends. Loving father of Phyllis “Filomena” Falco (Joe) and Mike Stelluto. Cherished Nonno of Justin and Breanna. Dear brother of Peter Vacarella and his wife Maria. Matteo will also be missed and always loved by his sisters Bambina, Silvia and Fortuna and other family members all of Italy. Adored uncle of his nieces and nephews in Canada and in Italy. Peacefully at the Henderson Hospital on Wednesday August 12th, 2009 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband John. Loving mother of David (Barbara), Peter (predeceased), Diane (Edmundo Ramirez), Rosemary (John Godfrey) and Christopher (predeceased). Will be remembered by her 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Eileen Roos of Victoria, BC and Ted MacLeish (predeceased). Charles William Stewart of Hamilton and formerly of Sarnia, passed away at the Juravinski Cancer Center on November 26, 2010 at the age of 84. Charles was predeceased by his parents James Wasson and Elva Irene of Davis Street Sarnia, and by his sister Hazel Ilene Bailey. He is survived by his children James and Penny (Anderson) of Hamilton, Beth Edwards of Ottawa, Charly and Debbie (Wilson) of Oxford Mills, David and Elba (Mollinedo) of Toronto, his 4 grandchildren Bill, Liz, Jeff and Le-Ann as well as by his sister Mabel and (Allen) McCombs of Don Mills; Isabel and (Ron) Hayes, Winnipeg; Nancy Stewart, Wallaceburg and Mason Bailey of Blyth. Mike, peacefully passed away at 12:00 a.m. on Friday December 12, 2008. Beloved husband to Magdalena, father, Deda, brother and friend. Mike led a charmed life for 80 years, touching the hearts of many. Although we mourn his loss, and will miss him terribly, we take comfort in knowing he’s out there somewhere playing soccer. Dear brother of the late Robert Stone and his wife Lois, Margaret Austin and her husband the late Allan, Evelyn Mann and her husband Matt, and Elizabeth Hathway and her husband Nick. After graduating from Queen’s University School of Medicine in 1949, George devoted his career to Psychiatry in the Hamilton and Burlington area. George was always known and respected for putting the needs of others first and having made a positive impact on the many lives that he touched. George will always be remembered and cherished as a warm and loving Husband, devoted and supportive Dad and a patient and nurturing Grandpa. Dick is survived by his wife Helen, of 47 years, his children Donna (Joe) Fitzsimmons, Bill (Donna) Stoner, Rick Stoner (Anna), Amanda Stoner (Gabe) and Kim Burton, Grandchildren Bill Jr., James, Shane, Nick, Katie, Robert, Misty, Billy and Tina, Great-grandchildren Jacob, Elizabeth and Logan.
