BEBAMIKAWE, Victoria (Paula) E. - In loving memory of Victoria (Paula) E. Bebamikawe, August 25, 1918 - February 4, 2008, 89 years old, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of Onesime Bebamikawe (predeceased). Loving daughter of Andrew Jocko and Seraphine (nee Recollet, both predeceased). Loving mother to Celina Aiabens (David), Ambrose Bebamikawe (Rosemary), Clement Bebamikawe (Doreen), and Clifford Bebamikawe (Loretta). Dear sister to Julia Flamand. Predeceased by brothers David Jocko, Felix Jocko, and Alphonse Jocko. Loving Godmother to special Godchildren Annie Peltier, Bernice Aiabens, Helena Trudeau, Beatrice Peltier and Ursula Jacko. Will be sadly missed by 23 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends (predeceased by 2 grandchildren). She worked at the elementary schools for many years as a custodian until she retired. She enjoyed doing many activities with her family such as native crafts, picking sweetgrass and berries, quillwork, guilting, gardening and playing bingo. She loved spending time during the holiday seasons with family and her many grandchildren. Loved going to camp. Resting at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah after 12 noon Wednesday. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, Saturday, February 9th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Veterans Cemetery. Wikwemkiong. (Funeral arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME).

William Mills

MILLS, William (Bill) Lloyd passed away after a lengthy illness at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Tuesday February 5th, 2008. He leaves to celebrate his life, his wife of 55 years, Marie (nee Snow), his daughters Barbara (Dan), Brenda (Brian) and his son Bill (Sue); grandchildren, Michael and Mark Deziel, Michael and Katharine Jiricka and Ashley and Alysha Mills. Dad was born in Howe Bay, PEI May 26th, 1921 to Emma and Charles Mills. He was one of ten children. In 1939 he joined the war effort. He belonged to the 17th Duke of York Royal Canadian Hussars (7th RECCE Regiment) and was part of the D-Day invasion at Normandy, France. He suffered injuries from enemy fire that resulted in a lengthy hospital stay in England. After the war he stayed in Europe with Canadian Armed Forces to assist with the allied recovery operations. When he returned to Canada he hired on for INCO and worked for 37 years at the Levack Mine. Dad was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 503 for many years, becoming a life member in 1998. When the Legion identified a need for ambulance services in the area over forty years ago he was one of the first volunteer driver/attendants. He participated proudly in Remembrance Day parades and other Legion activities. In 2006, Dad had a medical setback that resulted in an inability to walk and he was no longer able to live at home. He moved to Pioneer Manor directly from his stay at Laurentian Hospital and has resided there since that time. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Cranberry Place - Pioneer Manor for their care and many kindnesses to Dad. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Ten Rainbows Children's Foundation. Viewing is at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., on Friday, February 8th, 2008 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. (Legion Service 7:30 p.m.). Funeral Service is at St. John's United Church, Levack at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 9th. Interment at Maplecrest Cemetery following the church service. Reception is at Levack-Onaping Legion Branch 503 at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 9th.

Betty Pigeau-Guillemette - In Memoriam

PIGEAU - GUILLEMETTE, Betty (née Cheasley) - In loving memory of Betty Pigeau - Guillemette (née Cheasley), 82 years, who passed away on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Predeceased by her first husband Henri Pigeau and second husband Joseph Guillemette, her daughter Dawn and daughter-in-law Suzanne. She will deeply be missed by her sons Garth (Fay) of Powassan, Brian of Calgary, Norman (Judie) of North Bay, David (Vicky) of Winnipeg and her daughter Berni (Mauro Picco) of Hanmer. Dear grandmother of Julie (Andy), Gary, Lee (Caroline), Louise (Craig), Dawn (Claude), Jody (Andrew), Mathew (Marion), Michael, Bailey, Shawn, Robert and Philip (Karen) and great- grandmother of Gracie, Clark, Justin, Megan, Baby Ben, Alexa and Dezera. Survived by sister Beryl and brother George in England. She will be missed by her best friend and travelling companion Carmen Shepherd, her house companion Squeek the cat and her extended family Mike, Chris, Angele, Chantel and Mickey Michelle Mouse Gour. She'll also be missed by the gang from Destiny Ridge Farms. Born in England Betty was a War Bride. She was an auxillary member of the St. John's Ambulance, Therapy Dog Unit. Her passions were knitting, action movies, travel, animals and a good cup of tea. At Betty's request there will be no visitations or Funeral Service. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.

Helen “Honey“ Ester (Salonen) Stone

STONE, Helen “Honey“ Ester (Salonen) - In loving memory of Helen “Honey“ Ester (Salonen), 81 years, who passed away Monday evening, February 4th, 2008 at her home. Beloved wife of Thomas Stone of Sudbury. Loving mother of Stuart (wife Helen) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Michael and Lee Ann (husband Nick Bota), and great-grandchild Niko. Dear daughter of Arvo and Leah Salonen both predeceased. Dear sister of Evi Heino of Sudbury. Honey was loved by all, especially by children. She loved the outdoors, nature, gardening and especially spending time at camp. Honey was an avid bowler and golfer, and a great fisherman. Son of the late Albert and of the late Hélène (née Chevrier) Thibeault. Husband of the late Ernestine Thibeault (née Fex). Loving brother of Normand Thibeault (Simone) of Azilda. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Cécile McLean (late Eddy), Béatrice Ross (late Pierre), Patrick (late Émilie), Lilly Gagnon (late Yvon) and Lucien (Laurence of Montreal). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, CHELMSFORD, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, February 7th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.

Margot Carolyn Waugh

WAUGH, Margot Carolyn - We announce with great sorrow the passing of Margot Carolyn Waugh suddenly at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Monday, February 4th, 2008. Wife of Thomas Waugh for 32 years. Second mother to Jennifer and Christopher. Grandmother to Britney and Zachery. Mother-in-law of Cathy Kay and Chris Parsons. Longtime friend of Josie Keenan and Carole Kolisnek. A constant and willing volunteer for the Heart and Stroke, Lung Association, Bowling for the Kidney Foundation and Bowling with Sudbury Wolves for Kids. Margot was also an avid Wolves fan. The family wish to thank Dr. DeBlacam, Dr. Vijay and the nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Health Centre. Margot will be missed by her family and many friends. Ledda (nee Della Vedova) Wojcik

WOJCIK, Ledda (nee Della Vedova) - February 8th, 1927 - February 4th, 2008 “Life is not forever - Love is“ - In loving memory of Ledda Wojcik who passed away peacefully at home with her loving daughters at her side following a brave battle with cancer. Ledda was predeceased by her dear husband Walter (1996) and will be greatly missed by Janice (husband Carlos) of Caledon and Sandra of Toronto. Fondly remembered by her many friends and relatives including Wanda of Toronto, brother Othello “Gus“ Della Vedova and wife Theresa of Garson and their family. Predeceased by her parents Santina and Ernesto Della Vedova. Ledda was born and lived her life in Garson. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a longtime member of St. John's Parish and the Catholic Women's League. She was also a former employee of Canada Post. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Garson Thursday, February 7th, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment in St. John's Cemetery, Garson. Edward David Douglas

DOUGLAS, Edward David - Passed away February 5, 2008 at The Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia. Will be lovingly remembered by Joan, his wife of 63 years. Will be sadly missed by his son David, Judi and their daughter Nicole, brother Stuart (Marion), sister in law Carolyn and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by granddaughter Lindsay (1999), brothers Joe and Hal. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service to take place at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Innisfil, Saturday February 9 at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Roy Esten Lennox

LENNOX, Roy Esten April 16, 1924 February 2, 2008 - Passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his beloved wife Evelyn. Loving Dad of son Tom (and his wife Linda), daughter Linda (and her husband Fred), Son Robert (and his wife Margaret), son Steven (Predeceased 2003) (and his wife Marie). Proud Grandpa of Martin and Katherine Lennox, Laura (Jeremy), Paul (Carrie) and Neal Haughton, Richard and Mark Lennox, Maxx and Axton Lennox. Roy lived as a great example to family and friends of how to live with dignity, grace, kindness, generosity and love. He enjoyed with his family and friends golfing, wintering in Florida, fishing, sharing a good meal and a dry martini and watching sports events with a beer and munchies. Roy met all of his health challenges with determination and strong spirit. He was true, loyal and kind to all those who met him on the path of their lives. He leaves us here on earth to join souls he held close to his heart who left before him. We will miss Roy to our ending days. Words cannot convey our sorrow and love for the spirit of our Roy Boy. Wherever you are today, raise a glass to those you love and revel in their presence. In keeping with Roy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton and Worsley Streets) Barrie on Friday February 8th, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations in Roy's memory may be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Regional Cancer Care Centre.

Beloved wife of the late Archie Bailey and Harold Little. Marie, Ida Findlay (Rick) of Ottawa and Anne Bailey (Chris) of Guelph. Stepmother of Gary Little (Susan) of Port Hope, Dennis Little (Barbara) of Campbellford, Laurie Little (Dorval) of Brighton. Lovingly remembered by 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren & 4 step-great- grandchildren. Sister of Ida & the late Lorne Stapley, Elsie & the late Leon Wilson, Edith & Glenn Brooks, Mae Scott, the late Cecil Scott, David & Pearl Scott. Sister in law of Tilly Scott, the late Charlie & Leafa Bailey. A Service of Remembrance will be held in St. John's United Church on Friday, February 8th at 3 P.M. Rev. Mark Fearnall officiating. Also loved by her 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Mary Doyle.
