Suddenly on March 24, 2005 at 21 years of age. Cherished son of John and Wendy, wonderful brother of Steven, Shari, Greg, Donna, Peter and Adam. Dear grandson of the late Nora Capreol and the late Gene Huckabone. He will be deeply missed by his best friend and sweetheart Laura Gauthier. Family and friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean on Monday, March 28, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Loving mother of Gordon (Joan), Betty (Don Huston), William (Fern) and Robert (Patricia). Predeceased by her sons David (Maud-surviving), and Garnet (Lois-surviving) and by her infant daughter. Predeceased by her brothers Leonard, David, Hilliard, Arthur, her sister Myrtle Conley and sister-in-law Lillian Cassidy. Grandma will be remembered with love by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She has touched our lives and left a permanent impression on our hearts. Loving grandfather of David Greene (Sonya), Terry and Christine Greene, Kathryn Kaufman (Peter), Jennifer Clarke, Kyle and Mark Gourgon and great grandfather of Taylor and Jessica Greene and MacKenzie Hoover. Brother of Mildred Laughlin. Predeceased by brother Arnold Greene and sister Mabel Cox. Special thanks to the staff at Specialty Care Granite Ridge for their care and support. Survived by his wife Jean and his son Roy (Denise). Grandfather of Eric and Julie, and great-grandfather of Chase. Bradley, F. John "Jack"

Bradley – F. John (Jack) At the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2005 in his 89th year. Beloved husband for 63 years of Muriel Grace Bradley (nee Currie). Loved father of Murray Bradley (Sheila) of Victoria B.C. and Beverley Reeves (Peter) of Nepean. Grandpa to his dearest Andrea. Also survived by his sister Joan Chilcott. Predeceased by his sisters Helen Bradley and Freda Cameron and his brother Pilot Officer Robert Bradley, RCAF Bomber Command, shot down over Berlin in January 1944. Jack was a veteran of World War II serving with the RCAF (Radar) from 1941 to 1945. Following the war Jack was employed by R.L. Crain Ltd. in Ottawa, Maple Leaf Mills in Toronto and Canadian Government Exhibition Commission and Trade Fairs and Missions Branch of the Department of Trade and Commerce, Ottawa. Special thanks to the caregivers at Lynwood Park Lodge and the caregivers and nursing staff at Stillwater Creek Community Retirement Centre for their excellent and loving care over the past two years. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road), Nepean, on Thursday March 31, 2005 from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. For those who wish, a donation to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.

Paul, Pippy (Doris) Mary
Date of Death: March 27, 2005
Retired, Ottawa Civic Hospital Peacefully at Bayfield Manor, Kemptville on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, aged 103 years. Born London, England, and a longstanding resident of Kars. Predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Geroge Paul. An inspiration to many who were touched by her positive outlook, sense of humour and love of life. She will be greatly missed by longtime friends Bill and Diane Holmes and family, her caregiver Rose Bastien, her church congregation of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Kars and many other friends. Special thanks to the staff at Bayfield Manor and Kemptville District Hospital for their loving care and support. Funeral service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Kars on Monday at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kemptville District Hospital Expansion Fund or St. John the Baptist Church would be appreciated.

Lieutenant Colonel (Ret’d) Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery. After a short illness at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 in his 89th year. Husband, long time companion and friend of Elsie Ruby Storey. Son of the late Sarah Jane Robinson and Silas Searle Salter. Father of Diane Sandra Salter (the late Gillis Dwyer), William Silas Salter (David Squires), Marilyn Jean Salter, Thomas Edward Dales Salter (the late Sheila Miseck), Beverly Anne Salter and Kim Robinson Salter (Joanne McQuarrie). Grandfather of John Heard, Karl Barnwell, Melinda Morbi, Gregory Weedman (deceased), Jule Kristen Campbell (deceased), Megan Campbell, Owen Campbell, Kirsten Dimma, Sarah Kelly, Jason (Jessie) Salter, Heath Freeman, Kara Freeman, Teri Freeman, Kathleen Salter, Molly Salter and Laura Salter. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. Brother of Elizabeth Philbrook and the late Jacqueline Macaskill. Cousin of John Lawer. A veteran of WWII and the Korean War, Bill was a longtime resident of Richmond, ON. and lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Richmond Branch. A memorial service will be held at St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, Richmond ON. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Richmond, ON., K0A 2Z0 or the Humane Society of Ottawa Carleton would be appreciated.

Predeceased by her son Paul (1957), daughter Christine (1980) and her husband Stephen Haynes (1978) and their children Shannon (1980) and Austin (1980). A private service was held on April 4th. Adoring grandpa of Breanna, Shawn, Nolan and Troy. Brother of Bob (Barbara), Willie (Claudette), Brenda Smith (Wayne), Wendy Brien and the late Barry Brien and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mabel Brien and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Bill and Marg Aldus. Loving companion of Shirley Grant. Predeceased by his wife Lorna Sloane. Dear father of David Watson (Sherry) of Korea, Ellen McDowell (Pierre Boisvenue) and Barbara Black (Daryl) of Williams Lake, BC and predeceased by his daughter-in-law Jane Watson. Much loved grandfather of Michael, Diana, Elizabeth and Barbara Watson; Redeana and Jarrett Sabiston , Thomas and Eric McDowell; and Kyle and Leora Rupert. Proud great-grandfather to 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived and will be missed by his extended family and friends.
