passed away at the Almonte Country Haven on Friday, November 12, 2010 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Cecil McIntyre. Dear mother of Wilma Chapman (Dave) of Kanata and Gail Colbourne (Doug) of Kars. Cherished grandmother of Brad Colbourne (Trisha), Brian Colbourne (Jill) and Jeffrey Chapman. Great grandmother of Charlie Colbourne. Survived by her sister Mary McIntyre of Saskatoon. Predeceased by her brothers Milton, Alex and Charles Symington. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Monday, November 15, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment Auld Kirk cemetery. Adored father of Debbie Gillen (John). Cherished grandfather of William “Tiger” Gillen. Dear brother of Muriel Carwardine (Jim) and brother–in-law of Phyllis Woodstock and Aldean Scharf. Predeceased by brothers Ernest, Earl, Clayton, Delmer, Harris, and Wallace and by sisters Olive, Edna, Hazel and Inez. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Elaine, loving wife of Allan for 56 years, passed away suddenly at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Sunday, 14 November 2010. Fondly remembered and survived by her five children Bruce (Natalie), Ross, Gary (Karen), Donna (Haig) Krikorian and Sandra (Chris Barrett) and her ten grandchildren Morgan, David, Gabrielle, Sally, James, Matthew, Gregory, Julie, Ian and Elanor. Sister of the late John William Mercer and Shirley Mercer Price. Also remembered by other extended family members including many nieces, nephews and her long-time friends. A special thanks to the staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital for their special efforts. A memorial service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd), Nepean on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

Mélina passed away peacefully at Riverpark Residence in her 100th year. Predeceased by her parents, Aldège Prud’homme (1962) and Léontine Lamadeleine (1952), her first husband, Royal Brazeau (1959), her second husband, Gérard St-Laurent (1971), her 10 brothers and sisters, Lévina (1942), Léona (1956), Florida (1965), Laurence (1981), Irène (1982), Rosaire (1978), Albert (1972), Alexina (1950), Alphonsine (1967) and Germaine (1988), her many brothers and sisters-in-law, and her beloved son-in-law, Michel Jacob (2002)
She will be profoundly missed by her children: Raymond (Laura), Lucie (the late Michel), Jean (Suzanne), Françoise, and her dear grand children: Sarah, Robyn, Danielle, James, and David. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, their children, and many family friends.
Visitation at the Tubman Funeral Home, 3440 Richmond Road, Ottawa, K2H 8H7, Friday, November 19th 2010, 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm.
Religious funeral service at 9.00am, Saturday, November 20th, at St Rémi Catholic Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, Ottawa, K2B 7W3.
Internment to follow at Notre-Dame cemetery , 455 Montreal Rd, Ottawa, K1K 0V2.
Reception for family and friends between 12.30pm and 3pm at a location to be determined.

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at Rideau Crest Nursing Home, Kingston, on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Delmer Green. Loving mother of, Chris Gayda (the late Nick), Don and Connie, Earl and Audrey, Pat Belliveau (the late Fred), Gary and Gaby, June and Bill Trueman , and Barry and Cathy. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren,and daughters-in-law Ann Green, Rosemary Green, and Barb Green . Predeceased by her son, Arthur, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Frank spent most of his working life championing for the workers in the hospitality and service industry. He was a strong unionist who believed in equal rights and fair play. Frank was a founder of the Hospitality & Service Trades Union, Local 261 and currently held the office of President, a position in which he took extreme pride. In hospital on Thursday, November 18, 2010, aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Leontine Caelen. Dear father of William (Bill), Sandra (Phil Ito), Barbara (Derrick Duncan), Karen Grella and the late Jean-Pierre. Loving grandfather of Jamie, Robbie, Curtis, Christina, Vincent, Allison, Jason and Nicholas. Great grandfather of Bailey, Emma and Dylan. Brother of Barbara (Gary Virk).
