McGilveray, Ann Dinning Watson
Ann passed away peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton hospital on Thursday, December 9th at the age of 72. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Iain, her loving daughter Jeanie (Christopher Barnes), her sister Jean Sellar of Elgin, Scotland, her brother John Sellar (Claire) of Salt Spring Island, B.C., her nephews Alan (Sue) McGilveray, and Graeme Penny (Caroline), and her nieces Anne Falcone (Ron) and Roslyn Connell (Douglas). Born near Peterhead, Scotland and educated at Glasgow University, Ann emigrated in 1967 having been a research pharmacist and lecturer (Aberdeen, Scotland). Initially she was involved with clinical pharmacy for cancer care (Ottawa Civic) but became a full time mother for some years before returning to community pharmacy in the West end before retirement. She enjoyed her garden until her frailty intervened, but never missed a chance to visit famous gardens in her travels. Friends are invited to Woodroffe United Church, 207 Woodroffe Avenue, on Tuesday, December 14th, for visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and a service in celebration of Ann’s life at 11:30 a.m. Thanks to the ICU and other staff of Queensway-Carleton Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arthritis Society or the Queensway-Carleton Hospital would be welcomed.

Smith, Peryl A. (nee Brown)
Peacefully, in hospital, on Wednesday, December 8th, 2010, in her 90th year. Dear mother of Bonnie Smith. Loving grandmother of Karyn Brandt and Kathy (Shaun Fraser). Cherished great grandmother of Erin, Cole and Jadyn. Predeceased by her son Sonny James, her husband Russell, her sister Frances Taylor and brother Peter Brown. Special thank you to the staff of the Carleton Place Hospital for their care and support. Montgomery, Myrtle Elizabeth (née Armstrong)
May 7, 1911- December 9, 2010
Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven in her 100th year. Dear daughter of the late Herman Armstrong and Edith (née Lowry). Beloved wife of the late William Andrew Montgomery. Loving mother of Audrey Shaw (Jack), Errol (Gwen), Lorne (Carol Persi), and Joan Raycroft (Harvey). Proud and cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 grandson who predeceased her. She is also survived by her sister Edna McCalpin (the late Earl), sister-in-law Edna Armstrong, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gordon, Eddie (the late Martha), Claude (the late Greta), Milton (the late Augusta), Kenneth, Lorne, Allan (the late Lois) and Graham (the late Marion). The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Almonte Country Haven for all their wonderful care. Peacefully after a courageous battle Raymonde got her wings on Sunday December 12th, 2010 at home at the age of 78. Raymonde Gay, cherished and beloved wife of over 58 years of J. Fern Turpin. Loving mother of: Nicole & her husband Ron Olsen , Lise, Gaytan & his wife Lorie, Jacqueline, Lucie & her husband Chip Harris and Fern Jr & his wife Lidia, predeceased by her beloved son Louis. Grandmother of Andre, Elise and Gabrielle Smith, Nicholas, Michael and Andrea Turpin, Jeremy Sneddon, Bianca and Louis Turpin. Raymonde is survived by her dear brothers Jean-Marc Gay & Bishop Robert Gay and is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Marcel, Jacqueline, Camille, Madeleine, Bernard, Andre, Aurette, Francoise & Denyse. Boisclair, Peter (Pierre)
passed away suddenly at home doing what he enjoyed, Saturday December 11, 2010, in his 66th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Diane (nee Rolland), loving Father to Samantha (Marco), Peter (Heather), and Dawna, Proud grandfather of Danica, Riley, Chloé and Anthony. Dear son of the late Antonio and late Margot Boisclair, son in law of Norma and the late Roger Rolland. Cherished brother to Carole (Bob), Monique (J.P.), Jean (Gaetane), Maurice (Helene), Jacques (Jeannine), as well as many other relatives and good friends. Peter was many things, son, husband, father, brother, generous person, good friend, bon vivant, and at times, a bit of a rebel. He will be missed by all. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. François de Salle in Gatineau. Family will be present thirty minutes prior to the service to receive your condolences. Cranston, Lynda Lee (Hoffman)
"A truly Great Mother and Wife." Died peacefully September 14, 2003 in her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her 51 years were too short and she will be missed. Beloved mother to Jarrett, Galen and Jocelyn (deceased) and cherished wife of Goldie Cranston. All of us are better people for having had the privilege of sharing her life with us. Predeceased by her parents, Charles (Bud) Hoffman and Irene Hoffman (Connor) both originally of Montreal. Lynda is survived by her brother, Barry Hoffman and his family of Burlington. Lynda is also predeceased by her parents-in-law Monte "Mr. C." and Stuart Cranston of Pakenham, Ontario. Also survived by her brother-in-law, Toller Cranston of Toronto and San Miguel, Mexico, who admired her zest for life and shared his quest for colour. He will be greatly missed by his wife Nyamme, son Alwyn (Jean), daughter Althea (Kato, recently deceased), son Colin Kagiso, grandchildren Chanda, Natasha, Justin, Maya, Namukasa, Lisa, siblings Rita (Jamaica), Aston (Florida), Norman (Jamaica), Daphne (Stittsville), Norris (Toronto), Annette (Jamaica), and many many relatives and friends. Loving mother of Coby MacLeod (Late Kim), Hans Snippe (Laura), Bill Snippe (Anita), Eddy Snippe and Janet Perkins (Bruce). Also survived by her 15 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Chris Sippe (Sandra).
