(Veteran of W.W. II. R.C.A.F., 435 & 436 Squadron). At Toronto General Hospital on Wednesday, January 24th, 2001. Bill Brown of Whitby, formerly of Etobicoke. Beloved husband of Jessie. Dear father of Glen and his wife Christine of Lethbridge, Alberta and Sandra and her husband Bruce McLaughlin of Whitby. Lovingly remembered by his 4 grandsons, Brendan and Corbin McLaughlin and Jason and Eric Brown. The family would like to thank the doctors nurses and staff at the Toronto General Hospital for their excellent care. Friends may call at Oshawa Funeral Service “Thornton Chapel” 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Friday, January 26th from 7 - 9 P.M. A Family Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday January 27th at 11:00 A.M. Cremation and Interment at Mount Lawn cemetery. On Wednesday, January 24, 2001. Danny, in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Susanne. Loving father of Karen Dillon and partner Andre Savoie, and Tracey Dillon, all of Oshawa. Dear brother of Mary Evoy, Kay Blundon. Michael Dillon and Frank Dillon. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McIntosh-Anderson, Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St E., Oshawa (433-5558) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Complete service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 27, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. RODGERS, Natalie Cecelia (Nell) -
Entered into rest peacefully with her family by her side, on Wednesday, January 24th, 2001 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Nell (Shutka), in her 80th year, was the beloved wife of Albert for 53 years. Loving mother of Carolyn and Gerald, both predeceased. Dear mother-in-law of Rene. Cherished grandmother, Baba and Gram of Erin, Jeff, Alison and Ben. Great grandmother and Baba of Courtnee, Cody, Jasper, Solomon, Aleric and Quincy. Nell is survived by her brother Dan Shutka and sister Sophie Currie, and will be missed by many other relatives. The family will receive friends at the Mackey Funeral home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705) 328-2721 on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Lindsay on Monday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Mary's cemetery , Lindsay. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

STEENSON, Thomas H. -
Peacefully at the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of 37 years to Joan (nee Brock). Dear father of Richard Ward. Survived by brothers Bob (the late Eileen), George, Harry, and predeceased by Dick (Muriel), and Elsie (Rob Buckan). The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre ICU and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 606 for their care and support. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax (Pickering Village) 905-428-8488 from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 in her 88th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Lightle and John Blair. Dear Mother of Ed Lightle and his wife Diane of Brooklin, Grace Lightle and Merv Lang of Little Brittain and Wayne A. Blair of Oshawa. Grandmother of Tracy, and Robert and his wife Shalamar. Loved sister of Arthur Patterson of Whitby, Kathleen Davidson of Cambray, and Jean Bell of Woodstock. Predeceased by Jim, Clare and Jack. Friends will be received by the family at Memorial Chapel Brooklin, 79 Baldwin Street, Brooklin from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Then to Brooklin United Church where visitation will commence at 1:00 o'clock with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. Cremation with interment to follow at Groveside cemetery , Brooklin. If desired memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 152 Brooklin, or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Lesley and her husband Keith Handley of Campbellcroft and Joy Carnochan and her friend John McCarthy of Sunderland. Dear Grandmother of Blake.
