passed away suddenly at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa, on Monday, February 5th, 2001, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late James Kirk. Dear mother of James Kirk of Oshawa and Arthur Kirk and his wife Susan of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren: James, Robb, Angela, Brenda and Heather and her four great grandchildren: James, Abraham, Ryan, Matthew and Cecilia. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel of Oshawa Funeral Service, 847 King St. West, Oshawa (721-1234) on Friday, February 9th at 3 P.M. Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.

PEARCE, Winifred Ethel -
Entered into rest at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday February 6, 2001 in her 87th year. Winifred, beloved wife of the late Alex. Dear mother of Cavan and Catherine, and Colleen and Stan McKelvey. Dear grandmother of Brendan and Stefan, and G.G. to Jennifer, Alana, and John. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday February 8, 2001 followed by cremation. Albert in 1980 via Simcoe, Ontario; Trinidad, West Indies; and New Forest, England; and temporarily resided in Bermuda from 1991-1995. Beloved wife of David Watt. (Retired Chrysler Employee). On February 4th, 2001, Adrian “Cameron” Cackette peacefully passed away at home in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mary Woods. Cherished brother of Rita MacLachlan of Ottawa, Olive Day of Ajax and his late brothers George and Norman of Scotland. Dear father of George and his wife Sandra, Tom and his wife Judy, Ian and his wife Paula and Cameron and his wife Caroline. Beloved grandpa of Michelle and her husband Gibby, Cohn and his wife Amy, Rob, Kristen and her husband George, Janet, Amanda, Andrew and great grandson Georgie. Fondly loved by many family and friends in Scotland and England. Lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren Patricia, Nancy, Sheri and Shannon. Predeceased by her grandson David. Dear great grandmother of Michael, Eric, Cohn and Raymond. JONES, Roy Dennis -
passed away on Sunday February 4, 2001. Beloved son of Carmen and Alty Jones. Cherished older brother to Keith and Andrew Jones. Lovingly remembered by his Aunts Barbara, Geraldine, Joyce, Olive, Venetta, Deidre, Maureen, and Jen. Uncles, Cliff, O'Neil, and Tony. WILDMAN, WILLIAM -
At Scarborough Centenary Hospital on Saturday, February 3rd, in the presence of his loving family and after a courageous struggle with numerous ailments. Born in St. Helen's, England in 1923, Bill was, like his brothers and father before him, a proud employee of Pilkington Glass. Bill served dutifully and with distinction in Bomber Command R. A. F. during the Second World War before emigrating to Canada in 1953 with his wife Joyce. Bill was a much respected and indeed beloved figure in the Canadian Glass industry working for both Pilkington Brothers Canada and its later forms Ford Glass and A. F. G. and for Beclawat Canada Ltd. Bill is survived by his loving wife Joyce, his sons Gary and Craig and their wives Debbie and Christine, and his much beloved grandson, Bill's "little man", Curtis William Wildman and also Candice and Colin Sheppard. Dear friends in mourning are many and include Les and Zona Pereira. Bill was the personification of kindness, gentleness and caring; those who knew him would agree that a finer man never walked the earth. He now walks among the angels. Cremation will be followed by a spring-time internment in Pine Hills cemetery in Scarborough. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, Corps #106, H.M.C.S. Drake (Oshawa), care of Commanding Officer Peter Kennedy, (905) 668-7536
